This is impressive with ripe and complex fruit of blueberries and blackberries with minerals and dried flowers. Full-bodied, with focused and balanced fruit and ripe tannins. Racy and fresh.

Bright ruby-red. Intense aromas of cherry and dark berries, complicated by pungent herbal and floral qualities and a hint of licorice. Broad, fleshy and deep, offering intense dark fruit flavors that pick up spiciness and a touch of vanilla with air. Finishes sappy, sweet and very long, with lingering cherry compote and vanilla notes. A big, powerful rendition of pinot, with the heft to work with the richest red meat dishes. (JR)

Heavy and rich, as Pinots from this vineyard tend to be. Also exceptionally ripe, with massive cherry marmalade and smoky, sweet oak flavors. Feels young and direct and easy to drink, with a fruity sweetness...

Here the nose is relatively deeply pitched with dark berry and cassis aromas that enjoy added breadth from the presence of cinnamon and anise nuances. The round, suave and exceptionally rich flavors also possess a seductive mouth feel due to the impressive amount of dry extract, all wrapped in a delicious if mildly warm finish of plum liqueur.
