Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
This has a beautifully defined nose of blackberry leaf, espresso and black olives. The palate has firm, quite masculine tannins, full-bodied but not over-powering with a finish that reminds me more of a Cabernet Franc than Sauvignon. (NM)

This is a Cab that wouldn’t stand out in a competitive blind tasting, because it’s not a bruiser. Instead, it can claim balance, finesse, elegance and harmony. Everything’s understated. But aficionados will savor the beautiful fruit and classic structure.

Wine Spectator
Aromas of roasted herb, grain and sage, this is tight, with firm, chewy tannins wrapped around a core of currant, coffee, herb and cedar. (JL)

K&L Notes
This outstanding vintage shows full, rich aromas and flavors redolent of ripe stone fruit and dark berries, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a lush wine with a subtle tannin backbone that will allow the wine to become more complex with age.
