According to Robert Parker: "A new estate acquired by the brilliant Stephan von Neipperg, this small vineyard produces approximately 1,200 cases of a 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc blend. The deep ruby/garnet/plum-colored 2003 exhibits a sweet nose of earth, tobacco, dried herbs, red currants, and cherries. A round, easy-going attack and mid-palate are followed by dry, hard tannin in the finish. There is a lot to like about this Pessac-Leognan, but it is best drunk during its first 7-8 years of life." (04/04) Barrel tasting according to Clyde Beffa, K&L Bordeaux Buyer: "High tones on the nose. Very sweet red berry flavors. Soft and forward. Very well-made. * Could be a sleeper."
