2014 Joseph Drouhin Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Clos de la Garenne" (Pre-Arrival)

93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Garenne, which was still in cask, has a faint hint of butterscotch and almond on the nose, reticent at first but opening with some conviction with aeration. The palate is fresh on the entry with bitter lemon, Granny Smith apples and a keen line of acidity. This actually puts the Meursault Perrières into a hat -- a really superb Puligny from Drouhin, with a killer saline aftertaste. (NM)" (12/2015) 91-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A slightly more elegant ...

2010 Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet "Les Folatieres" 1er Cru 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival)

91-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A beautifully complex nose features hints of pear, white peach, acacia blossom and mineral reduction. The mineral character also completely informs the chiseled, intense and tension-filled flavors that culminate in a citrusy, austere, bone dry and saline finish. This is terrific and absolutely textbook Folatières.*Outstanding*" (06/2012) 93 points Vinous: "Pale greenish-yellow. Delicate, pure aromas of lemon and minerals. Brisk and backward, with lovely acidity enlivening the dusty, tactile citrus and mineral fl ...

2012 Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Perrieres'' 12-Pack (Pre-Arrival)

93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrieres comes from 40-year-old vines, the last plot before you reach Les Referts. It has a strict, mineral-driven bouquet that is quintessential Perrieres, evoking sea spray and shucked oyster shell aromas. The palate is extremely well-balanced with crisp acidity. Notes of dried lemon peel, spice and flint gain vigor towards the finish that feels long and persistent in the mouth, although you feel that it is keeping secrets back for after bottling. One of my picks from ...

2015 Maison Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Perrières" 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival)

93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A distinctly restrained nose requires aggressive swirling to coax the lovely aromas of citrus peel, floral, wet stone and white orchard fruit aromas. The intensity of the chiseled flavors is borderline painful and this intensity continues onto the youthfully austere, stony and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is a really lovely Perrières though note that it's one of the relatively few examples of the vintage that will definitely require at least some patience. *Sweet Spot. Outstanding*" (06/2017) 89-92 points ...

2015 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Combettes" 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival)

91-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Reduction and wood are presently all that is discernible on the pungent nose. The succulent, round, concentrated and voluminous flavors possess a seductive, even silky, mouth feel while delivering seriously good length on the powerful yet refined finish. This too should age effortlessly for a decade, indeed perhaps even longer." (06/2017) 94 points John Gilman: "The 2015 Combettes from the Boudot family is outstanding and reminds me quite a bit of the 1992 version when it was young. The bouquet is ripe and flat ...

2012 Bouchard Pere et Fils Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru "La Cabotte" 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival)

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Chevalier Montrachet la Cabotte Grand Cru from Bouchard Père & Fils has a slightly more exotic bouquet within this flight with touches of white chocolate and almond originating from the more generous and conspicuous use of new oak. It needs time to fully integrated. The palate is concentrated and lightly honeyed, the acidity nicely judged but there is a nagging feeling that it was picked a little too late, reminiscent of some of those 2006s on the fini ...
