2007 Ferrari-Carano Alexander Valley Chardonnay (torn label)
SKU #1046779
Gambero Rosso
Very much related to its cellarmate above in its fresh, fruity style and nicely balanced impressions on the palate, this one is just a bit lighter overall and perhaps a trifle more accessible. It will be right at home with grilled white fish filets yet has the depth to stand up to roast chicken with gravy. And like its sibling, it has the depth to grow with bottle age.

Int'l Wine Cellar
Light yellow-gold. Buttery pineapple and melon aromas are brightened by tangy lemon zest and white pepper. A gently sweet midweight, with plump tropical and orchard fruit flavors given definition by dusty minerals. This easy-drinking chardonnay finishes with good breadth and lingering sweetness.
