This beautiful Pinot Noir was grown and crafted by the world-class team at Seven Springs / Evening Land as a custom, high-end bottling for the Altamarea Restaurant group. Because of the challenges COVID 19 has posed to restaurants during the last 12 months, some of the wine was surplus to requirement. As a longtime partner of the winery they offered it to us at a fantastic price! This main component of this wine comes from the legendary "La Source" block at Seven Springs. This parcel of vines was planted in 1984 predominantly to own-rooted Pommard clone....

Wine Enthusiast: "The scents and flavors of grapefruit dominate this highly acidic rosé, with bare hints of watermelon and strawberry. The palate-piercing acidity makes this a candidate for white fish with a lemon sauce, or simple grilled poultry. Try it as an aperitif on a warm spring or summer day. (PG)" (07/2020) Wine Spectator: "Crisp and easygoing, with strawberry and orange peel accents. (TF)" (09/2020)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "This attractive pale ale pours a bright amber color, with a frothy off-white head and gorgeous lacing that lingers. Forward hop-derived aromas leap from the glass, including scents of orange oil, grapefruit pith and pressed hop flowers, with additional notes of ripe tropical fruit and sweet, raw dough that add depth. A solid caramel-malt backbone supports the creamy, medium-weight palate and keeps the piny, bitter-hop flavors in check. Hints of caramel and toasted bread tease on the finish, followed by a long, dry astringency ...

91 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: " Deep ruby. Cherry-cola, blackberry, licorice and a subtle note of woodsmoke on the fragrant nose. On the palate, pliant dark berry and spicecake flavors gain sweetness and weight with air, picking up a floral nuance along the way. Closes spicy, focused and very long, with supple tannins adding shape. " (07/2014) K&L Notes: One of the best efforts from Archery Summit in some time. A blend of fruit from their six vineyard sites, including Arcus and Red Hills Estate. This wine shows lots of upfron...

From the producer: "Jade Liqueurs' Esprit Edouard Absinthe Supérieure represents the first absinthe released by Jade that was painstakingly reverse engineered from sealed antique bottles of the original spirit. The story of Esprit Edouard Absinthe Supérieure is rooted in the late 19th century, at the time when one of the world's most prestigious absinthe distilleries was at the zenith of its existence. This distillery crafted products that were the subject of widespread acclaim and international export. At the time of the ban, this distillery had earned...

John Gilman: "A discreetly perfumed nose of red and blue pinot fruit with violet, briar and warm earth undertones that are reflected by the rich, full and serious medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty and firmly structured if slightly edgy finish. This should be able to round out with a year or two in bottle though for now, a bit of youthful asperity dominates the finish." (10/2008) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Pinot Noir Premier Cuvee is medium ruby-colored with aromas of spice box and red fruits. Silky, supple, and forward on th...

96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Chardonnay Maresh Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1983. It takes its time to reveal mushroom, tree bark, raw almonds and honeycomb aromas with a core of apple pie and white peaches with a very savory, spicy undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate explodes with flavor layers and lively acidity, finishing incredibly long and minerally. This is stunning! (EB)" (12/2020) 96 points Vinous: "Bight, bright straw-yellow. A powerfully scented nose evokes fresh honeydew melon, Meyer lemon, iodine and white ...
