It's that time of year again! The fresh Spring sakes are here, for a limited time. They arrived a bit earlier than they sometimes do. There is a lot of Japanese in the name here, so let me parse it a bit: Shiboritate = Freshly Pressed. Namazake = Unpasteurized. Genshu = Undiluted. This is brewed in the old-fashioned style, resulting in just a hint of gaminess, folowed by an interesting spicy note, and notes of fresh almonds. This is a high-quality sake that has some added alcohol to brighten it up a bit. Delicious cold. Needs to be kept refrigerated, so if we ship it, it will need to go overnight.
