*Two Stars* Here is another wine that goes beyond vintage expectations. It is a lovely, rich and quite handsome effort filled with a classic mix of curranty and black cherry fruits, rooty and loamy notes and caramelly oak. Moreover, the fact that is not part of the fruit-bomb crowd and, instead, trades on its nuanced winemaking and complex layers also raises it up in our estimation. (4/2005)
The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals the vintage’s leanness along with a deep, impressive medium ruby/purple color, medium body, moderate tannin, and an attenuated finish. I liked its purity, ripeness, and overall Bordeaux-like personality. (RP) (12/2003)
