Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Sine Qua Non "B 20" California Syrah (97JD, 95RP, 94JS, 94ST, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Very classy and suave, with a personality that grows on you, the 2008 Sine Qua Non Syrah B 20 is 92% Syrah, 6% Grenache, and 2% Viognier that was aged in 60% French oak for 26 months. Sporting a deep, opaque purple color, it slowly unwinds in the glass to shows layered, decadent aromas of blackberry, cassis style fruits that are intermixed with notions of underbrush, smoked meat, and chocolate. The purity, as well as the depth and focus are the defining traits here, and on the palate, the wine is on the lighter side of full-bodied and possesses a phenomenal texture that coats every part of the mouth, yet never seems heavy or cumbersome. Seamless, very pure, and perfectly balanced, this beauty is bliss now, but given the balance and overall harmony, should continue to shine for upwards of 12-15 years. Brilliant stuff and it excels more for its seamlessness and elegance mor
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 91VN, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Dark, rich and intense, a vibrant, deeply concentrated and firmly tannic style. Young and tight, this wine packs in lots of rich, chocolaty plum, black currant, cherry, anise and sage and herbal flavors. Really revs up the flavors on the finish, with unfolding layers of complexity and depth. *Cellar Selection* (JL)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Checkerboard "Checkerboard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This small, 12-acre, boutique operation on the south side of Diamond Mountain debuted in 2006 (awarded 91 points in last year’s report). Approximately 350 cases of this wine made by well-known consultant Martha McClellen are produced. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Springs" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (95CG, 93RP, 93ST). Connoisseurs Guide: "Rich, ripe and refined, Ridge's Lytton Springs bottling is once again a showcase for complex yet wonderfully mannerly winemaking. There is fullness in the body and balance at every stop making for a firm yet alluring palatal impression even at the wine's tender age. Its deep berry and spice flavors are lifted further by a dollop of creamy, somewhat vanillin-scented oak, and the wine's tannins, while somewhat elevated by the underlying acidity are no more than one would want to find in a wine that will lie down for a half decade and more while it achieves its comfortable majority. *Three Stars*" (01/2013)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Petite Sirah (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Petite Sirah, which is their basic introductory model, so to speak, is a sensational wine in its own right. Opaque purple-colored, loads of white flowers, blueberries and blackberries are present in this wine, which should drink well for 20-25 years A winery often confused with the Stags Leap Wine Cellars, but owned by the giant Treasuries Wines consortium, they are doing some creative work and making extremely interesting wines. 91+ Points (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Sine Qua Non "Kolibri" Proprietary White Blend (97RP, 93JS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Kolibri continues the brilliant success Krankl has had with dry whites. As one can see when visiting his cellars, he is now using the fashionable concrete eggs as part of the white wines' upbringing. About 25% new French oak is used, and the balance is older barrels. Most of the fruit is from estate vineyards, with about 18% purchased from the Bien Nacido Vineyard. The final blend is 69% Roussanne and 31% Viognier. As is found in all Krankl's whites, the 2008 Kolibri possesses extraordinary aromatics. Abundant notes of marmalade, honeysuckle, white flowers, and candied citrus are accompanied by good acidity, beautiful intensity and purity, and a layered, fresh, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. The wine is intense, but never heavy or overbearing. (RP)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Rhys San Mateo County Pinot Noir (92JG, 92VN, 90BH, 90JD, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2015 Pinot Noir (San Mateo County) is one of the hidden gems in this lineup, as it often is. The radiance of the vintage comes through, but the addition of 33% whole clusters adds savoriness and striking aromatic lift. Sweet red cherry, mint, rose petal and sage are some of the many notes that develop in the glass. This is another very pretty and expressive wine from Rhys. (AG)" (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $63.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Louis Jadot (Domaine Gagey) Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Boudots".
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Palmer, Margaux (94RP, 94WE, 93WS, 92JD, 92VN, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at Bordeaux Index's annual 10-Year On tasting in London. The 2006 Château Palmer was wonderful out of barrel ten years ago and now in bottle, it fulfills its promise with a stunning, precise bouquet of maraschino, iodine, cassis and tobacco scents that seem a few years younger than its Margaux peers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin that cloak its sweet core of cassis and blackcurrant fruit. However, what is so striking is the fineness of the tannin and just how well that oak is subsumed into the fabric of the wine. This is a long-term proposition: a great Margaux from Thomas Duroux. (NM)" (05/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Bevan "Tench Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah (92RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Joseph Phelps was one of the first so-called Rhône Rangers to exploit grapes associated with France’s Rhône Valley. His top-flight 2012 Syrah Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard includes 5-6% Viognier. Aged in a combination of new and neutral French oak, it exhibits copious notes of lard, bacon, meat, blackberries and black raspberries. Pure, rich, full-bodied, lush and exotic, it should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 6-7 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1986 Coutet "Cuvée Madame", Barsac (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This unbelievably decadent, unctuous Cuvee Madame has the type of extract (but without the overlay of heavy, toasty oak) that one normally finds only in a great vintage of d’Yquem. The wine is much less evolved than the regular cuvee of Coutet. At the moment, it is crammed with honeyed tropical fruit that comes across in a powerful format. This is an enormously rich, almost overwhelmingly intense Barsac that needs another decade to begin to reveal its subtleties and complexities. It is mind-blowing! (RP)" (01/1998)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Quilceda Creek "CVR" Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always a terrific value, the 2013 Cvr Columbia Valley Red Wine is a medium to full-bodied, ripe, sexy 2013 that has tons of plums, licorice, lead pencil shavings and spice to go with a rounded texture, ripe tannin and a great finish. (JD)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $317.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Pott "Turf War - Bisagno Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L).
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96WE, 93WS, 92ST, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Surprisingly lively and fresh, this is still a seriously impressive wine. The high proportion of Semillon is now coming to dominate the Sauvignon, to give a wine that is finely shaped, full of creamy flavors of wood and some white peach. In 10 years, this will still be fresh, in 15 just mature. (RV)" (06/2005)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2002 Col Solare Columbia Valley Red Blend (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Lean and austere, this one aims for subtle and delivers a beautifully proportioned package. It has refreshing acidity to support the dark berry and dusky herb flavors, lingering nicely as the finish slowly fades. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. (HS)" (06/2006)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Conn Creek "Anthology" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Absolutely delicious, a fat, sumptuous wine that flatters the palate from beginning to end. Smells plush, brimming with currants and fancy oak trimmings, and turns lush and complex with fruit in the mouth. Best to drink it soon, in the fullness of youth." (06/2004)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (100JD, (97-100RP), 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is scented of lemon tart, baking bread, crushed stones, clover honey and shaved almonds with hints of pure, sliced pears and Golden Delicious apples. Full-bodied, elegant, fine and restrained, the silken palate has a quiet intensity, finishing long with savory layers. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $336.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Lancaster Estate Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deep ruby/purple-colored 2000 Proprietary Red Estate possesses aromas and flavors of black cherries, plums, currants, and a touch of new oak. The tannin is firmer and the finish more angular than in the 1999. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 & 2016 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay , including 3-bottles of 2014 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay and 3-bottles of 2016 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay (92WS). Of the 2016 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay,Wine Spectator writes: "Rich and creamy, with seductive vanilla-scented oak that adds texture and nuance to the solid core of green apple, pear and melon flavors. (JL)" (02/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A thing of pure beauty, and--naturally--rare as a wine can be, this 2007 Volcanic Hill will soon be one for the history books. Volcanic Hill is comprised of 8 acres of south facing hillside vineyard. It is the warmest of all of Diamond Creek's various micro-climates. The color of the soil is gray, and the consistency is that of fluffy, volcanic ash, originally deposited from the eruption of Mt. Konocti 8 million years ago. Volcanic Hill is the longest lived of all Diamond Creek's Cabernets, in fact, it is likely one of the longest lived wines made in California! It is typically full bodied, loaded with intense ripe berry fruit, cassis, violets and a smoky richness, finishing with good length and firm tannins. The Volcanic Hill bottling includes a small amount of the extra-ordinary Petit Verdot grape.
Starting Bid: $461.25

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1983 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (94JG, 91RP). John Gilman: "The 1983 Ducru-Beaucaillou is one of the finest wines of the vintage on either bank of the Gironde and it is now just starting to drink at its apogee. The utterly refined bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of red and black cherries, a touch of nutskin, a beautiful base of gravelly soil tones, cigar ash, a touch of juniper berry and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is svelte, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with excellent mid-palate depth, fine focus and grip, melting tannins and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish. This still has several decades of fine drinking ahead of it, but the 1983 Ducru is now entering its peak period and is an outstanding glass of claret. " (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Les Pavots (a 2,730-case blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot) exhibits big notes of chocolate fudge intermixed with dark berry fruit, forest floor, underbrush, and some smoky oak. The wine is full-bodied, with remarkable intensity, low acidity, and a fleshy, opulent mouthfeel. This wine should drink well for 15-20+ years. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Proprietary Blend The Maiden wraps around the palate with dark cherries, plums, cinnamon, cloves and new leather. This is a surprisingly muscular style for the year, with quite a bit less of the early appeal than is found in many other wines. The aromas and flavors remain dark, powerful and brooding from start to finish. Flowers, cinnamon and mint add further complexity on the finish. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Gramercy Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WE, 92W&S, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is most likely the greatest vintage of this cuvee to date. Full-bodied, ripe, layered and yet still elegant and beautifully balanced, it offers classic currants, black raspberry, graphite, lead pencil and cedar aromas and flavors. A blend of 92% Cabernet and 8% Merlot that saw 23 months in 40% new French oak, it has high-quality tannin, ample texture and a rock-star finish. (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru 'Les Porets St.-Georges' ((91-93BH), 92JG, 92ST, 92WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Moderate floral notes add breadth to the very fresh and earthy red currant and plum aromas that lead to precise, vibrant and attractively transparent medium-bodied flavors that are complex, serious and persistent. This is a classic Nuits with fine balance. *Outstanding* " (01/2011)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Folatieres" ((91-93VN), 92BH). Vinous: "Bright yellow. A sexy note of reduction to the aromas of musky stone fruits, lemon verbena and linden flower. Rich, salty, soil-driven wine with very ripe yellow fruit flavors supported by a firm mineral foundation. The long finish features excellent grip and floral perfume." (09/2016)

Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Springs" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (94VN, 91CG, 91RP). Vinous: "The 2014 Lytton Springs is another absolutely gorgeous wine...there appears to be plenty of complexity and depth hiding behind the acidity and tannin. Far from an easygoing Zinfandel, the 2014 Lytton is a wine to buy and cellar for at least a handful of years. The wine's richness, persistence and vertical intensity all lead me to believe it will be special in time. Black cherry, pomegranate, mint and sweet spices meld into the resonant finish. A kick of tannin from the Petite adds personality, something the 2014 has in spades. This is an absolutely stellar set of wines from Ridge... Zinfandel fans will find much to like in the 2014s, a vintage that produced super-elegant wines. Of course, the biggest news at Ridge is Paul Draper's retirement, but then again, that has been in the works for so long that it was hardly a surprise when it was formally announced earlier t
Starting Bid: $146.00

Bid on this 6-500 ml-bottle lot of 2014 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (500ml) (94RP, 93JG, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard is a solid step up over the Anderson Valley release and has more tension, elegance and precision. Offering up classic notes of strawberries, spice, black cherries and a touch of sous bois, it has medium to full-bodied richness, terrific purity of fruit and integrated acidity. Give bottles a year or two and drink through 2026. (JD)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Orin Swift "Blank Stare" Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Blank Stare gives a gregarious nose of ripe peaches, passion fruit and grapefruit with touches of cedar, dried herbs and fresh straw. Medium-bodied, it packs a punch with loads of citrus and tropical flavors supported by racy acid and finishes on a lingering herbal note. (LPB)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Ramey "Diamond Mountain District" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94W&S, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The dense purple-tinged 2002 Diamond Mountain District Young Vines offers rich, sumptuous aromas of burning embers, smoke, blackberries, currants, and a gravel-like hot rock component interwoven with licorice and earth. (RP)" (02/2005)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Rivers-Marie "Occidental Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Talley "Rincon Vineyard" Arroyo Grande Valley Pinot Noir (94RP, 93VN, 92CG, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Leading off the single vineyard releases, the 2014 Pinot Noir Rincon Vineyard is a killer effort that has plenty of intensity and depth in its black cherry, raspberry, crushed flowers and underbrush aromas and flavors. Very fresh, floral and vibrant, with bright acidity, it has solid concentration and will keep for a decade. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Joseph Phelps "Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah ((90-92VN), 91RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Syrah Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard has really come together nicely. Today, the 2013 is bright, punchy and aromatic, with lovely floral and savory overtones. Mint, sage, rose petal, sweet red cherry and pomegranate are all pushed forward. This is an unusually forward, open wine for the year, but I doubt that will be much of an issue for most readers, as the 2013 is incredibly delicious today. The 50% whole clusters are barely perceptible. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Turley "Cedarman" Howell Mountain Zinfandel (97RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A Howell Mountain Zinfandel, the 2013 Zinfandel Cedarman Vineyard is a proprietary blend of Zinfandel from both the Rattlesnake Ridge and Dragon Vineyards. A tiny bit of Petite Syrah and Syrah makes it into the final blend. This is profound wine. Inky ruby/purple, with notes of blackcurrants, blackberries and a floral component as well, this full-bodied, stunningly rich, concentrated and structured Zinfandel is loaded. Dense and powerful (15.8% alcohol), the wine will last for 10-15 or more years. This is a great, great effort in what looks to be an unreal vintage in terms of quality for Turley. With a finish that goes on for a good 40-45 seconds, this is amazing stuff. 97+ (RP)" (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Castello di Amorosa "Morisoli-Borges Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Hall Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon ((92-94VN), 94WE, 94WS, 93RP). Vinous: "Graphite, ash, smoke, incense and licorice all jump from the glass in the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain District, a wine that is full of aromatic complexity, nuance and structure. The typical, rich lush Hall fruit is there, coupled with plenty of underlying grip and tons of Diamond Mountain personality. A brooding, backward wine, the 2012 is going to need time to soften. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010-2011 O'Shaugnessy Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2010 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN) and 1-bottle of 2011 O'Shaugnessy Mt Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2010 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain covers every inch of the palate with layers of deep, rich, dark fruit. Blueberries, blackberries, violet and cloves seem to pop right out of the glass in this juicy, extroverted wine. Deceptively approachable, the 2010 has plenty of tannin lurking beneath its massive fruit. I would not be surprised if the 2010 shuts down in bottle. It is one of the deepest, inkiest 2010s I tasted from Howell Mountain. (AG) 96+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay ((98-100RP), 99JD, 95VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Sugar Shack Estate is opulent straight out of the gate, with stunning orange peel, candied ginger, nutmeg and ripe apricot with touches of cashews and croissant. The full-bodied palate explodes with expressive bread, nut, spice and stone fruit layers, marked by a lively line of acid that lifts the fruit and gives a long, gregarious finish. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $355.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015-2016 Groth "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2015 Groth "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94W&S, 93JS, 93WE) and 1-bottle of 2016 Groth "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96WS, 95WE, (91-94VN), 93JS). Of the 2016 Groth "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon,Wine Spectator writes: "This delivers a very tightly focused, almost piercing beam of cassis, raspberry coulis and bitter cherry fruit, scored with singed alder and iron notes. Incense and tobacco details chime in on the finish. Long and refined, with the fruit leaving a sweet and mouthwatering echo. *No. 4 Top Wines of 2019, Collectibles* (JM)" (11/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Bibi Graetz "Testamatta" Toscana Rosso (98JS, 96RP, 92WS). James Suckling: "A very beautiful and thoughtful Testamatta with aromas of earth, terra cotta, black tea, and lavender. Full-bodied, very layered and extremely polished with superb, soft tannins. Racy and very long. Muscular and formed but very, very balanced. Gorgeous richness and depth. Shows balance and wonder. " (07/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.02

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Reynvaan "Stonessence" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (96RP, 93WS, 91WE, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Syrah Stonessence checks in as 100% Syrah that's all from the In The Rocks Vineyard in the rocks region of Walla Walla. Notes of blackberries, blueberries, crushed violets and peppery herbs all emerge from this tight, backward, concentrated Syrah that has thrilling purity. With air, it shows a touch more meat and game, but it desperately needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep for a decade or more after that. It’s a killer bottle of wine! (JD) 96+" (06/2007)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Bruno Giacosa "Le Rocche del Falletto di Serralunga" Barolo (97JS, 95RP, 95VN). James Suckling: "This is drinking so beautifully now with so much plum, licorice, and berry character. It's full body and very soft with polished tannins and a super long finish. The round texture ad decadent fruit is wonderful. " (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Marcarini "La Serra" Barolo (92RP, 90WE, 89ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Barolo La Serra emerges from the glass with a bouquet redolent of perfumed red berries, flowers and mint, all quite typical of this site. In 2007 La Serra shows a touch more volume and depth than is usually the case, which helps to balance the hard, firm tannins that are often found in this wine. This is a beautifully proportioned, harmonious Barolo from Marcarini. It is already so open and expressive, it is hard for me to envision a long life, but most of the bottles will have been long consumed before that is likely to be an issue. The fruit was harvested on October 1 and 2. The wine saw 15 days of fermentation, followed by another 39 days of contact with the skins. The wine then spent two years in large, neutral casks prior to being racked into steel to rest before being bottled. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. These are some of the finest Baroli I have ever tas
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne "Treehouse Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96JD, 95JS, 95WE, 93RP, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Brought up in 45% new oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir Treehouse Vineyard comes from a site in the Russian River that has slightly redder soils, which always seems to give wines from this site more minerality as well as higher acidity. This 2016 offers a fresh, focused, yet seamless style to go with a huge bouquet of cassis, underbrush, violets, and hints of blood orange. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, has beautifully integrated acidity, and a pretty, pure, graceful profile. Give bottles a year or two and it should keep for a decade." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $434.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1998 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). John Gilman: "This was the first time that I had the pleasure to taste the 1998 vintage of Martha’s Vineyard and the wine is excellent. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a ripe and classic constellation of sappy cherries, blood orange, a touch of red currant, eucalyptus, a fine base of soil, cedar and fine spicy complexity in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and now nicely open for business as it closes on its twentieth birthday, with a superb core, impeccable balance and a very long, complex and moderately tannic finish. A classic in the making. (Drink between 2020-2060) 94+" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 94JG, 94VN, 93JS, 92W&S). Decanter: "Beautifully perfumed aromas of rose petal, violets, blackberry, dark chocolate and incipient cigar tobacco burst from the glass in a striking array, the prelude to a wine that’s structured around refined, savoury tannins and juicy acidity. An ethereal and classically proportioned Cabernet which will age effortlessly thanks to its flawless balance, likely putting on weight with bottle age. Terrific stuff; not to be missed. *Top Five Wines of the Vintage* (WK)" (09/2016)
