2010 Château de la Negly "La Brise Marine" Coteaux du Languedoc Blanc

SKU #1082020

Fruit for Château de la Negly's 2010 Coteaux du Languedoc La Clape La Brise Marine--a blend of Bourboulenc (representing old vines of the traditional local variety), Roussanne, and Marsanne--is deeply chilled overnight in one of the estate's several chambers, the free-run juice from its pressing being repeatedly settled for three or four days before cooling. Peach and pineapple are very much part of the attraction and dominate delightfully. This vintage is quite full but also refreshingly bright and mouthwatering. . Enjoy this over the next year. 13.5% abv.

An attractively created Rhone Valley style white comprised of old vine Bourboulenc, Roussanne, and Marsanne, the 2010 Negly offers flashy white Babcock-like peach, lime zest, and clove-like characteristics both on the nose and in its dry, crisp, mouthwatering set of delightful flavors. There is no wood here to interfere with this enjoyable Gem, which best reflects the exceptional 2010 harvest in this region of France. This wine will be, according to The Bean, one of our house whites for the month. It will be a perfect matchup with freshly cooked crab. Enjoy! 13.5% ABV
