SKU #1015688 91 points Wine Spectator

Rich, intense and sharply focused, with roasted coffee, grain, currant and black cherry flavors offering complexity and concentration and finishing with a mix of ripe fruit and pretty vanilla oak shadings. (JL) (9/2004)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Just over 1,000 cases are produced of this 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (consultant Heidi Barrett is behind the wine). It exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as a pleasant perfume of cedar, black currants, and creamy oak. Medium to full-bodied and elegant, with fine harmony. (RP) (2/2005)

K&L Notes

The second vintage for this upstart. In 2001, Revana Family Vineyard celebrated its first harvest. The famous Heidi Peterson Barrett has nurtured these grapes through each phase of their fermentation, barrel aging and blending; focusing on minimal handling with a goal of creating a wine with richness, elegance and distinctiveness.
