Asahi Shuzo Dassai "45" Junmai Daiginjo Nigori Sake (300ml)
Back In Stock!
Possibly the sexiest Nigori we have ever tasted. You don't usually see Nigori at a Daiginjo level! This is sleek and delightfully light. There is a touch of zippy acidity, which helps lift the sweetness of the rice. Great fruity notes and a very clean style for a creamy sake.

Russian River Brewing Co. "Damnation" Golden Ale, California (375ml)
Back In Stock!
In the great beer producing country of Belgium, some brewers have made it a tradition to give their beers an unusual name. Sometimes the name is curious, now and then it is diabolical and other times it is just plain silly. Damnation is an interpretation of a Belgian style Strong Golden Ale. It has extraordinary aromas of banana and pear with mouth-filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth. 7.0%ABV / 1.068 O.G / 25 BUs

Quady Vya Vermouth Sweet (375ml)
Back In Stock!
90-95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Pretty mahogany color. First nosings pick up exotic herbal aromas that are delicately sweet and botanical; later passes reveal deeper, more complex scents of autumn woods, mulled wine and holiday spices. In the mouth, it’s sweet, sour and spicy at entry; by midpalate the range of flavors runs from nutmeg to quinine to muscat grapes to orange rind. Aftertaste is long. The finest sweet vermouth available." (12/2002) K&L Notes: Imagine a warm tingling sensation and a spicy aroma. Cinnamon gives warmth while gentian, galanga...

Gueuzerie Tilquin "à L'Ancienne" Oude Gueuze, Belgium, (375ml)
Back In Stock!
"The Gueuze Tilquin à l’ancienne (6.4% alc / vol) is a spontaneous fermentation beer obtained from the blending of 1, 2 and 3 years old lambics. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it is re-fermented in the bottle for a minimum period of 6 months. The lambics used were fermented and matured in our own oak barrels at the blendery. They are made from worts brewed by Boon, Lindemans, Girardin and Cantillon. The taste is tart and dry but has a certain roundness that makes this Gueuze à l’ancienne particularly accessible for non-experts. It will also delight fans o...

Cesar Florido is, to my knowledge, the only practicing bodeguero commercializing wine in the village of Chipiona, technically outside of the Sherry triangle (though it sits right along the Atlantic Ocean and is a prime place to age sherry oxidatively as well as under flor).

Cesar Florido Moscatel Dorado Chipiona (375ml)
Back In Stock!
Cesar Florido, aka "Mr. Moscatel," produces sweet, fortified wines from Moscatel grapes, which thrive in the sandy soil of Chipiona (very proximate to Sanlucar de Barrameda). Though this area is famous for Moscatel, most of it is sold to the larger houses; Florido is one of only two bodegas producing moscatel wines independent of the local co-op. The sugar laden grapes are pressed and then ferment to about 2 degrees, at which point neutral grape spirit is added to fortify the wine up to 15%, leaving a good amount of sugar in the wine. After a year of ...

2014 Roy Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml)
95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has a slowly evolving nose of smoked meats, sandalwood and unsmoked cigars over a core of cassis, blackberry pie and dried mulberries. Medium-bodied and finely styled in the mouth with bags of finesse, it has a savory, understated palate and quiet intensity on the finish. (LPB)" (12/2017) 94 points Vinous: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, tightly wound wine. Grilled herbs, smoke, licorice, cedar and tobacco open ...

2017 Graham's Vintage Port (375ml)
Back In Stock!
98 points Decanter: "Based on Touriga Franca from south-facing slopes at Quinta dos Malvedos, with Touriga Nacional from quintas Vila Velha and Vale de Mealhadas (both predominantly north-facing), topped out with fruit from old vines at Quinta da Tua and 10% Sousão. It's a very deep blue-black colour with an expressive, super-ripe nose of plum, mint and bergamot which springs from the glass. The palate is rich, velvety and voluptuous in typical Graham’s style. The initial richness makes the tannins, which show up on the ripe, broad, mouthwatering finish....
