Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Pagani Ranch" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (91CG, 91VN). Vinous: "The 2012 Zinfandel Pagani Ranch wraps around the palate with silky, perfumed fruit and tons of varietal character. The late harvest in this cool, Sonoma Valley site yielded a ripe, intensely aromatic Zinfandel with notable persistence and sweet, suave tannins. As opposed to many other Ridge's other Sonoma wines, Pagani Ranch is predominantly Zinfandel, and that is exactly what comes through. (AG)" (07/2014)

Layered, sweet and sensual, the 2009 is laced with attractive scents of mocha, cloves and violets, all of which add complexity to the dark fruit. Bid on this bottle of 2016 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP, 97VN, 96WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just a magical wine any way you look at it, this deep purple-colored beauty reveals a heavenly bouquet of crème de cassis, camphor, purple iris, and violets. It’s full-bodied and massive, yet still just dances across the palate with no sensation of weight or heaviness. While it’s already hard to resist today (and don’t feel bad for drinking a bottle), it has the purity, balance, and structure to keep for 3-4 decades. Hats off to the brothers Alex and Graeme MacDonald for this legendary wine." (01/2019)

Of the 2010 Gramercy Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This classy Syrah opens with a note of pretty funkiness, wrapped around stiff, tight, rather herbal flavors. The berry flavor is ripe but in no way jammy. Here the emphasis is on nuance, earthiness and herbal details. *Cellar Selection* (PG) " (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95JD, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS, 93IWR). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2007 Esprit de Beaucastel is a blend of 44% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache, 21% Syrah, and the rest Counoise. A very great wine, very much in the mold of its French cousin, Chateau Beaucastel, the wine has a saturated ruby/purple color and a gorgeous nose of melted licorice, charcoal, blueberry, and blackberries intermixed with freshly sliced mushrooms, tree bark, and pepper. Spicy, dense, full-bodied, and extraordinarily complex, yet at the same time well-delineated and fresh, it should drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (08/2010)

Of the 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is striking. Powerful and dense in the glass, with utterly mesmerizing balance, the 2013 hits all the right spots. Graphite, smoke, grilled herbs, black cherries and incense form a tapestry of aromas and flavors that simply dazzles. The 2013 needs time in bottle for the tannins to soften, but it is a real head-turner. The combination of intense tannin and opulent fruit is classic 2013. (AG) 95+" (11/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Blend (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine is the 2014 La Proportion Dorée, a blend of 65% Semillon, 24% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle. This 650-case cuvée is from 29-year-old, dry farmed vines and was barrel-fermented. The wine is absolutely out of this world. With a light greenish gold color and a killer nose of lanolin, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, orange marmalade and candle wax, the wine displays great acidity, a magnificent, massive, full-bodied mouthfeel, and seems to come across like a Sonoma County version of a dry Haut Brion blanc. This is singular wine - profound, compelling, whatever! It should drink well for at least 10 years, if you can resist its early charms. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The incredible 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot treated identically to the Reserve Claret (40% new French oak aged in wood for 22 months prior to bottling). There are nearly 1,500 cases of this wine, with 60% coming from the Sonoma side and 40% from Napa. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the southeastern AVA Coombsville in the Vaca Mountains, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from white tufa and decomposed red volcanic sedimentary soils. For whatever reason, it seems that people who buy from this vineyard make better wine than the actual owners, which I'm sad to say, is not exactly what proprietors Tom and Frank Farella would like to hear. This is a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon made from clones 4 and 8, offering a rich nose of blackberries, dark earth, a touch of barrique, and some baking spices. The wine is rich, full-bodied, tannic and backward. Deep and super-concentrated, it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, but should last another 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Rudd "Oakville Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest Rudd Estate Proprietary Red Rudd has yet made is the 2008. A blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot and 14% Malbec, it offers up aromas of blue and black fruits, charcoal, white chocolate and flowers. The soaring aromatics are followed by a wine with fabulous concentration, a seamless integration of acidity, tannin, alcohol and wood, a brilliant texture, a fabulous personality and loads of complexity as well as full-bodied richness. This potentially legendary proprietary red already possesses remarkably sweet tannin. ... Bravo! (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Rhys "Alpine Hillside" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (1.5L) (96JG, 95RP, 94VN). John Gilman: "The 2014 Alpine Hillside bottling of pinot noir from Rhys Vineyards is once again my favorite of this absolutely stellar roster of 2014 pinots from this great Santa Cruz Mountain property. The wine offers up a marvelous nose of black plums, black cherries, espresso, woodsmoke, black minerality, fresh thyme and cedary wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and tightly-knit, with a marvelous core, great mineral drive, bright acids and outstanding length and grip on the ripely tannic and laser-like finish. At this point in its evolution, this does not seem quite as magical as the 2013, but this should not take away from the sheer brilliance this wine will deliver when it is fully mature. Drink between 2024-2060. 96+" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Reynvaan "In the Hills" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95JD, 94RP, 94WE, 92WS, 91VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a vineyard located near the estate and a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier that saw 25% stems, the deep purple-colored 2016 Syrah Estate In The Hills has a Côte Rôtie-like perfume of red and black raspberries, spring flowers, and smoky, meaty notes. It's softer and more sweetly fruited and sexy than the Rocks-driven Syrahs, has full-bodied richness, ripe tannins, and a beautiful finish." (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The original wine from the Oakville Estate Vineyard is a relatively small cuvée of 546 cases. The 2012 Proprietary Red Estate is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. This is a drop-dead beautiful wine with an absolutely extraordinary nose of white flowers, blueberries, blackcurrants, licorice and camphor. Stunning forest floor notes also make an appearance in this ripe, full-bodied, opulent wine that is begging to be given a three-digit score. The silkiness of the tannins and the stunning purity of fruit of this unfined and unfiltered wine is simply breathtaking. This is just an incredible effort to drink now or over the next 30+ years. (RP)" (10/2015)

A blend of 43% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc. " (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Pagani Ranch" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (93RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Zinfandel Pagani Ranch is another striking wine. It boasts fabulous depth yet at the same time maintains remarkable aromatic freshness and nuance. Dark cherries, flowers, mint and licorice flesh out on a beautifully articulated finish laced with persistent saline notes. This slightly cooler site was somewhat protected from the severe heat. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. (AG)" (08/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1987 William Hill "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "**#13 on the Top 100 Wines of 1990** A rich core of focused, concentrated currant, black cherry and plum flavors balances beautifully with finely integrated tannins, marking this as a potentially magnificent wine with cellaring until 1995 to 2000. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Rivers-Marie "Panek Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon ((96-98JD), 94VN). The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard offers an exotic, perfumed bouquet of blue fruits, violets, and blood orange, and it’s flamboyant and sexy on the palate, with its classic rich yet weightless style. It’s unquestionably a beautiful wine. " (01/2019)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard opens with seriously earthy notions of tilled black soil, mossy tree bark, morels and wet pebbles over a black-fruited core of cassis, freshly crushed blackberries and warm plums plus touches of unsmoked cigars and fallen leaves. Full-bodied and packed to the gills with complex mineral, earth and black fruit layers, it has a rock-solid structure of firm, ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long with a provocative spiciness coming through. Drink through 2050. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Syrah (95RP, 95VN, 93WS). Vinous: "Saturated dark red-ruby. Aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice are accented by dried herbs and mocha. Savory, tactile and highly concentrated, offering outstanding precision to its complex flavors of dark raspberry, licorice, flint, smoke, beef brisket and black olive. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 94DC). Vinous: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine, but it also needs a good hour or more of air for some of the initial signs of funkiness to blow off. As that happens, the 2005 reveals a core of intense, concentrated dark fruit to match its brooding personality. Leather, smoke, licorice and tobacco all add to an impression of inward power, and yet in the glass, the 2005 opens up beautifully to show notable density and layers of texture that still need time to fully emerge. Although I have had better bottles, this is certainly a very fine example. Readers lucky enough to own the 2005 can look forward to several decades of exceptional drinking from this powerhouse, old school Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (10/2018)

Vinous: "Stylistically, the 2009 Harlan Estate has quite a bit in common with the 2012, namely soft contours, plush fruit and tons of sheer immediacy. Now with a few years in bottle, the 2009 is just beginning to show the first signs of aromatic development. Deep, creamy and pliant, the 2009 can be enjoyed now, although it is sure to gain complexity over the next two decades. (AG)" (09/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Buccella "Mica" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The second label of Buccella, which was founded by the husband and wife team of Bill and Alicia Deem in 2002. Winery note: "We chose the name “Buccella,” which means “mouthful” in Latin, to evoke the big, bold, concentrated layers that make our wines so luxuriously flavorful. Even our logo, which was designed by UXUS, is inspired by the perfect mouthful, offering a contemporary take on the “tastevin,” a small silver cup traditionally used for wine tasting. Mica comes from the same vineyards as Buccella and is made with the same meticulous care as the Buccella wines. Mica is made from grapes which express more forward fruit, plush tannin, and freshness. Mica is a wine built for immediate enjoyment and medium-term aging."

Of the 2003 Keenan "Mernet Reserve" Spring Mountain District Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2003 Mernet exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with sweet, creamy cassis and floral notes that suggest high-elevation mountain vineyards. The palate is full-bodied, rich, youthful and surprisingly unevolved for a wine that is a decade in age. Crunchy acidity adds to the vibrancy of this big red, which appears to have two decades of positive evolution ahead of it. All five of these 2003s are extremely impressive. While I have not looked back at my notes from initial barrel and post

There were 773 cases produced of this wine, which exhibits a nearly opaque, ruby/purple color and a beautiful nose of blackberry, cassis, graphite and subtle earthiness. It is full-bodied, fresh, beautifully textured and opulent, with no hard edges. The tannins and acidity are present, but beautifully integrated, as is any oak. Especially impressive are the rich mid-palate and long, pure, gorgeously refined and textured finish. This is a winner that can be drunk now, or cellared for at least another

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S, 90DC). Wine & Spirits: "A classic Alexander Valley Cabernet, this is dark and cedary, and as smooth as velvet.
