This 100% estate grown, Grand Cru blanc de blancs is made entirely with old Chardonnay selections from Mesnil, Cramant, and Oger. This is our number one most re-purchased Champagne, and it is often sold out!

The Veuve Clemence gets four years of aging on the lees to the Reserve's three, and comes from older vineyards. They are both entirely estate-grown, Grand Cru Chardonnay. Before now, this cuvee was only available for the French market, but because of our great relationship with Launois, we were able to convince them to sell us a little. If you like it, don't hesitate--they may not have more for us the next time I order. While the wine certainly has mid-palate power, it is a dry, serious Champagne that loves to be paired with shellfish and is a wonder wit ...Read More »

94 points Vinous: "Wonderfully layered and sensual in the glass, the 2012 Pinot Noir Comptche Ridge is all about texture, silkiness and polish. Dark red cherry, plum, licorice, smoke and star anise are some of the many notes that grace the palate in this exquisite, layered Pinot. The 50% whole clusters add lift, but are also beautifully integrated. The Weir brothers own Comptche Ridge, a remote, dry-farmed site in Anderson Valley. Anthony Filiberti farms the vineyard and makes the wine, half of which is bottled under Filiberti's Anthill Farms label, whil ...Read More »

The shuttererd Cambus distillery had a spectacular history in the development of modern whisky and has had an equally important, albeit shorter and more recent, history in K&L's direct import program. At the dawn of the 20th century not everyone was in agreement that grain whisky produced on a Coffey still could actually be considered whisky. The extraordinary quality of Cambus was a key component in establishing that precedent which is a huge part of today's whisky trade. In fact, for many years, Cambus formed a large portion of Johnnie Walker Blue. Unf ...Read More »

93 points Vinous: "The 2015 Pinot Noir Comptche Ridge Vineyard is one of the most complete of these wines. Fresh, vibrant and nuanced, the 2015 possesses striking energy. Veins of supporting salinity give Comptche Ridge its signature energy and tension. Often one of the more intriguing wines in the range, the Comtpche Ridge is once again terrific. (AG)" (05/2017) K&L Notes: According to Antonio Galloni: "The Weir brothers own Comptche Ridge, a remote, dry-farmed site in Anderson Valley. Anthony Filiberti farms the vineyard and makes the wine, half of w ...Read More »

Built in 1811, Port Dundas grew throughout the 19th and early 20th century, by absorbing neighboring producers, it quickly became Scotland's largest distillery. During its long history on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal in Glasgow, this grain whisky powerhouse provided much of the juice for the Johnnie Walker and White Horse blended whiskies. With Diageo's expansion and modernization of Cameronbridge in the early 2000's, production at Port Dundas ceased, and in 2011 the landmark site was completely demolished. That closure makes this 28 year old s ...Read More »

93-95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Barrel Sample. While the wine has opulence and richness, it also has a more severe side that is classic for Montrose. It maintains the packed fruit of the vintage in both tannins and juicy blackberry fruit. This is a wine for drinking after 10–12 years. (RV)" (04/2017) 93 points Vinous: "A gorgeous second wine, the 2016 La Dame de Montrose is incredibly expressive today. Supple, radiant and inviting, La Dame has all the potential to be an overachiever in this vintage. Today, it is quite open, and, even more importantly, f ...Read More »
