Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Vaucrains" ((92-95BH), (91-94ST), 92RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Extract of cassis, earth, game and a certain animale character offer the nuance behind a nose of simply fabulous black fruit that introduces incredibly powerful, deep, broad, muscular and robust flavors that are vigorously structured, culminating in a chewy, long, almost implausibly complex finish. This is a stunning wine, combining breathtaking power, complexity and length into a harmonious whole. A great, great Vaucrains. *Outstanding*" (01/2004)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 95DC, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Rich, backwards, structured and massively concentrated, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon comes mostly from the Champoux Vineyard (also from Galitzine, Klipsun, Palengat and Tapteil) and is comprised of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot that spent 22 months in all new French oak. Offering up plenty of creme de cassis, coffee bean, toasted spice, pencil shavings and violet-like qualities on the nose, it has palate staining levels of extract and tannin that come through on the mid-palate and finish. Gorgeously full-bodied, layered and textured, with perfect balance... (JD) 98+" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $393.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2007 Sojourn "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95WS, 92CG). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully crafted, ripe and juicy, with richly flavored blackberry and wild berry, sweet cherry, floral, anise and subtle herbal sage touches that are full-bodied, complex and long on the finish. (JL)" (06/2009)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, 94ST, 94W&S, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beaucastel’s 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape has turned out even better out of bottle than I predicted. An inky/ruby/purple color is followed by a glorious nose of blue and black fruits, truffles, pen ink, licorice, and meat juices as well as glorious levels of acidity and sweet tannin, buttressing the fruit’s fabulous freshness and vibrancy. This full-bodied effort still displays considerable tannin, no doubt because of the relatively high Mourvedre content. (RP)" (10/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (96JS, 95WS, 94RP, 93JD, 93ST, 92VN). James Suckling: "Sweet tobacco and plum with hints of leather and cassis on the nose. Full bodied, with big velvety tannins and lots of fruit. Very rich and powerful, even chewy. Give this some time to mellow out. Pull the cork after 2016. " (03/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 de Lancellotti "Estate" Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir (93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: " On the lighter side, with transparency to the garnet color and gentle presence to the red plum, pear and floral flavors as they linger easily against polished tannins on the peppery finish. Has presence and persistence. (Web-2018)"
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (94WE, 93RP, 93ST, 92VN, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Deep and delicious, with an earth-driven nose that conveys quality. Chunky plum pervades the chewy, dark palate, which offers a gorgeous mouthfeel and admirable depth. Only on the finish do you get a slight hint of oak. Overall it’s entirely solid and very likable, but as good as it is, it’s not quite on the level of the ’98 or ’99, which were amazing. *Cellar Selection* (MS)" (11/2003)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 1958 Giuseppe Contratto Barolo. Contratto was founded in 1867 by Giuseppe Contratto and the winery is known as the oldest producer of sparkling wine in Italy (they also made red wines, obviously). In fact, the "Metodo Classico" 1919 Contratto Extra Brut was the first vintage sparkling wine ever made in the country. The winery has a long, distinguished history. At the turn of the 20th century, its wines were leaving Canelli for destinations all over the world (predominantly to royal houses), and Contratto was the personal supplier to the Vatican as well as to the Italian Royal Family. Awards and medals from international exhibitions and contests of the time emphasize why the name of Contratto has long been synonymous with prestige and quality.

Starting Bid: $1,500.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (97RP, 96JD, 93ST, 92VN, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Mouton Rothschild is deep garnet-brick in color with lovely crème de cassis, dried roses, hoisin and baking spice notes with underlying notions of dried cherries and mulberries plus touches of wood smoke, incense and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied and packed with rich fruit framed by firm, chewy tannins, it is stacked with complex, evolving flavors and finishes with incredibly long-lasting perfumed notes. According to winemaker Philippe Dhalluin, this needs about three hours of decanting at this stage. I simply love the place this wine is in right now, possessing plenty of mature, tertiary characters yet still sporting bags of fruit. (LPB)" (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2007 Cakebread "Reserve" Carneros Chardonnay. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Cakebread’s 2007 Chardonnay Reserve exhibits elegant citrus blossom, apricot, and pineapple notes in its fresh, medium-bodied, fruity personality. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97JD, 97RP, 97VN) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2017 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning. Seamless on the palate, with remarkable depth and richness, the 2017 has so much to offer. Black cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol build in a rich, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon that hits all the right notes. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well with only minimal cellaring. It is without question one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $1,351.90

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S, 91WE). Wine & Spirits: "Rob Davis blends this wine from gravelly benchland sites in Geyserville, as well as Cabernet vineyards higher up in the Alexander Valley hills. While the sources have evolved over the years, focusing on soils appropriate to Cabernet, his style remains consistent—a light, elegant wine with enough bottle maturity on release to turn the tannins toward silk. This late release in magnum is fragrant with red and black currant flavor, along with hints of tobacco. The tannins still hold some sharp edges, but the wine feels harmonious and integrated. Ready for filet mignon seared rare." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989-1990 Bordeaux Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1989 Du Moulin Rouge, Haut-Médoc and 1-bottle of 1990 Fourcas Loubaney, Listrac. Of the 1989 Du Moulin Rouge, Haut-Médoc,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 1989 is an immensely appealing, sweet, expansive, full-bodied, opulent wine that is crammed with delicious black-raspberry and blackcurrant fruit. The overall impression is one of an unctuous, fleshy quality. (RP)" (02/1993)
Starting Bid: $52.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 10,200 cases of the remarkable 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. Opaque purple-colored with a dense, chewy, full-bodied personality, it displays abundant cassis, mineral, and earth notes. This brilliantly made, super-concentrated, pure, blockbuster possesses sweet tannin as well as a terrific finish. Having added additional weight since last year, this sumptuous, multilayered, profoundly concentrated Cabernet contains 14% alcohol. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Boroli "Villero" Barolo Riserva (93RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Barolo Villero lives up to the important reputation of this cru in Castiglione Falletto. Floral and spicy on the nose, very open, expressive, and potent on the aromatic development, its powerful plum, vanilla, coconut, and tar flavors are concentrated, richly extracted, smoky and sweet, very round and voluptuous on the long, sustained finish. I would prefer to wait a bit to allow the wine to absorb some of its oak – it will still be drinking well in 2025. (DT)" (10/2003)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Tyler "Sanford & Benedict Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir.
Starting Bid: $42.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP, 93WS, 91CG). Vinous: "Dark, bright ruby-red, showing virtually no evolution at the rim. The nose offers complex, musky scents of dark plum, mocha and graphite, plus a suggestion of tobacco. At once compellingly generous, shapely and firm, this seamless wine is remarkably balanced for its extreme growing season, offering sound framing acidity and beautifully incorporated oak. The explosive finish deliver terrific energy and harmonious tannins. This gives pleasure now but should evolve in bottle for another 15 to 20 years. Incidentally, this was the first Georges de Latour made in Beaulieu's new dedicated facility. (ST)" (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Of the 2006 Carlisle "Papa's Block" Russian River Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An absolutely amazing Syrah is the 2006 Syrah Papa’s Block in Russian River. From a vineyard called Atoosa, this full-bodied wine is limited in production, but boasts fabulous notes of graphite, blackberry, spring flowers, and creme de cassis with some scorched earth and spice in the background. Incredibly rich in fruit, dense and full, this is a stunner. It should drink well for at least a decade. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (95RP, 93JS, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The spectacular 2003 Pontet Canet is still incredibly young and vigorous. This full-bodied classic boasts a dense purple color as well as a superb nose of graphite, creme de cassis, forest floor, licorice and a hint of truffles, low acidity, and extravagant richness. Most of the tannins have been resolved in this superstar of the vintage. It should continue to drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP) 95+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Perrot-Minot Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru "La Riotte" ((90-92BH), (90-92VN)). Vinous: "The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru offers lucid red cherry, crushed strawberry and blood orange on the nose, coming across quite vibrant and almost Chambolle-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. This is not a deep or powerful wine and might need more grip, but I appreciate the balance and refinement on the finish.(NM)" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JS, 94JD, 91VN). James Suckling: "Beautiful blueberries and violets with tar and spice. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a delicious finish. Complex flavors of blackberries and flowers at the finish. So delicious. Merlot with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. " (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1999 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (92VN). Vinous: "The 1999 Cos d’Estournel has a well-defined bouquet that takes a few swirls of the glass to get going. It is not complex or vigorous, yet nicely detailed. Melted tar and cigar humidor infuse the black fruit, becoming earthier with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine line of acidity. This feels quite masculine and structured, and very fresh and linear. A light fish oil note tinctures the tarry black fruit toward the finish. This exudes Saint-Estèphe character and is drinking perfectly now. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at the estate. (NM)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Grand Corbin-Despagne, St-Emilion (90RP, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This has been a property to watch since the late nineties. All of the recent vintages have represented a relatively virile, muscular, tannic style of St.-Emilion. The black/purple-colored 2000 is a sleeper of the vintage. Revealing aromas of plum, wood smoke, iron, blackberries, licorice, underbrush, and cassis, this full-bodied, layered, powerful, muscular St.-Emilion has some tannin to shed, but its finish reveals considerable persistence. It is a strong, virile, broodingly impressive effort. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2018." (04/2003)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 & 2009 Charles Smith Columbia Valley Syrah Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of the 2007 Charles Smith Wines "Heart" Royal Slope Columbia Valley Syrah and 1-bottle of the 2009 Charles Smith "Royal City - Stoneridge Vineyard" Columbia Valley Syrah. Of the 2007 Charles Smith Wines "Heart" Royal Slope Columbia Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The Charles Smith wines begin with the 2007 Heart Syrah sourced from the Stone Ridge Vineyard in the Royal Slope. It was aged entirely in neutral oak. Earth, underbrush, truffle, brier, game, bacon, and blueberry aromas lead to a loaded, super-rich, unctuous, full-bodied Syrah. Mouth-filling, already complex, and multi-dimensional, it has exceptional length and impeccable balance. Give it 3-4 years to become a bit more civilized and enjoy it from 2014 to 2027. " (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 Schrader Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Horizontal (OWC) (OWC), including 1-bottle of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96JS, 96RP), 2-bottles of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, (95-96JS), 95RP), and 2-bottles of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96JS, 95RP). Of the 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Another wine in the running for the wine of the vintage is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard CCS, which, as always, is all Cabernet aged in new Darnajou barrels. This full-bodied, magical 2017 has incredibly polished, silky tannins as well as a mammoth-sized texture and mouthfeel. Loaded with notions of blueberries, white flowers, graphite, candied violets, and incense, it’s one of those wines that carries incredible richness and depth y
Starting Bid: $880.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1988 Joseph Drouhin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (94VN). Vinous: "The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, still replete with the transparency and tension I have remarked on before. Maybe there is a little more dryness towards the finish indicating that it should be consumed in the near future. (NM)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Deux Grenouilles" White Blend (97JD, 94RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Deux Grenouilles is another brilliant white from this estate. Based on 36% Roussanne, 29% Chardonnay, 23% Viognier, and the balance Petite Manseng and Muscat, brought up 48% new French oak (the balance is in neutral oak and concrete eggs). This rich, full-bodied, incredibly elegant white offers up a smorgasbord of buttered citrus, orange blossom, flower oil, and honeyed minerality. Despite being a full-bodied, powerful wine, it stays fresh and graceful, with terrific freshness and acidity. It needs a decant if drinking any time soon and should keep for a decade or more." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). John Gilman: "This was the first time that I had the pleasure to taste the 1998 vintage of Martha’s Vineyard and the wine is excellent. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a ripe and classic constellation of sappy cherries, blood orange, a touch of red currant, eucalyptus, a fine base of soil, cedar and fine spicy complexity in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and now nicely open for business as it closes on its twentieth birthday, with a superb core, impeccable balance and a very long, complex and moderately tannic finish. A classic in the making. (Drink between 2020-2060) 94+" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014-2015 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2014 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 96RP, 95VN, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Saxum "Terry Hoage" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 96VN, 94JD, 91WS). Of the 2014 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A similar blend to the 2015, the 2014 Terry Hoage Vineyard (48% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 22% Mourvèdre) is a deeper, richer wine that offers sensational notes of blackberries, currants, pepper, crushed violets and hints of graphite. Deep, rich and layered, yet light on its feet as well as elegant and graceful, this sensational 2014 has sweet tannin, good acidity and a big finish. Give bottles a year or two (it’s great today as well) and enjoy through 2028. " (08/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (99WS, 97RP, 94VN). Wine Spectator: "Gorgeous, offering layers of rich, plush, dark berry, plum, blackberry, kirsch and fig paste, woven together with green olive and melted licorice. Full-blown, yet for all its depth and density it glides along on a smooth, tapered finish. (JL, Web Only-2011)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97JS, 97RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Sugar Shack Estate is pure honeyed apricots and beeswax with suggestions of bread, salted almonds, croissant and a touch of aniseed. It is full-bodied, rich, intense, lifted, fresh and really well structured with a solid backbone, finishing long and sleek with some minerals. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of Rare Wine Co. "Historic Series - George Washington Special Reserve" Madeira. The Rare Wine Company is widely known as a definitive source some of the world's most famous and finest Madeiras. Part of their estimable line-up includes a range of bottlings paying tribute to America's Founding Fathers. This particular iteration honors none other than George Washington and his affinity (obsession may be too strong a word, but not by much) for decadent, richly styled Madeiras. Winemaker Ricardo Freitas set out to capture Washington's preferred style by using a foundation of 10-20 year old wines with a good number of much, much older vintages blended in to achieve the characteristic elegant and robust profile of the Madeiras of Washington's day. In terms of sweetness, this wine falls in the range of a classic Bual, but the older vintages give it plenty of acidic structure and sweetness. Very presidential, indeed.
Starting Bid: $213.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Latour, Pauillac (96WS, 93VN, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "So minty, with loads of subtle ripe fruit and eucalyptus undertones. Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and a long, long finish. Caresses every inch of the palate. It's the quality of the tannins that's impressive here. What a great and beautiful wine. Should improve for many years to come. (JS, Web-2009)"
Starting Bid: $801.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac (100RP, 98JS, 97WE, 96VN, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Lafite Rothschild comes as close to perfection as any of the great Lafites made over the past three decades (1982, 1986, 1996, 2000, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010). This sensational effort came in at 12.7% natural alcohol, it is made in the style of one of this estate’s great classics, the 1959. Composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color to the rim along with a luxurious bouquet of cedarwood, lead pencil shaving, white chocolate, cocoa and cassis. Fat, rich, opulent and full-bodied with low acidity and stunning seductiveness and complexity, this noble wine possesses a bountiful, generous, heady style. It is just coming into its plateau of maturity where it should hold for 20-25 years. This is one of the candidates for the wine of the vintage – make no mistake about that.
Starting Bid: $2,090.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1977 Dow's Vintage Port (97JS, 93RP, 92WS). James Suckling: "This is really glorious and refined, offering a polished and creamy texture. Complex aromas and flavors with cream, dried fruit and nuts. Medium body. Very beautiful. A refined and glorious 1977 now. Real deal. " (01/2017)

Of the 2010 Gramercy Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This classy Syrah opens with a note of pretty funkiness, wrapped around stiff, tight, rather herbal flavors. The berry flavor is ripe but in no way jammy. Here the emphasis is on nuance, earthiness and herbal details. *Cellar Selection* (PG) " (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95JD, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS, 93IWR). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2007 Esprit de Beaucastel is a blend of 44% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache, 21% Syrah, and the rest Counoise. A very great wine, very much in the mold of its French cousin, Chateau Beaucastel, the wine has a saturated ruby/purple color and a gorgeous nose of melted licorice, charcoal, blueberry, and blackberries intermixed with freshly sliced mushrooms, tree bark, and pepper. Spicy, dense, full-bodied, and extraordinarily complex, yet at the same time well-delineated and fresh, it should drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 92JS) and 1-bottle of 2013 Familiar Air Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP). Of the 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is striking. Powerful and dense in the glass, with utterly mesmerizing balance, the 2013 hits all the right spots. Graphite, smoke, grilled herbs, black cherries and incense form a tapestry of aromas and flavors that simply dazzles. The 2013 needs time in bottle for the tannins to soften, but it is a real head-turner. The combination of intense tannin and opulent fruit is classic 2013. (AG) 95+" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Blend (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine is the 2014 La Proportion Dorée, a blend of 65% Semillon, 24% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle. This 650-case cuvée is from 29-year-old, dry farmed vines and was barrel-fermented. The wine is absolutely out of this world. With a light greenish gold color and a killer nose of lanolin, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, orange marmalade and candle wax, the wine displays great acidity, a magnificent, massive, full-bodied mouthfeel, and seems to come across like a Sonoma County version of a dry Haut Brion blanc. This is singular wine - profound, compelling, whatever! It should drink well for at least 10 years, if you can resist its early charms. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 To Kalon Vineyard Co. "Highest Beauty" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 97JD, 97WS). James Suckling: "This pure cabernet sauvignon is the real deal with redcurrant and terracotta character on both the nose and palate. It’s full-bodied, yet really reserved and ultra-refined. The quality of the tannins is super with such fine grain, yet it continues on for minutes. This is the first release and it shows beautiful classicism. Shows the essence of the place. Needs four or five years to come around. Try after 2023." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro (95RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Tinto (Vale d. Maria), i.e, the flagship estate wine from the Quinta, is an old vines (65 years) field blend. Approximately three-fourths of the juice was fermented in tank, the rest in lagares. Then transferred to barrel, two thirds of the juice was aged in new French oak for 21 months, the other third in a mixture of second and third pass oak. It is listed at 15% alcohol. Tightly wound, a bit brooding and powerful this year, this is a big boy in terms of structure, showing astringency on the finish, yet it seems also to show fine balance overall, managing to project some elegance, notwithstanding its underlying power. The graceful mid-palate is beautifully constructed, not jammy or thick, but still concentrated. It has a persistent finish. Beneath the oaky overlay, there is fine fruit as well as that impressive structure. This promises to be exceptional if you have a lit
Starting Bid: $267.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Georges Vernay Côte Rôtie "Blonde du Seigneur" (93JS, 93VN, 92WS, 90RP). Vinous: "Bright violet. Focused, high-pitched black raspberry and floral scents are complemented by suggestions of smoky minerals and Asian spices. Juicy and energetic on the palate; alluringly sweet red and dark berry liqueur flavors are given zesty lift and spine by tangy acidity and a repeating mineral note. Smooth, slow-building tannins shape the impressively persistent, spice-tinged finish. This elegant wine should be approachable on the young-ish side but has the depth and balance to age. Bid on this bottle of 2001 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Only 450 cases were made of this blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc from former proprietor Jean Phillips’ vineyards just south of the Oakville crossroads. The spectacular dense blue/purple color remains opaque. The wine displays the hallmark creme de cassis, floral and licorice notes that are so pure, vivid and intense, and which have always been part of this vineyard’s classic trademark. With great purity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and even more thickness, power and density than I remember, this wine has put on weight, developed more structure, and looks like a candidate for 30 more years of aging potential. This is a brilliant wine, much in keeping with the legendary status of this producer. (RP)" (06/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Le Corton Grand Cru ((94-96JS), (93-95BH), (92-95VN), (91-93RP)). James Suckling: "The chalky and stony notes are intermingled with pastry and red to dark cherries, all leading to a palate that shows good acidity, impressive depth and weight of tannins. A cool vintage expression with more intensity at the finish. This will age very well. Try from 2024." (02/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94JD, 93RP, 92JS, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "While it’s easy to think of the appellation blends as being the entry-level cuvées, with the quality always being higher with the single vineyard release, don’t make that mistake. The appellation blends can often surpass single vineyard releases and, in my experience, can age just as gracefully. The 2016 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is a beautiful wine well worth your time and money. Offering classic cherry and framboise fruit, complex spice, forest floor, and rose garden nuances, medium body, and a seamless, savory personality, it’s going to keep for 8-9 years." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $190.00
