Full malolactic fermentation in oak and maturation in new French barriques for 18 months and 6 months in bottle. Extract and understated power, together with finesse and complexity of texture on the palate. The epitome of finesse. The color is very deep and intense purple. ?n the nose it is dense, concentrated complicated but so elegant. Aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberries and black raspberries coupled with spicy characteristics, smoke and touch of leather fill the nose. On the mouth it is silky but powerful framed by delicate tannins and gentle acidity offering flavors of ripe fruits, cloves, black pepper and just a touch of herbs. The aftertaste has extended length and such a great complexity. A classic!
