2011 Mezzacorona Moscato Giallo (Elsewhere $8)

SKU #1137342

Made from estate-harvested grapes grown just north of the Garda Lake, which are ripened to a sweet intensity. The cool fermentation is halted before finishing, however, leaving the crispness of tropical fruit, with characteristic exotic Moscato aromas and residual sweetness. A great wine to pair with the cake course!

Wow! This is a shockingly good wine for the price! Off dry with intense white flower aromatics, and bright acidity on the finish. I grabbed a bottle because I was curious and planning on having spicy Mexican for dinner, and was uber surprised at the quality. And at only 11.5% alcohol you might just finish the bottle.
