Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Elderton Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (93RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Shiraz performed splendidly. This opaque purple-colored wine offers up plenty of sweet blackberry and cassis fruit with a touch of overripe cherries, smoke, and charcoal. This multidimensional, layered, luscious, low acid, toasty Shiraz is made in an obvious, fat, hedonistic style. (RP)" (02/2000)
Starting Bid: $79.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Penfolds "Bin 707" Cabernet Sauvignon South Australia.
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Henschke "Hill of Grace" Shiraz Eden Valley South Australia (96JS, 94WS, 93RP, 92JH). James Suckling: "Excellent vintage. A spicy and fragrant nose, perhaps the cooler January at work here, plenty of sage also in the mix, very concentrated and slightly more discreet than the 1991 and 1990. The palate has impressive concentration and cut, really bright and crisp with decent tannin ripeness and a juicy, sturdy and assertive drive through the finish. A great expression of fragrant, Eden Valley Shiraz." (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Penfolds "Grange" Shiraz South Australia (97JH, 96WE, 95RP, 95WS, 92VN). James Halliday: "Medium to full red-purple, still bright after five years, vibrant cherry and plum fruit aromas more than handle the oak on the bouquet; the palate is sumptuous, but not heavy, the cherry and plum flavours tracking the bouquet. The wine has a very long finish, with fine, integrated tannins. Destined to become one of the great Granges. *Five Stars* " (07/2011)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005-2006 South Australia Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2005 Mollydooker "The Maitre D" Cabernet Sauvignon South Australia (92RP) and 1-bottle of 2006 Mitolo "Reiver" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (95JH, 94RP, 90WE, 90WS). Of the 2006 Mitolo "Reiver" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia,James Halliday writes: "A muscular wine, of great depth and power; the secret here is the delicacy of the oak handling for the fruit; the dark fruits are matched by red ones, and the core is intense and chewy, very long and surprisingly supple." (07/2008)
Starting Bid: $50.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Greenock Creek "Alices" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (98RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Shiraz “Alice’s Block” received the same 28 months in used American oak. The riveting nose of smoke, asphalt, earth, truffle, blackberry, and blueberry roars from the glass. Dense, packed, and opulent, it somehow is able to concurrently exhibit finesse and elegance. Amazingly pure and long in the finish, one’s first reaction is that it cannot get any better. Remarkably, it does. " (10/2007)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 & 2003 Henry's Drive Shiraz Padthaway South Australia Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2001 Henry's Drive "Reserve" Shiraz Padthaway South Australia (96RP, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2003 Henry's Drive Shiraz Padthaway South Australia (94RP, 90WS). Of the 2001 Henry's Drive "Reserve" Shiraz Padthaway South Australia,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Some might feel the 2001 Shiraz Reserve is too much of a good thing, but it is neither port-like, pruny, nor flat. It is simply crammed with concentrated blackberry and cassis fruit in an obvious but spectacularly textured style. It possesses considerable nuances. Loaded and thick, with low acidity and huge amounts of tannin, all concealed by lavish quantities of fruit and extract, this stunning wine can be drunk now, but should age effortlessly for 7-10 years, possibly longer. No one really knows for sure given the fact that these are young vines and moderately high tonnage. (RP) " (08/2003)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1997 Simon Hackett "Anthony's Reserve" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Shiraz, from 106-year old vines, offers explosive peppery, blackberry, and cassis aromas that segued into raspberry ice cream intermixed with pepper and spice. It provides a quintessential hedonistic drinking experience! (RP)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $53.00
