2015 Williams Selyem "Weir Vineyard" Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Williams Selyem "Weir Vineyard" Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir (93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Strong cinnamon and clove aromas lead to bold, ripe black-cherry and cassis flavors in this full-bodied, well-structured and ultimately nuanced wine. It has lots of grip on the palate from firm tannins and bright acidity, while the spicy oak flavors last all the way to the finish. *Cellar Selection* (JG)" (03/2018)

2013 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée ((90-92VN)). Vinous: "The 2013 Vosne-Romanée is a real overachiever at this level. Dark red cherry, plum, spice, orange peel and mint open up in a surprisingly pliant, expressive wine for the year. The balance of fruit intensity and energy is compelling. The Liger-Belair wines are all made in tiny amounts and competition for them is fierce. If there is one of the less expensive wines to look for in 2013, it is the 2013 Vosne-Romanée villages. The Vosne is a blend of fruit from eleven parcels. (AG)" (04/2015)

2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94RP, 93JS, 93ST, 92W&S). Vinous: "A dark, brooding beauty, the 2006 Monte Bello is still very, very young. The aromatics alone are enticing, but the tannins still need time to soften. The 2006 is a masculine, vertical Monte Bello that demands cellaring. Even so, it is pretty impressive today. Scents of lavender, sage, mint and savory herbs add closing flourishes. The perfumed sweetness of the fruit (one of the hallmarks of the very late harvest) remains one of the signatures of the 2006. The 2006 can be enjoyed today or cellared for another 25+ years. 2010 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay (94RP, 93VN, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chardonnay Belle Cote (1,950 cases) enjoys 10-12 months of barrel aging then rests in tank for a few months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. A light gold color with a greenish hue is followed by stunning aromas of mango, pineapple, white peach and honeysuckle. This full-bodied, rich Chardonnay boasts terrific minerality as well as good acidity. Still somewhat reserved, but bursting with potential, this beauty can be drunk now and over the next 6-10 years. Wine Spectator: "Focused on a rich core of dark berry, raspberry and savory dried herb notes, this gains depth and dimension midpalate on, ending with a potent mix of vivid flavors supported by fine-grained tannins. 2007 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Bright medium ruby. Knockout ineffable nose combines blackberry, blueberry, flowers, minerals, spicecake, iron and miso. Silky-sweet and highly concentrated, conveying an almost candied quality to its blueberry, blackberry and espresso flavors but energized by almost shockingly bright acidity. With its outstanding density and refined texture, this is clearly the product of a great site. This velvety, sappy wine utterly saturates the palate and tongue without leaving any impression of dryness. A superb wine with a long life ahead of it, but even today it's balanced and sexy. 2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also offering off-the-charts richness, with a flamboyant, hedonistic profile, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc) possesses spice-laced aromas and flavors of cassis, smoke tobacco, roasted meats, dried licorice and wild herbs that are to die for. Full-bodied, incredibly layered, rich and textured it has no hard edges, masses of tannin and a finish that won’t quit. I’ve been lucky enough to taste this cuvée three times (rated 96 and 97) in the past handful of weeks and this was the best showing yet. From a cool vintage, it is still youthful and vibrant, and will continue to shine for another 15+ years. Drink now-2028. (JD)" (06/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1981 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1981 Leoville-Las Cases appears close to full maturity, with an excellent deep ruby color, a spicy, cedary, tobacco and currant-scented nose, and good depth and ripeness. A classic, elegantly wrought wine, this is one vintage where the final blend was more complex, but no better than the Cabernet Sauvignon cuvee. (RP)" (10/1995)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Cayuse "God Only Knows" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (94JD, 94RP, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Baron’s 2008 Grenache Armada Vineyard God Only Knows displays delectable scents and luscious palate presence of lightly-cooked strawberry and plum laced with nut oils and shadowed by plum and herb distillates. Seamlessly polished, almost velvety and glycerol-rich as well as sweetly ripe, this, nonetheless, projects a torrent of primary fruit juiciness along with levity and energy. Saliva-inducing salinity along with piquant fruit pit, and iodine accents add riveting counterpoint to a finish of prodigious length that manages to simultaneously sooth and stimulate. I would expect this to reward attention for at least another decade. (DS)" (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Bevan "Wildfoote Vixen Block" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96VN, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the Cabernets and from a site in the Stags Leap AVA, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Wildfoote Vineyard offers a thrilling bouquet of blueberries and blackcurrants to go with complex white flowers, violets, and hints of chocolate. With no hard edges, full body, and beautiful fruit, this Cabernet shines for its incredible finesse and elegance yet certainly doesn’t lack for power. It’s a brilliant wine." (01/2019)

2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 94WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The star of the show, the 2010 Isosceles Reserve (90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot aged 21 months in 100% new French oak) is a deep, rich and muscular effort that still has some oak and tannin to integrate. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish. The tannin quality here is exceptional, and while it has no shortage of fruit, it retains a sense of elegance and balance. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar and drink it through 2025. (JD)" (10/2014)

2003 Domaine René Engel Echézeaux Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Domaine René Engel Echézeaux Grand Cru ((88-91BH), 91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the Domaine Engel tasting in London, the 2003 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a deeper color compared to the 2002: pure and charming with maraschino cherry, peppermint and a slight peaty note. The palate is medium-bodied with plump tannin but counterbalanced with a crisp line of acidity. There is a savory note here, gaining density towards the truffle and smoke-tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. A bit stocky but hey, it's a 2003 and a damn good one at that. (NM)" (01/2017)

Brooding and extremely backward, with sweet, penetrating flavors of cassis, black cherry and mint; a highly concentrated fruit bomb, with impressive thickness and depth. Still a bit tight on the back end; the tannins coat the teeth. Bodegas Mauro's Mariano García is a partner in this venture. 92+ (ST)" (09/2000)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Clos Solene "Hommage A Nos Pairs" Reserve Paso Robles Rhone Blend (95RP, 94VN, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A small step back from the stunning 2012, the 2013 Hommage A Nos Pairs Reserve is a Syrah-dominated cuvee that includes 4% Grenache and 2% Roussanne. Fermented and aged 17 months in 65% new French oak, this glass-stainer offers awesome notes of creme de cassis, crushed violets, peppered meat and licorice in a full-bodied, ripe, rich, polished and perfectly balanced profile. Never over the top or clumsy in anyway, with a full mid-palate and fine tannin, it's offers immense pleasure today (like all of Guillaume's wines) yet will age gracefully on its balance, purity and concentration. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Rivers-Marie "Summa Old Vines" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95VN). Vinous: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Summa Old Vines opens with striking inner perfume. A nuanced, fragrant Pinot, the Summa Old exudes class, delineation and pedigree. One of the most lifted, gracious wine in this lineup, the Old Vines is absolutely captivating today. Bright red cherry, pomegranate, blood orange, mint, rose petal and exotic spices add to the wine's considerable allure. The Old Vines emerges from a site planted in 1978 with heritage clones. A subsequent planting added rows of vines in between the original rows, but that fruit has yet to go into either of the Summa vineyard-designate Pinots. (AG)" (02/2016)

2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (95RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The more powerful side of the Santa Cruz Mountains comes through in the 2010 Pinot Noir Home Vineyard. Massive, incisive tannins frame black fruit, savory herbs and tar, in a sort of California version of Bonnes-Mares, with vertical tannins and great overall balance. I suppose the 2010 Home might lack just a touch of finesse, but it makes up for that with its compelling and deeply expressive personality. This is the first vintage that includes predominantly young vines from a recent replanting. It will be interesting to see how this site responds in future vintages, but I have to think the direction is pretty clear. (AG)" (08/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Piranha Waterdance" California Syrah (100RP, 99JD, (95-97VN), 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Blended of 81% Syrah, 8% Petite Sirah, 6% Mourvèdre, 4% Touriga Nacional and 1% Graciano, sourced from 34% The Third Twin, 35% Eleven Confessions and 31% Cumulus (all estate vineyards), the provocative, inky purple colored 2014 Syrah Piranha Waterdance was made using 26% whole cluster and hits the scent scene with exuberant, pure crème de cassis, blackberry cordial and blueberry coulis notes with hints of espresso, licorice, garrigue and menthol, plus a gorgeous underlying perfume of red roses. The full-bodied palate is oh-so-elegant and pretty, revealing very finely pixelated tannins that beautifully frame the almost electric intensity, culminating in an epically long, licorice and chocolate-laced finish. Too stunning for mere words and rude to even try--just drink it. (LPB)" (09/2017)

Perfumed, nuanced and complex, this held up wonderfully over the course of dinner and even gained intensity with air. 2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96VN, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Teasing the taster with a possible three-digit perfection is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. This beauty shows lots of creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, spring flower and forest floor notes in an opulent, full-bodied, powerful, dense, rich style buttressed by significant ripe tannins and decent acidity. Again, the striking purity and singular character of this Bryant Cabernet Sauvignon oozes potential as well as pedigree. This spectacular, young Cabernet should turn out to be one of the all-time great Bryant Cabernet Sauvignons, rivaling their 1997, but slightly more structured. Floral notes mixed with blackberry, cassis, plum, licorice and spring flowers soar from the glass of this dense ruby/purple wine. It is medium to full-bodied, surprisingly opulent (it has a big percentage of Merlot), long, multi-dimensional and textured. In the mouth, this dense, medium to full-bodied, highly concentrated wine also possesses loads of round, sweet tannins. This is one 1990 that will require patience. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1981 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (92JG). John Gilman: "For drinking at the present time, it is hard not to love the more middleweight vintage of 1981 at Pichon-Lalande. The wine is at its absolute apogee of peak drinkability at the present time, wafting from the glass in a beautiful and quite classic aromatic blend of sweet cassis, cigar wrapper, gravelly soil tones, a touch of chipotle pepper, cigar ash and a whisper of merlot-derived sweet herb in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, fullish and utterly suave on the attack, with a fine core, lovely focus and grip, melting tannins and impeccable balance on the long and complex finish. A lovely vintage of Pichon. (Drink between 2016-2035) " (07/2016)

2013 Sine Qua Non "Female" California Grenache
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Female" California Grenache (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Manfred's 2013 Grenache Female checks in as a blend of 78% Grenache, 19% Syrah and 3% Mourvèdre that is mostly from his Eleven Confessions estate vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, yet has smaller portions from his Cumulus, The Third Twin and Bien Nacido vineyards. Seeing just over 24 months in a mix of demi-muids, 300-liter Hog Heads and barrique, it has a sensational bouquet of spring flowers, black raspberries, black cherries, violets, licorice and camphor. Reminding me of a great vintage of Raymond Usseglio's Cuvée Imperiale, this full-bodied, elegant Grenache is impeccably balanced, has a full and layered mid-palate (which is missing from just about every other Grenache made in California), and sweet tannin on the finish. It's almost impervious to air and didn't budge an inch over the three days I followed this bottle. It will cruise for over two decades. (JD)" (05/20

2012 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94RP, 92VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is in essence a second wine, but it sure doesn’t taste like one. Its deep purple color is followed by pure black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, dusty, loamy soil notes, extraordinary depth of fruit, ripeness and good acidity. This opulent, round beauty is ideal for drinking over the next decade or more. One of the classic wines of Napa Valley, Scarecrow’s Cabernet Sauvignons are made by well-known winemaking consultant Celia Welch. This historic vineyard in Rutherford, which owns some of the oldest vines in all of Napa, continues to turn out some of Napa’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons. (RP)" (10/2014)

2014 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97JD, 97VN, 95JS, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Vecina displays a deep garnet-purple color and has a broody, baked blueberries, cassis and anise-laced nose with suggestions of garrigue, dusty earth and bay leaves. Full-bodied, rich, spicy and powerful in the mouth, it offers a lot of latent layers and promises great, great things to come with an incredibly long, layered finish. It needs a bit of time but should cellar beautifully for a good 25 years+. (LPB) 98+ " (10/2017)

1993 Domaine Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Amoureuses"
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Amoureuses" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Bright cherry fruit that is clearly maturing and cut with plenty of spice is followed by sweet, nicely complex flavors that offer fine length. This is really quite pretty and delivers solid quality and length and while there is a bit of oak char on the nose, it is less obvious than it usually is. " (04/2006)

1996 Dominus Napa Valley Proprietary Red (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1996 Dominus Napa Valley Proprietary Red (1.5L) (95RP, 94JS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Dominus, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot, tips the scales at 14.2% alcohol. Although this offering lacks the power, intensity, and compelling characteristics of the 1991 and 1994, it is not far off the pace of those two monumental wines. A super nose of roasted coffee, chocolate, dried herbs, black fruits and kirsch is both intense and persuasive. The wine displays terrific richness, medium to full body, low acidity, a succulent, opulent texture, and superb purity. This beautifully made 1996 is one of the few wines that has successfully tamed the vintage's elevated tannin level. It should be relatively drinkable upon its release, yet evolve nicely for two decades. Impressive! (RP)" (12/1998)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Unquestionably the largest scaled and most concentrated in the lineup, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is a deep, unctuous, yet incredibly elegant beauty that does everything right. Its inky purple color is followed by heavenly notes of crème de cassis, blueberry liqueur, burning embers and dark chocolate. It picks up a floral edge with time in the glass, has sensational depth and richness, and a seamless finish, all while playing in the more forward style of the vintage. Decanter: "Lifted spice and a head-spinning top note are joined by aromas of dark fruits, cassis and a touch of bright cherry mixed with woodland undergrowth. I love the ebullient personality of this wine - there's a crunchy, sappy green note to the juicy fruit which adds a counterpoint to the lush, velvety texture and creates a lovely, bright energy. It all comes together with an expressive exuberance. A wide-awake wine! Drinking Window 2018-2025. (SH)" (02/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Carlisle "Compagni Portis" Sonoma Valley White Blend. Lisa Perrotti-Brown writes: "From humble beginnings in 1998, Carlisle continues to go from strength to strength, growing from a solid philosophy of sourcing mainly Zinfandel and Rhône varieties from ancient vineyards in Sonoma and further afield. So, most of the vines used by Mike and Kendall Officer were planted from 1888 to 1934. From 2013, they have their own winery in which to create their magic—the old Robert Mueller winery in Russian River Valley."

1990 Gros Frère et Soeur Clos Vougeot "Musigni" Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Gros Frère et Soeur Clos Vougeot "Musigni" Grand Cru (93BH, 93RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 offerings are potentially Bernard Gros' finest and most classically made wines. The glories are the three super-expensive, limited edition grands crus. Students of Burgundy know that Bernard Gros' parcel of Clos de Vougeot, which is situated next to the grand cru Musigny in neighboring Chambolle-Musigny, probably has the finest exposition entire Clos. The 1990 is an exquisite wine. The dark ruby/purple color, huge, flowery, sweet, black-cherry aromas, and super-crammed, fabulously rich palate are the makings of Burgundy legends. There are tons of glycerin and alcohol, as well as moderate tannin levels in this super-rich, hedonistic wine. Despite its massiveness, it has excellent balance. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is huge, powerful and totally implosive. The seductive allure of the 2007 is nowhere to be found. Instead, the 2006 is built on a serious spine of formidable tannin and dark red/black fruit. Hints of tar, licorice, rose petals and tobacco inform the powerful, virile finish. The 2006 is going to require considerable patience, but it is clearly a jewel of a wine, even at this early stage. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2046. (AG)" (04/2012)
