Roundly considered one of the finest Swiss Absinthe available in any market, the Duplais is an exacting recreation of a 100-year-old recipe distilled at the superlative Matter Distillery in Kallnach. The recipe comes from the important 19th century distillation manual "Traité des Liqueurs" by the eponymous P. Duplais. Of course the distiller, Oliver Matter, is a meticulous perfectionist dedicated to traditional production methods, so rest assured he's making this about as close to the original as humanly possible. No surprise the stuff is absolutely magical and should be considered a benchmark for the category.
