1966 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1966 Latour, Pauillac (96JG, 96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1966 Latour remains an exemplar of the vintage, certainly one of the best, if not the best Left Bank wine of the vintage. Here, served blind, its quality was a beacon, quintessentially Pauillac with that trademark graphite seam through the intense black fruit, cold stone and a touch of tobacco. It remains undimmed by its age (though this was served from a magnum of impeccable provenance). The palate is medium-bodied and that graphite theme continues unabated, flanked by beautiful, precise and pure vestiges of black fruit. 'Pure class' are the final two words of my tasting note and at 50 years old, they sum up this immensely impressive Château Latour. (NM)" (10/2016)

2008 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 96WS, 94VN, 93RP) in original wood. James Suckling: "Like listening to cool mellow rock 'n' roll. Extraordinary aromas of violets and dark fruits such as blueberries and currants. I can't get over the aromas here. Then it goes to minerals with just a hint of bay leaf. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins with a beautiful softness and beautifulness. I love the balance and harmony to this with bright acidity. I would drink this before the 2007. Just under 1,000 cases of 12 but all sold in threes. Reminds me of Leoville Las Cases but with Napa brightness. Enjoy or hold for a long time." (06/2011)

2005 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2005 Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (1.5L) (96BH, 96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Seysses’ 2005 Clos de la Roche charts new territory in this collection for sheer intensity. Black cherry, kirsch distillate, cedar, incense, iron filings, wet stone, and roasted meats and coffee represent a few of the immediate aromatic suggestions forced on this taster. In the mouth, it is similarly compelling, with an eruption of clear black cherry, cassis, and meat juices, faintly bitter notes of fruit skin and pungent herbal and mineral notes adding complexity. The texture is incipiently velvety, imposingly glossy, and a perfect cover for fine, abundant tannins. Spectacularly rich and reverberative in its multifaceted finish, this sensational wine deserves at least a decade of rest before re-opening. (DS)" (06/2007)

2009 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 96WE, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also incredibly concentrated, with burly structure and a mountain of tannin, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard (99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot) delivers a seriously intense array of blackberry and kirsch-styled fruit, licorice, charcoal and spice box on both the nose and palate. Aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak and a big, broad shouldered, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, it possesses a rocking mid-palate and fabulous length on the finish. Really showing the power of its Red Mountain terroir, it needs 4-5 years of bottle age to become civilized and will have decades of evolution. Drink now through 2034. (JD)" (06/2013)

2013 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of course, it’s hard to find any, but there are usually about eight to 15 barrels of his estate Chardonnay from Coombsville called 'The Judge' in honor of his father. From old Wente clones originally planted in 1975, yields are rarely in excess of one ton of fruit per acre, which no doubt accounts for its extraordinary intensity and richness. The 2013 Chardonnay The Judge is perfect, and certainly one of the greatest Chardonnays I have ever tasted. Keeping in mind that Kongsgaard is no youngster at this game (2015 was his 41st vintage making wine), his 2013 The Judge, from the white volcanic soil in Coombsville called tufa, is an amazing wine of great intensity, power, glory, elegance, texture, density and richness. The wine offers up loads of tangerine oil, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, white peach, apricots, and wet stones. It seems to be a smorgasbord of a

2005 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A nose of black raspberries interwoven with floral notes of blackcurrants and spice jump from the glass of this dense ruby/plum/purple wine. This famous vineyard at the northern end of Napa Valley, which in this era was owned by Bart and Daphne Araujo (today owned by François Pinault, the proprietor of Château Latour), can certainly make the argument that it’s one of the first growths of Napa Valley. Sweet, velvety tannin, medium to full body, and extraordinary complexity and elegance characterize this wine, which is seamless and drinking beautifully. While not one of their longest-lived vintages, the balance and purity suggest that, while it may be entering its fully mature stage, it certainly can keep going for another 10-15 years. The finish is easily 40 seconds-plus. (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Gruaud Larose, St-Julien (94RP, 94W&S, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A very strong effort for Gruaud Larose, possibly eclipsed by what they have done in 2009, this is a pure, full-bodied Gruaud Larose with plenty of new saddle leather, cedar wood, black currants, cherries, licorice, and Provencal herbs. Spicy, earthy, full-bodied, and rich, it has hit its plateau of full maturity, where it should stay for another 20 or more years. (RP)" (06/2010)

1982 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1982 Margaux, Margaux (97JS, 97RP, 97VN, 92WS). Vinous: "The 1982 Château Margaux is a real stunner. An exotic, almost candied bouquet melds into sweet red-hued fruit in a voluptuous, racy Margaux endowed with magnificent purity. Large and ample on the palate, with silky tannins and translucent fruit, the 1982 is rich yet also miraculously seamless. All the elements are in the right place. I followed this bottle over several hours, during which it only improved. The 1982 won’t last forever, but it will deliver thrilling drinking for up to another decade. 1982 Brane-Cantenac, Margaux
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1982 Brane-Cantenac, Margaux (90VN, 90WS). Vinous: "The 1982 Brane-Cantenac was picked September 15 to October 1. It has a more conservative bouquet compared to the superior 1983, featuring black and red fruit, tobacco, mint and pressed flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, just a touch of dark chocolate infiltrating the black fruit on the entry. There is a dab of spice and white pepper toward the tertiary finish, which persists as you would expect in a great vintage. This is very fine, even if the 1983 Brane-Cantenac is better. Tasted at the Brane-Cantenac vertical at the château. (NM)" (01/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Marcassin "Blue Slide Ridge" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2009 Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge reminds me of one of the great vintages of the DRC Vosne-Romanee. Notes of forest floor, jammy raspberries, blueberries, boysenberries and spring flowers are followed by a full-bodied, textured, layered mouthfeel, and great intensity, precision and freshness. This stunning 2009 is already showing considerable complexity, and should age effortlessly for 10-15 years. It is a more brooding effort with aromas of earth, underbrush, truffle, Asian spices, incense, and blueberry. It is slightly more structured with a bit more density and richness. It is a quintessential offering from Lafite Rothschild. This prodigious wine is both elegant and intensely flavored, and almost diaphanous in its layers that unfold with no heaviness. An opaque ruby/purple color is accompanied by a complex bouquet of lead pencil, graphite, cedar, creme de cassis, toast, and vanilla. It is medium-bodied, with extravagant layers of richness yet little weight, and a finish that is all sweetness, ripeness, and harmony. Bid on this bottle of 1994 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This hedonistic Cabernet Sauvignon's saturated purple color is accompanied by an exuberant, sweet, enveloping fragrance of smoky new oak, and jammy blackberry and cassis fruit. In the mouth, this lavishly wooded, black fruit-filled Cabernet is extremely full-bodied, with superb levels of fruit, glycerin, and extract. Like many 1994 Cabernet Sauvignons, it possesses extraordinary equilibrium, with the sweet tannin giving the wine considerable accessibility. The finish lasts for nearly 30 seconds. 2013 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP, 95VN). Vinous: "One of the darker wines in the range, the 2013 Pinot Noir CIX Vineyard races across the palate in a compelling mélange of dark red and purplish stone fruits, graphite, wild cherries, new leather and smoke. The combination of Calera and Vosne-Romanée clones is magic here, as the CIX presents a super-intriguing interplay of intense fruit and structure influenced by this cool site in Forestville. 2016 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 95JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is still very tight and youthful, slowly unfurling to reveal a multifaceted wine with tons of black, blue and red fruit sparks—plums, cherries, black currants and red currants—with dark chocolate, cedar chest, black tea and red roses in the background plus wafts of pencil lead and prosciutto. Medium-bodied and firmly textured by superbly ripe, grainy tannins, it has a fantastic core of intense, complex layers, finishing on an edifying mineral note. Wow! (LPB)" (10/2018)

2011 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 90VN) in original wood. Vinous: "(14.8% alcohol; from a vineyard planted at an altitude of 2,100 feet): Bright ruby-red. Sexy oak complements but does not overwhelm aromas of medicinal black cherry, coffee, mocha, dark chocolate and licorice. Fat on entry, then sweet and juicy in the middle, with good intensity to the flavors of black and sour cherry and chocolate mint. Finishes long, with a lightly herbal quality nicely counterpointed by sweet mocha. With air, the fruit component faded into the background as a mineral element emerged. (ST)" (05/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100JD, (98-100RP), 97VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Lauren Estate delivers incredibly intense grapefruit essence, lemon peel and green apple notes with touches of nutmeg, fresh ginger, lightly browned toast, marzipan and smoky meat. The palate is built like a brick house with a solid line of refreshing acid framing the complex citrus and spice layers, finishing long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2017)

1976 Pétrus, Pomerol
Bid on this bottle of 1976 Pétrus, Pomerol. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1976 Petrus has been fully mature since it was released. The wine has always possessed intense aromas of over-ripe tomatoes, roasted vegetables, and red and black fruits touched by sweet toasty oak. It continues to be a pleasing, fat style of Petrus. 1974 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1974 Latour, Pauillac. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In this mediocre year of rather green, stalky, hollow wines, Latour produced one of the very best wines of the vintage. Still not fully mature, this dark ruby wine has good fruit, a medium body, surprising depth and ripeness for the vintage, and a sinewy, tannic finish. It avoids the telltale harshness and fruit deficiency found in so many 1974s. " (01/1998)

1978 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (OWC)
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 1978 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (OWC - 90RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1978 Las Cases has taken on a garnet hue with some dark ruby tints. The nose is more complex and penetrating than the flavors. The wine offers classic, mineral, lead pencil, smoky, earthy scents, with plenty of ripe fruit, and none of the vegetal herbaceousness that many 1978s have begun to exhibit. The attack offers good ripeness, medium to full body, higher acidity than many more recent vintages, and considerable tannin in the hard finish. Although this wine possesses outstanding complexity, the high tannin level may never fully melt away. (RP)" (10/1995)

Boysenberries, too. Full to medium body, ultra-fine tannins and lots of flavors of smoke, dried roasted chillis, black truffles, mushrooms and fruit. Bright acidity on the finish. Sexy and subtle austerity. Alluring. Very approachable now but better in 2021. *Top 100 of 2017*" (01/2017)

2017 Aubert "Powder House" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Aubert "Powder House" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((97-100RP), (98-99JS), 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The first vintage of this wine, the 2017 Chardonnay Powder House (a barrel sample) comes from eight acres of what are now estate vines planted in 2013, to Hyde Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones on Goldridge soils. The vineyard is located in downtown Forestville, right across from the high school. The aromas charge out of the gate exhibiting energetic ripe peach, grapefruit, green tea and sea spray notes with touches of candied orange peel, ginger ale and lemon butter. Full-bodied, very refreshing and beautifully creamy in the mouth, it has layer upon layer of citrus and spice flavors, finishing with amazing persistence. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((94-96RP), 94BH, 94ST, 93JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Chambertin Clos de Beze bursts with spicy red cherry aromas. This medium to full-bodied wine has an exceptionally spicy personality that is crammed with red licorice (Twizzlers), candied raspberries, Asian spices, and blackberries. Wonderfully focused and armed with substantial depth, this medium to full-bodied wine’s exceedingly long finish displays awesomely ripe tannin. (PR)" (06/2004)

2012 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 98JS, (95-97ST), 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Harlan Estate is reminiscent of their 2002. Probably a candidate for perfection with another 4-5 years of bottle age, the wine is inky plum/purple to the rim and offers a gorgeous nose of scorched earth, blackberry and cassis, forest floor, and a floral, lavender-like component followed by deep, opulent, majestic flavors that caress the palate with high but sweet tannin. This is relatively evolved, and supple and voluptuous for a young Harlan estate -- hence the comparison with their compelling 2002. This wine can be drunk in several years and is likely another candidate for 30-50 years of cellaring. (RP) 99+ " (10/2015)

It is low in acidity, and already delicious. (RP)" (04/2000)

2013 Cayuse "Impulsivo" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Cayuse "Impulsivo" Walla Walla Valley Tempranillo (97RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the wines of the vintage is the 2013 Impulsivo. Made from 100% Tempranillo and with only 214 cases made, it has incredible notes of bloody meats, cold fireplace, black cherries, currants and cedar. This gives way to a full-bodied, concentrated, structured 2013 that will benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring and drink well for a decade or more past that. Drink from 2021-2031. (JD) 97+" (06/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A brilliant wine, and one of the stars of the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection boasts aromas of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and white flowers. This full-bodied, velvety textured, delicious 2011 is already drinking well, and should continue to do so for 10-12 years. It is a terrific success for the vintage. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 95VN). Vinous: "A total knock-out, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate captures all the potential of this great site. Powerful, voluptuous and structured, yet very much within the context of classicism that has defined these wines for several decades. Dark red cherry, stone fruits, smoke, licorice and scorched earth, along with beams of tannin, wrap around the palate. Deep, virile and explosive, the 2014 is a must have. Don't miss it! Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne "Keefer Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96CG, 93ST, 92RP, 91WS, 90VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "We have lately come to the conclusion that the Keefer Ranch Vineyard just may be one of the best Pinot sites around, and Kosta Browne's 2012 version goes a long way in confirming our feelings. It is wonderfully rich in very pure and precise fruit with a lovely veneer of rich and wholly sympathetic oak, and its remarkable layering and striking palatal length make it a wine that compels sip after slow sip. Even though young, it is a brilliant wine of great reach and range, and it is an absolute keeper that we can comfortably predict will gain in beauty over the next half-dozen years. *Three Stars*" (07/2014)

2012 Drinkward Peschon "Entre Deux Mères" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Drinkward Peschon "Entre Deux Mères" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Entre-Deux-Mères is a classic take on Cabernet Sauvignon, never cheating the consumer on density, complexity or ageabilty. The 2012, as one might expect, is brilliant. About 740 cases were produced from a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. True to form, the wine has an opaque ruby/purple color and a beautiful nose of pen ink, graphite, blackcurrants, white chocolate and subtle background earth. Terrific fruit intensity, a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel, impressive purity and overall personality jump from the glass of this brilliant wine that is just beginning to drink well, which is in keeping with the personality of most 2012s. This is a beauty and fairly priced for such a great Cabernet from Napa Valley in a great vintage. (RP)" (10/2015)
