"Very pale, green-tinged color. High-pitched aromas of lime, pear, mint and lichee, with a pronounced suggestion of raw oyster. Pure, suave and laid-back, with rich but subtle flavors of nectarine, spice, thyme and pepper, and a hint of tropical fruits. A spherical, rather fleshy saké with creamy suggestions of butter and macadamia nut. As round as this is, it also communicates a light touch. The fresh finish boasts excellent lift. Try this with spicier foods."

The ultimate luxury sake! Silent Stream from Tentaka is made from the high quality grade (Toku A Tokujo-Mai) of Yamada Nishiki rice and polished to a mind boggling 35% remaining. It is then made in the free-run shizuku style without any pressing of the rice. The result is a phenomenal purity and incredible clean and bright profile. Soft lime, mint, and lychee dominate the nose. Medium bodied with flavors of honeydew, pear and fresh cut hay amplified by a vibrant acidity. The laser-focused finish has an enjoyable dusty character and a clean anise-liek flavor. Pair with red snapper, stilton, or pate.
