Russian River Brewing's Consecration is a dark Belgian-style ale that's aged in American oak barrels previously used for aging Cabernet Sauvignon. The brewers use Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus, as well as currants, to create an unbelievably unique, funky, tart fruit-inflected beer. Awesome.
