A classic. Spring Mountain Cab at its finest. Packed with deep, rich, explosive black and blue fruits, crème de cassis, pipe tobacco, woodsy spices and cedar. The palate is soft and luscious with silky ripe tannins. This is a really nice example of 2007 Napa Cabernet, it captures the generosity and power of the vintage without going over the top or losing varietal expression. I'm so happy to be able to offer this direct from the property!

A fabulous mountain Cab from the legendary 2007 vintage at a gorgeous place in its evolution…What more could you want?! It has plenty of primary power left in the tank while displaying the elegance and complexity that comes with over a decade in bottle. Cassis, mulled black cherry, blackberry, and blueberry intermingle with notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, anise, baking spices, old leather, and vanilla. A touch of dark stony minerality and damp pine forest lend their Spring Mountain stamp of origin. The long and elegant finish rounds out the complete package with fine, dusty tannin. While so many current Napa releases of this pedigree cost significantly more and demand cellar time, here we have an example of a magnificent Napa mountain Cab in its prime glory years. A relative steal at the price.

Wow, what a gorgeous wine. This is right at the early part of what will be a long drinking window. Balanced for an '07, but still showing the richness of the vintage, it is a wine built on structure and depth. Deep notes of cassis and plum join a bright floral component on a nose that has hints of Margaux, but the palate screams Napa Valley with it's texture and mouthcoating fruit. We don't see many 2007s in quantities these days, much less something this good for a price this approachable. Don't miss it!
