Juicy plum skins and dark earthy flavors are thick and rich in this valley floor Cabernet. The gingersnap and tobacco aromas are very pleasing. The finish is spicy and dry yet supple at the same time. Enjoy now or in 10 years.

Int'l Wine Cellar
Full red-ruby. Spicy aromas of currant, cherry, licorice and fresh herbs. Varietally accurate Cabernet flavors of plum, raw currant, cedar and spice, with complicating notes of herbs and dark chocolate. Finishes with firm, slightly drying tannins and good length. (ST)

Wine Spectator
Dusty lead pencil, graphite, dried currant, anise and mineral flavors are taut, offering a glimpse of black cherry, herb and cedar. Very closed and dense. Has time on its side. (JL, Web Only-2009)
K&L Notes
94-95 points Neal Martin: "A far superior bottle that was shown at the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter in Nov-04. It has an irresistible nose, quite complex, with notes of cedar, earth and cigar box. The palate is very harmonious and well-balanced. More glycerin than others - it simply glides across the palate. Cashmere tannins, very vigorous and pure. Gorgeous. Tasted June 2005."
