2012 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Note from 2013 review, re-reviewed with no new note in 2014: We finished the Chardonnay portion of the tasting with Mark Aubert’s favorite wine, the 2012 Chardonnay Lauren Estate, which comes from rich Goldridge soils. There are 1,000 cases of this straw/greenish-colored beauty fashioned from various clones, including the Old Wente, Hyde, Hudson Corton-Charlemagne selection and the Mt. Eden clones. It possesses more of a tannic backbone than its siblings because of its grip. Full-bodied with lots of honeyed citrus, orange marmalade and abundant fruit on the attack and mid-palate, this youthful Chardonnay seems barely touched by its oak aging. All of these 2012s will be irresistible when released in 2014, but should age beautifully for 6-10+ years. As many delicious wines as I have tasted from Mark Aubert, who has now moved into a beautiful winery on the

2006 Sine Qua Non "The Raven No. 6 + 7" Santa Barbara Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Sine Qua Non "The Raven No. 6 + 7" Santa Barbara Grenache (98RP, 97JD, 97WS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, largely from the 11 Confessions Vineyard, with a small amount from Bien Nacido, spent 21 months in barrel. It is really strutting its stuff now, and showing even better than my original note predicted in August of 2009. The wine has loads of meat, licorice, smoke, charcoal and graphite, as well as huge peppery, blackberry and black cherry notes. Full-bodied, with great acidity, nicely integrated tannin, an admirable mouthfeel and tremendous length, this killer Grenache is still young and probably 3-5 years away from prime time drinking. 1995 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1995 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, and the last wine made by Pam Starr at Rombauer Vineyards, the 1995 offers worthy competition to the magnificent 1994, which was more highly heralded. A touch of spring flowers, intermixed with crème de cassis, licorice, lead-pencil shavings and cedar, are all present in this wine of great intensity and full-bodied power, but with an elegance and finesse that, again, similarly suggests a Château Margaux made in St. Helena. This beautiful wine should continue to drink well for another 25 years. (RP)" (08/2016)

1994 Zind Humbrecht Rangen de Thann Clos St. Urbain Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Sélection de Grains Nobles (375ml)
Bid on this half-bottle of 1994 Zind Humbrecht Rangen de Thann Clos St. Urbain Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Sélection de Grains Nobles (375ml) (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In 1999, Robert Parker called the 1994 Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Rangen de Thann Clos St Urbain Selection de Grains Nobles 'a quintessential sweet Gewürztraminer' and scored it 99+ points, because he considered it 'off the charts' in terms of flavor extraction, balance, quality, and the lavish quantity of extract and intensity'. Well, I did not know it when Olivier poured me this wine (and I am sure that if he knew about the legendary status of his wine in our data base, he at least he did not mention it), so I was free to take my own notes. Bernstein color. Deep, clear and very stony nose, crushed stones, wet volcanic rocks, malty notes, herbs, dark honey, peanut butter, dried apricots, orange zest -- all here what makes the Rangen unique. On the palate, the wine is very clear, deep and precise, very sweet but

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Château de Beaucastel "Hommage a Jacques Perrin" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 95ST, 95VN, 95WS, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I found this bottle of 2001 Châteauneuf du Pape Hommage À Jacques Perrin to be slightly behind a recent bottle from my cellar. Nevertheless, it was perfumed and surprisingly open, with gorgeous cedar, charcuterie, truffle, blackberry and currant-like fruit all soaring from the glass. Full-bodied, seamless and supple, with its tannin, fruit and acidity perfectly balanced, it’s just now on the cusp of moving from its adolescent stage into the early stages of maturity. Give bottles another 3-5 years and enjoy over the following couple of decades. The blend here is the classic, foudre-aged mix of 60% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, 10% Counoise, and 10% Syrah. Bid on this magnum of 2007 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (96JD, 95RP, 95WS, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Beautifully rich and meaty, yet with a structured edge, the 2007 Domaine du Pégaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée delivers a textbook Pégaü profile with smoked plums, beef blood, roasted garrigue, lavender, and iron like qualities literally souring from the glass. Full bodied and focused on the palate, with edgy underlying structure, thrilling fruit, and a broad, chewy mid-palate and finish, this brilliant Châteauneuf-du-Pape took the better part of the evening to open up, and was even better on the second day. While delicious now, it will be even better in 3-5 years." (03/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Domaine J-F Mugnier Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru "Les Fuées" (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine with stunning aromatics, the 2003 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuees bursts forth with scents of jammy red cherries and bilberries. Medium to full-bodied and sappy, it is plush, oily-textured, crammed with cherries, and – after considerable searching – reveals an underlying structure of super sweet tannin. Of the 2009 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape,Wine Spectator writes: "This is crammed with fruit, spice and structure, as braised fig, plum skin, cassis and anise notes wrestle with roasted apple wood, melted red licorice and tar for now. Bid on this bottle of 2003 Domaine Marcoux Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 95ST, 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "What's a candidate for the wine of the vintage, the sensational 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes (85% Grenache and 15% Syrah) is a sunny, Provencal, sexy and incredibly full-bodied beauty. With a still youthful ruby color, a big mid-palate, sweet tannin and tons of decadent aromas of currants, black cherries, garrigue, chocolate and spiced meats, this blockbuster Chateauneuf du Pape delivers incredible intensity and flavor (it's over 16% alcohol), yet stays lively, graceful and seamless. It is a decidedly powerful, virile wine with plenty of Serralunga muscle in its powerful, brooding personality. Tobacco, mint, crushed flowers, licorice and leather are some of the notes that add complexity and depth to the dark fruit. Layers of flavor build to the explosive finish. 1994 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte Rôtie
Bid on this bottle of 1994 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte Rôtie (98RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "(From the 1997 note) The great glories of this house are its Cote Roties, of which there are now five separate offerings. The single-vineyard 1994s were singing loudly when I saw them in July. All of them scored significantly higher than they did during the two previous years, which is not unusual as Guigal's upbringing (elevage) of the wines results in better examples in the bottle than in cask. All three wines flirt with a perfect score. At this tasting, they reminded me of Guigal's 1982s - opulent, sumptuously-textured, forward, rich, precocious, flattering wines that will drink well throughout their lives. The fabulous 1994 Cote Rotie La Landonne, which is more dominated by toasty new oak than La Mouline and La Turque, is extremely muscular and powerful, with high tannin as well as fabulous extract. The wine reveals a dense, black/purple color, and a tight nose with plenty of

Of the 2007 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes",John Gilman writes: " The entire range of 2007 Domaine Dujac wines that I tasted for this report were absolutely stellar, and ironically, I tasted all of them here in New York, rather than sampling a few in Burgundy. If the old saw that “Burgundy always tastes best when drunk in the region” is really true, then I can only imagine how good these wines would be in their local market! The 2007 Combottes is outstanding, wafting from the glass in a blossoming bouquet of red plums, cherries, a touch of raspberry, cocoa, fresh herb tones, nutmeg, lovely soil tones and vanillin oak. 2003 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Giacomo Conterno "Cascina Francia" Barolo (94RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Barolo Cascina Francia is a remarkable wine for the vintage. This deep, powerful Barolo reveals awesome richness and an almost liqueur-like quality to its fruit that is balanced by the chalky mineral notes that provide freshness on the finish and help convey an impression of notable balance. In 2003 there is no Monfortino, and the Cascina Francia surely benefits from the addition of that juice which is mostly felt in the wine’s depth. Resisting the temptation to harvest too early, Roberto Conterno waited until October 8 to start picking in his Cascina Francia vineyard, long after most producers had already brought the fruit in. He had the benefit of the late September rains that helped restore at least a little freshness to the fruit, and as a result his 2003 Cascina Francia doesn’t have the aggressive tannins that plague so many wines. Simply put, this is a stunn

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Hudelot-Noëllat Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru "Les Suchots" (1.5L) (92BH, 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Menthol and soft wood nuances frame the restrained but spicy aromas of black fruit and high-toned floral scents. There is good richness to the relatively full-bodied generous flavors that possess a silky texture, all wrapped in a lightly structured and impressively persistent finish. There is a bit of wood on the finish that offers only moderate complexity at present though my score assumes that more will develop over the next 3 to 5 years. As was the case when I originally reviewed this ultra-elegant effort, there is noticeable gas on the finish so if you're going to try a bottle young I would advise decanting it first. Bid on this 3-1L-bottle lot of 2015 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (94RP). The perfumed black fruit preserves and chocolate-laced notes completely pack the full-bodied palate, with soft, velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. 2001 Le Macchiole "Messorio" Bolgheri
Bid on this bottle of 2001 Le Macchiole "Messorio" Bolgheri (96RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This was a cooler year on Coastal Tuscany and the 2001 Messorio shows the signs of a slower and more prolonged evolution. The summer months were slightly cooler than average with more evident diurnal shifts towards the end of the growing season that helped to amplify the wine’s dark fruit aromas and its beautiful sense of grace and balanced power. A deep freeze during spring months naturally reduced yields in the vineyards. The wine’s slow and steady bottle evolution has established profound depth and silky persistence. The bouquet is highly distinctive thanks to the mineral notes and a touch of delicate herb (that reminded me of green clover) that lifts so delicately from the wine’s darkened core. The tannins are smooth and beautifully polished. (ML)" (10/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Les Cailloux (Lucien et André Brunel) "Cuvée Centenaire" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97JD, 96RP, 96WS, 95ST). Jeb Dunnuck: "A stunning, profound wine, the 2005 Les Cailloux Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Centenaire, a blend of 80% Grenache and the rest a mix of Mourvèdre and Syrah, delivers spectacular aromatics of kirsch, garrigue, roasted meats, and licorice that soar from the glass. Absurdly perfumed, complex and a touch exotic on the nose, the wine is full bodied on the palate with a seamless, thick, sexy texture, perfect balance and a blockbuster finish that highlights silky tannin and decadent fruit. Surprisingly accessible (especially for the vintage), it will be interesting to see if this evolves along the same lines as the 1990 Cuvée Centenaire, which is drinking beautifully today and has lots of life left. 2010 Domaine J.-F. Coche-Dury Auxey-Duresses
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine J.-F. Coche-Dury Auxey-Duresses. From Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant: "One need only speak of Meursault to evoke a myriad of questions regarding the village’s resident icon, Jean-François Coche. He began working in the family vineyards alongside his father, Georges, at the age of fourteen, becoming the third generation of Coches to tend these vines. His marriage to Odile Dury in 1975 added to the family holdings, which lead to the formation of Domaine Coche-Dury. Since then, the enigmatic, modest, Jean-François has only reluctantly accepted the celebrity status of his wines. When asked, he would be most likely say that it is rigor, constant vigilance, and adherence to old-school tradition that makes the wines so special. Jean-François’ heritage seems more closely linked to the studious, farmer-monks that once propagated this area of Burgundy during the Middle Ages than to the stocky Gauls of lore, as his work style is almost hermetical. 1990 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage
Bid on this bottle of 1990 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 Le Pavilion is as compelling as the 1989. It exhibits slightly less opulence, but more power and weight. Black colored, with an extraordinary perfume of licorice, sweet blackcurrants, smoke, and minerals, it coats the palate with layer upon layer of decadently rich, superconcentrated, nearly viscous Syrah flavors. There is amazing glycerin, a chewy, unctuous texture, and phenomenal length. The tannins, which are considerable when analyzed, are virtually obscured by the massive quantities of fruit. I hope I live to see the day when Chapoutier's 1990 Ermitage Le Pavilion, Chave's 1990 Hermitage, and Jaboulet's 1990 Hermitage La Chapelle are fully mature! What a trio of wines these three producers have produced from this historic appellation! Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Andremily "No. 3" Santa Barbara County Syrah (100JD, 96RP, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Unquestionably one of the wines of the vintage, Jim Binns’ 2014 Andremily No 3 is a blend of 89% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre and 3% Viognier that comes from three great sites in Santa Barbara County: Larner Vineyard, White Hawk and Alta Mesa (Mourvèdre). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2005 Syrah Atlantis Fe 203-1a,b,c is a blend of 93% Syrah, 5% Grenache, and 2% Viognier, with 25% whole clusters... An extraordinarily flowery nose interwoven with scents of blueberries, blackberries, incense, and graphite soars from the glass. Although not the biggest or most concentrated Syrah Krankl has made, it is one of the most nuanced, elegant, and complex. It remains full-bodied, but builds incrementally on the palate, and comes across as elegant and delicate, especially when compared to many California Syrahs. Nevertheless, the intensity is mind-boggling, and the finish lasts for nearly a minute. (RP)" (06/2008)

2007 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99RP, 97JS, 97WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Syrah Armada Vineyard is simultaneously one of the most youthful wines in this tasting and also the most complete, unfurling in the glass with a savory bouquet of black truffle, bitter chocolate, cassis and other dark fruits. On the palate, the wine is both more expansive and more incisive than the 2008, its lavish, textural attack segueing into a deep, stony and layered mid-palate. The finish is sapid, even saline and very long. Aged in demi-muids, one of which is new, the 2007 finished up with 14.2% alcohol. Baron is planning to release a small tranche of library wines this June, so members of the Cayuse mailing list shouldn't hesitate to snap up a few bottles if they can. (WK)" (06/2018)

2002 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage ((91-94RP), 92WS, (90-91ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the candidates for the Rhone Valley’s 'wine of the vintage' is Chave’s 2002 Hermitage. A draconian selection has resulted in a deep ruby/purple-colored offering revealing sweet notes of melted licorice, briery berries, earth, and herbs. Medium to full-bodied, pure, elegant, and intense, this forward-styled Hermitage appears to be better than the 1992, 1993, and 1994, which are all fine wines that are holding up well. The 2002 should be at its peak between 2005-2015. What Chave accomplished in the extremely challenging 2002 vintage is unquestionably noteworthy. Not because of tiny yields and small grapes, but due to Chave’s decision to eliminate every grape except the very best, 2002 is a small crop. (RP)" (12/2004)

Of the 2004 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage Blanc,Wine Spectator writes: "Very rich, but cuts like a knife, with dried apricot, marzipan and wet stone notes leading the way for richer flavors of candle wax, heather, honey and white peach on the back end. The long, extremely taut finish seems almost tannic; this is built for a long life. Try now, or forget it in the cellar. (JM) " (09/2007)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Blended of 66% Sémillon, 32% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle, the 2015 La Proportion Doree has a gorgeous honeyed lemon, white peach and grapefruit-scented nose with hints of wax candles, honeysuckle, elderflower and baking bread. Full-bodied, rich, creamy and oh-so-seductive, the palate delivers a wonderful intensity of honeyed citrus flavors with a long, exotic spice and mineral-laced finish. 1999 Quintarelli Rosso del Bepi Veneto
Bid on this bottle of 1999 Quintarelli Rosso del Bepi Veneto (92RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Quintarelli’s deeply-colored 1999 Rosso del Bepi offers an explosion of super-ripe sweet fruit on the nose. Lush and generous on the palate, it displays superb length and a glorious, primary expression of fruit even if it clearly doesn’t have the structure of his more important wines. Quintarelli declassifies his Amarone to Rosso del Bepi in vintages he doesn’t feel merit the Amarone designation. (AG)" (10/2007)

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Robert Mondavi "30th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 95RP, 95WE) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There is a majesty, richness, and breadth to 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon 30th Anniversary Reserve. This special bottling (about 1,000 cases) is a fabulous wine. From its opaque purple color and stunning aromatics of blackberries, cassis, pain grille, licorice, and Asian spices, to its full-bodied, concentrated, superbly-extracted style, this wine possesses virtually everything. Layers of fruit, glycerin, extract, and sweet tannin are presented in a flamboyant format. The tannin level is high, but so is the wine's richness and length. It is a sensational effort. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94VN, 93JS, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always coming across like a Napa version of a Pessac-Léognan because of the wet pebbles, smoky barbecue and stony notes, which give it a striking minerality, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard exhibits more blueberry, black raspberry and licorice. It again offers full-bodied, super-concentrated flavors that are pure, stunningly intense, and a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on. This wine also needs 3-4 years of cellaring and should keep for up to three decades. 96+ (RP)" (10/2015)

Of the 2013 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard, which comes from St. Helena, has that blueberry, gravelly, wet-pebble note that I often associate with great vintages of La Mission Haut-Brion. The wine has an inky purple color, gorgeous black raspberry, blueberry liqueur notes, licorice and earth. 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99RP, 97VN, 96DC, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Flirting with perfection, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard RBS from clone 337 was aged in new Darnajou barrels (80%) and the rest in new Taransaud barrels. There were 410 cases produced, which is several hundred cases less than the production in 2012. An unbelievable red wine, it boasts an inky/purple color as well as abundant notes of charcoal, white chocolate, toast, new saddle leather, blueberries, blackberries, creme de cassis and licorice. As the wine sits in the glass, some chocolaty, smoky elements also emerge. This virtually perfect Cabernet Sauvignon has been flawlessly made and should age effortlessly for 25-30+ years. Vinous: "The 2010 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard Late Disgorged is absolutely brilliant and also one of the very best wines I have tasted from Michael Cruse. Bright, sculpted and dripping with energy, the 2010 dazzles at the very first taste. The citrus peel, crushed rock, white pepper and floral notes are drawn with a thin pencil in this super-expressive Blanc de Blancs. 2004 Sine Qua Non "Ode To E" Central Coast Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Sine Qua Non "Ode To E" Central Coast Syrah (99RP, 96ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Ode to E (Syrah) is an incredible blend of 94% Syrah, 4% Grenache and 2% Viognier, all from their estate Eleven Confessions Vineyard, that spent just under four years in oak. Boasting insane notes of creme de cassis, barbecued meats, licorice, exotic spices and singed cedar, this beauty flows onto the palate with a full-bodied, seamless, pure and incredibly layered profile that carries massive fruit and concentration, yet never seems heavy, overdone or puts a foot wrong. It’s the purity of fruit, as well as the overall seamlessness that puts this right up near top of the heap. Drinking perfectly now, it will continue to evolve gracefully for another decade or more. It’s incredible juice and I wish every wine lover could have a sip (or a big glass) of it. (JD)" (07/2014)

1994 Bryant Family "Pritchard Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Bryant Family "Pritchard Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A potentially perfect wine, the 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a fabulous nose of cassis, cream, blueberries, violets, minerals, and spice. It smells like a hypothetical blend of a great vintage of L'Evangile, Clinet, and Mouton-Rothschild. The opaque purple/black color is followed by a full-bodied wine stacked and packed with fruit, glycerin, and extract. No component part is out of place in this formidably endowed, remarkably well-balanced wine. The purity, richness, sweetness and depth of fruit suggest that the wine's potential is limitless. Much like its cellarmate, the 1994 Colgin Cabernet Sauvignon (also made by Helen Turley), the Bryant Family Vineyard's 1994 should evolve into one of California's legendary Cabernets. 2000 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur" (95JG, 93ST, 92BH, 92WS). John Gilman: "Much like the Montée de Tonnerre, the Valmur is still a very primary wine, and will prove to be one of the longest lived wines of the 2000 vintage. The nose is deep and pure, with strong notes of wet stones and chalk driving the other aromatic constituents of apple, lemon, bread fruit and spring flowers. On the palate the wine is deep and tightly-knit like the Montée de Tonnerre, but with even more depth at the core, great acid structure, laser-like focus, and tremendous length and grip on the finish. It does not seem at this stage to be quite as profound as the 1996, but this will be one of the very best 2000 Chablis. (Drink between 2012-2035) 95+" (12/2003)

Offers a compelling combination of sweetness of fruit and energy; here a subtle hint of herbs just adds to the appeal of this densely packed, utterly fresh wine. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1994 Dominus "Napanook Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 95DC, 93VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Christian Moueix and his talented winemaking team continue to rewrite the definition of a Napa Valley reference point wine. I have had a difficult time keeping the corks in my bottles of 1994 Dominus. Eight-thousand cases were produced from a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. In this vintage, 174 days passed between bud break and the harvest, a remarkable period of time for any wine region in the world. The 1994 is a strikingly thick, compellingly rich wine with the texture of a great Pomerol, despite being made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine exhibits a dense purple color, and an incredibly fragrant nose of jammy black fruits, spice, smoke, and loamy, truffle-like scents. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, with thrilling levels of extract and richness, but no sense of heaviness or

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (100JS, 100RP, 98WE, 97WS, 96DC, 95ST, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An absolutely amazing wine... It comes from one of the few biodynamic vineyards in Bordeaux, but you are likely to see many more, given the success that Tesseron seems to be having at all levels, both in his vineyards and in his fermentation/winemaking. An astounding, compelling wine with the classic Pauillac nose more often associated with its cross-street neighbor, Mouton-Rothschild, creme de cassis, there are also some violets and other assorted floral notes. The wine has off-the-charts massiveness and intensity but never comes across as heavy, overbearing or astringent. The freshness, laser-like precision, and full-bodied, massive richness and extract are simply remarkable to behold and experience.
