Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Dominique Laurent Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Saint-Georges" ((92-95RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Laurent jokingly refers to his out-of-this world Nuits-St.-Georges Les St. Georges as his 'Michel Bettane cuvee' because it possesses all the components he believes Bettane wants to see in a wine. Medium-to-dark ruby-colored, it reveals raspberries and Bing cherries in its lively, perfumed nose and a sublime, medium-to-full-bodied flavor profile composed of super-ripe, chewy red fruits, violets and Asian spices. (PR)" (06/1997)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 & 1987 Sauternes & Savennières Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1985 Rieussec, Sauternes and 1-bottle of 1987 Nicolas Joly "Coulée de Serrant" Savennières . Of the 1985 Rieussec, Sauternes,For several generations, Château Rieussec has been a leading name in Sauternes wines. As early as 1868, Charles Cocks remarked that "Beyond any of the others, Rieussec produces wines that are very similar to Yquem wines."

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "A silky entry is just the beginning of this elegant, rich and densely flavored effort. The tannins make their presence felt on the finish amid a wave of dark berry and spicy oak. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 96VN, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 IX Estate is composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Opaque purple-black colored, the nose is quite closed and shy to begin, slowly unfurling to reveal freshly crushed blackberries, mulberries and blackcurrants plus suggestions of dusty soil, bouquet garni, pencil lead and cast-iron pan with gentle wafts of sandalwood, cardamom, rare beef and black tea. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house, strutting incredibly ripe yet super firm tannins, and it has lovely, uplifting freshness to help define all those black fruit and savory layers, finishing with epic length. Needs time, but this should turn out to be incredibly nuanced and long lived! (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $3,000.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Kapcsandy "Roberta’s Reserve - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another wine that flirts with perfection is the 100% Merlot 2016 Roberta's Reserve, which was harvested at the end of September and spent 20 months in 70% new barrels. I finished my note on this wine with "Best Merlot in the New World," and I can't think of another wine that comes close to the layered, balanced, majestic style of this beauty. Offering up a kaleidoscope of black cherries, damp earth, chocolate, cedarwood, and spring flowers, it's full-bodied and rich, yet just glides over the palate with a seamless, elegant, pure style that needs to be tasted to be believed. As with all the Kapcsandy wines, it has the purity and balance to offer pleasure in its youth yet is going to evolve beautifully." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Hundred Acre "Precious" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Precious has a medium garnet color and nose of earth, tea, unsmoked cigars and fragrant soil with red and black currants. Full, firm, grainy and wonderfully savory, it finishes long and earthy. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Frédéric Magnien Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright medium red. Sweet, seductive nose melds raspberry, smoky underbrush, pungent minerality and sexy oak tones. Silky-sweet and lush, with a downright seamless quality to the palate-saturating red fruit, earth, spice and mineral flavors. As plush as this is, it maintains a light touch straight through to the long finish. (ST)" (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Seven Stones Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon gives beautiful crushed red and black currants, blackberry compote and wild blueberries scents with touches of menthol, cigar box and fertile loam plus a waft of wild sage. Full-bodied and firm, with bags of savory and earthy layers, it's framed by a rock-solid structure, finishing very long. (LPB) 98+" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $355.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 La Lagune, Haut-Médoc (96JS, 93DC, 92VN, 91RP). James Suckling: "Fabulous aromas of licorice, flowers and blackcurrants follow through to a full body with wonderful silky and caressing tannins and a long, flavorful finish. It’s complex and exceptional. " (03/2015)
Starting Bid: $172.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (100JD, 97WS, 96RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the greatest GSM blends to ever come out of California is the 2016 James Berry Vineyard, which is 55% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 13% Syrah, and 8% Counoise. This sensational wine reminds me of the 2016 Mon Aïeul from Pierre Usseglio with its awesome perfume of sweet blackberry and cassis fruits, smoke meats, exotic spice, licorice, and garrigue-like aromas and flavors. Deep, rich and layered on the palate, with a massive core of sweet fruit, this beauty builds with time in the glass and has incredible purity of fruit, a mix of richness and elegance that's hard to describe, sweet tannins, and a huge finish. It's every bit as impressive as the 2007 was on release. Hats off to Justin Smith for this incredible wine! I finished my note with “the greatest GSM blend from California, ever.”" (11/2018)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Outpost Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon gives up notions of cassis, blackberries, black cherries and plums with touches of pepper, aniseed, sage and tilled soil plus a hint of cedar chest. Medium to full-bodied, taut and firmly structured, it has a lively backbone lifting the muscular fruit, finishing on a savory/mineral note. (LPB)" (12/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Reynvaan "Stonessence" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95WS, 94RP, 93VN). Wine Spectator: "Supple, plush and inviting, offering a harmonious chorus of cherry, floral, black olive and savory spice flavors, mingling effortlessly on a polished frame and lingering with persistence against velvety tannins. (HS)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Peter Michael "Au Paradis" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 96WS, 95RP). James Suckling: "A relatively new addition to the Peter Michael range and made from a single vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley. Phenomenal aromas of dust, rust, blackberry, currants and dried berries. Spices such as nutmeg and cloves too. Stunning." (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 La Rioja Alta "904" Gran Reserva Rioja (96RP, 96WE, 95JS, 94VN, 93W&S, 92WS, 90DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Gran Reserva 904 is a superb blend of Tempranillo from the villages of Briñas, Labastida and Villalba with 10% Graciano from Briones and Rodezno. The grapes were destemmed and crushed and fermented in stainless steel for 18 days at 25 C. Malolactic fermentation was spontaneous and lasted 38 days. These wines are marked by a long aging in used American oak barrels following the most strict Riojan tradition; four years during which time the wine was manually racked eight times. This is usually my favorite wine from La Rioja Alta and 2005 is one of its best showings, going back to the quality of the vintages of the 1950s and 60s. The nose is very balsamic with notes of camphor, hints of mint, leather and hung game wrapped around a core of cherries in liqueur. Together it is balanced, subtle, truly elegant and classical. The palate is

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Fuées" (94RP, 94VN, 93JG, 91BH). Vinous: "The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has a very refined bouquet, quite sensual in style with intense red cherries and wild strawberry fruit infused with minerals. This is just pure class - as good as you will find from this vineyard. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity, and very cohesive. A very elegant and refined finish. Simply one of the finest Fuées the Domaine has ever made. (NM)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1994 Domaine La Casenove Côtes du Roussillon. From David Schildknecht for the Wine Advocate: "Ex-photo journalist Etienne Montes keeps innovating despite his veteran status, as witness his new white blend reviewed here. And with the youngest vines (Syrah) on his more than hundred acre property south of Perpignan having passed their first decade, he will no doubt be adjusting his palette to accommodate their fruit’s increasing usefulness. What hasn’t changed here is not just Montes’ searching quality-consciousness but also his determination to give each wine the elevage he thinks it deserves, and even after bottling not to release any wine until he thinks is best for it, even when that might seem surprisingly late."
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 96RP, 96WS, 95ST). James Suckling: "I am speechless. I love the pure aromas of currants, blackberries, minerals and mint -- eucalyptus too. Full body yet so refined and beautiful. Subtle complexity. Great length. Give it two or three years to come together, but hard to hold back." (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $575.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Baked cranberry, cherry, clove, vanilla bean and mossy earth show on the nose of this always much anticipated bottling from the region's first cult producer. The palate is tangy with rounded black-plum, star anise and black-peppercorn flavors. It's excellent now, but those tart elements will find more integration with patience. Drink 2019–2035. *Cellar Selection* (MK)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2010 & 2012 Chakana "Estate" Malbec Mendoza Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2010 Chakana "Estate" Malbec Mendoza (93RP) and 6-bottles of 2012 Chakana "Estate Selection" Malbec Mendoza (92RP, 90ST, 90VN). Of the 2010 Chakana "Estate" Malbec Mendoza,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Estate Selection seems even better, perhaps because it’s had an extra year of bottle age. The silky tannins, sweet red and black fruits, and the big, perfumed nose of black fruits, flowers and white chocolate are followed by a full-bodied, remarkably concentrated wine that is a steal at this price point. Both of these should drink well for 5-6 years. (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. (AG) 96+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Morlet "Mon Chevalier" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 92RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier emerges from a site in Knights Valley, an area Luc Morlet knows well from his time at Peter Michael. Graphite, smoke, game, licorice, black cherry and plum - all signatures of this fabled sector of Sonoma County - come through loud and clear. Beams of supporting tannin and acidity give the wine its structural backbone. Powerful and searing in the glass, the 2012 is going to need a few years to come into its own. (AG)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99JD, 97WE, 96VN, 95JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored with a mind-blowingly gorgeous nose that defies words: warm cassis, red roses, sandalwood, Indian spices, crushed rocks, menthol and iron ore with waft of lilacs and truffles. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of super-ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, it finishes incredibly long and remains incredibly provocative. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1975 & 1979 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1975 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (91DC, 90RP) and 1-bottle of 1979 Lynch Bages, Pauillac . Of the 1975 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac,Decanter writes: "Jean-Michel Cazes’ third vintage, and his records of the harvest note excellent weather conditions almost every day up in Pauillac. Harvest of Merlot began at Lynch Bages on September 25 (it had been expected to start on the 29th until the rains fell) and lasted until October 12th (a Sunday when Cazes described the fermentations as going ‘very very well’). Only one or two vats needed chaptilisation because natural sugar levels were so high. On the nose, a touch of band aid suggests brett, but this soon clears and the wine is full of life. Tomato leaf on the attack, the mid palate has a seam of cassis and there is lovely menthol on the finish. This tasting was in bottle, and I followed it with a tasting from magnum a week later. The magnum had held up far b
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Light gold in color, with an extraordinary nose of poached pears, citrus honey and a touch of orange rind, the 2009 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard has beautiful fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel, penetrating acids and an underlying minerality and richness. The finish goes on for a good 40-45 seconds. This is sensational Chardonnay and very much in keeping with this vineyard. (RP)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $653.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Château Boswell "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Boswell was founded in 1979, with the aid of Napa's foremost oenological consultant of the era, André Tschelistcheff. Boswell's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has a limited production annually of a few hundred cases, and is produced from two small, organically grown vineyards on a steep hillside around and above the estate's cave complex.

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Fremiets" ((92-94BH), (92-94VN), (91-93RP), 91DC). Vinous: "Bright ruby. Blackberry, licorice and violet on the perfumed nose. Fine-grained and suave, but with terrific inner-mouth floral lift giving the middle palate a sense of energy. The wine's finishing sweetness is leavened by saline minerality and noteworthy grip. Really spreads out to saturate the mouth; an outstanding example of this premier cru. (ST)" (01/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion in original wood.

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Mark Herold "Brown Label" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate: "Mark Herold is known for his full-throttle, massively extracted, rich Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines. But he is also doing an increasingly impressive job with innovative value whites and reds that more California winemakers should be doing – creative assemblages of grapes into a delicious, consumer-friendly wine. Herold, who was a research oenologist at Joseph Phelps Vineyards 1996-2003, has been on his own now for more than a decade. He has recently introduced wines that are all excellent values." (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Epoch Paso Robles Red Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2009 Epoch "Ingenuity - Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (95JD, 94RP, 93ST, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2009 Epoch "Veracity - Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (94JD, 93ST, 93WS, 92RP). Of the 2009 Epoch "Ingenuity - Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A blend of 65% Syrah, 12% Petite Sirah, 12% Mourvedre, 7% Grenache, and 4% Zinfandel, the 2009 Epoch Estate Wines Ingenuity Paderewski Vineyard is utterly captivating stuff. Possessing an inky purple color, it exhibits a complex, decadent array of smoky black fruits, underbrush, bramble, charred beef, and chocolate to go with a full-bodied, hedonistic palate that manages to exude fruit and texture, while at the same time holding on to a sense of elegance, poise, and class. This brilliant blend has solid concentration, ripe tannin, and a very well done, classically styled, and tannic finish. It needs plent

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has really closed down since I last tasted it. Beams of tannin give the 2013 its shape and overall energy. Precise and yet also quite explosive, the 2013 will be a magnificent wine once it emerges from its present slumber. Quite simply, this is a captivating wine from Naoko Dalla Valle. Time in the glass provides glimpse of what is in store for readers who wait. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, (95-98ST), (95-97VN), 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Screaming Eagle is composed of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Made in the classic, iconic Screaming Eagle style that the original proprietress, Jean Philipps, first showcased in the early 1990s, before the winery was sold to Stan Kroenke, the inky/purple-colored, seamless 2012 possesses an extraordinary set of aromatics consisting of pure blackcurrant liqueur, licorice, acacia flowers, graphite and a subtle hint of new oak. Full-bodied, opulent and voluptuous, this profound wine is as prodigious as I thought it would be last year when tasted from barrel. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (99RP, 98DC, 98JS, 98VN, 98WS, 97ST, 96WE, (93-94JG)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Mouton-Rothschild is as concentrated as the 2010, but it presents itself in a more consumer-friendly, seductive style. Opulently textured and full-bodied with gorgeous levels of crème de cassis, melted licorice, espresso roast and chocolate, it possesses high but sweet, velvety tannins, massive body, and fabulous purity as well as length. This could turn out to be a candidate for perfection in another 8-10 years. It will drink well for 30-50 years, but will always be much more approachable and charming than its 2010 counterpart. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco (95RP, 95WE, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Barbaresco is a tight and beautiful wine that will require more time to unwind and soften. This beautifully balanced vintage is characterized by a tight inner core of fruit that underlines the graceful aging capacity of these wines. The 2016 is shaping up to be one destined for long cellar aging. Now in its youth, the wine offers wild berry, rose and licorice aromas. (ML)" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $235.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Textbook "Mise en Place" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S, 91RP, 90WE). Wine & Spirits: "Jonathan Pey makes this wine from vines on the eastern and western benchlands of Oakville, blending a luscious cabernet with high notes of dewy strawberries and long flavors of black currants. Oak comes up to meet the fruit, darkening it to purple tones and spicy scents of mincemeat, but the wine feels fresh in the end, a sleek cabernet sustaining its energy straight through." (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Troplong Mondot, St-Émilion (98RP, 94VN, 92DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet in color, the 2010 Troplong Mondot explodes with beautiful floral notes of red roses and candied violets over a core of plum preserves, kirsch and blueberry pie with a waft of bouquet garni. Full-bodied, rich and decadently fruited, it has bags of plush tannins and just enough freshness, finishing very long and sinfully hedonic. (LPB)" (03/2020)
Starting Bid: $690.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Booker "The Ripper 24" Paso Robles Grenache ((94-97RP), (93-95VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 The Ripper 24 release is slightly more evolved, and in this case, I think the earlier bottling is the better wine. Nevertheless, this is still an awesome effort that gives up loads of sweet spice, graphite, licorice, dried flowers and cured meats to go with a full-bodied, sexy, seamless style on the palate. It should be ready to go on release and also have upward of a decade of longevity. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Booker "The Ripper" Paso Robles Grenache (96RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 The Ripper (always 100% Grenache), which checks in at 13.6% alcohol, is a fabulous effort that was brought up all in neutral 500-liter French oak barrels. Loaded with notions of kirsch, dried flowers, rose petal and underbrush, it’s about as seamless and elegant as this cuvee gets, yet it’s still no lightweight and has full-bodied richness and depth. Showing plenty of fine tannin on the finish, it is hard to resist now, but should have a solid 10-12 year drink window. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Angélus, St-Émilion (90WS). Wine Spectator: "A big and luscious wine for the vintage, this outstanding Bordeaux delivers loads of plum, berry and pomegranate character on the nose. It's full-bodied, with lots of velvety tannins and a long, long finish. *Cellar Selection* (JS)" (01/2000)
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Auguste Clape Cornas (93VN, 93WS, 90RP, 90WE). Vinous: "Ruby-red. Classic Cornas on the nose, with strong scents of red berries, cherry, blackcurrant, smoked meat, candied violet, anise and minerals; this has all the syrah food groups covered. Dense and sweet, with impressively concentrated red and dark berry flavors, bright minerality and fine-grained tannins. Finishes sweet and long, with strong fruit and just the slightest hints of game and earth. Clape describes this one as 'delicate, but absolutely Cornas.' (JR)" (01/2007)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Domaine Trevallon "Les Baux" Coteaux d'Aix (96VN, 94RP). Vinous: "I was totally floored by Domaine de Trévallon's 1990 Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Les Baux. It was fabulous with the beef, but the truth is it would have been great with anything, or nothing at all. Sweet layers of fruit, subtle herbs, cedar, tobacco and spices were all present in the glass, but the wine was really more about textural silkiness and elegance, both of which it showed in spades. Readers lucky enough to still be cellaring bottles can look forward to as much as another decade of fine drinking. What a wine! (AG)" (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this bottle of 1959 Pichon Lalande, Pauillac (98WS, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "This has the range of the '61, with similar dried currant, fig and blackberry fruit forming the core, but the tannins are more prominent from the start. Alder and cedar base notes carry the tar-tinged finish, leading to an echo of bitter orange, iron and charcoal as this grows steadily and authoritatively in the glass. A tad longer than the '61. (JM, Web only-2014)"
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Montrose, St-Estèphe (97RP, 97VN, 96DC, 96JS, 95JD, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2005 Montrose replicated previous showings of that formidable wine. The bouquet is backward and here exuding more black fruit than previous bottles, rendering it more akin to the 2010 Montrose. With aeration those telltale scents of pencil lead emerge, although this bottle shows a touch more brine. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, a Montrose with huge backbone, solid to the point of being obdurate. Yet that would be overlooking the poise and delineation of this Montrose, the manner in which it gathers momentum towards the grippy finish. It is a truly great 2005 Bordeaux but it deserves a couple of decades in bottle. (NM)" (07/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Reynvaan "In the Hills - Foothills In The Sun Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95RP, 94WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Fermented with 6% Viognier, the 2015 Syrah In The Hills is already very expressive, bursting with aromas of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, grilled meats, lavender and black olive. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and lavish, paradoxically fresh and mouthwateringly saline despite its low acidity, with a savory core of fruit and a nicely delineated finish. (WK)" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Araujo’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is a picture perfect example of the year. Vibrant, precise and beautifully chiseled, the 2010 boasts serious depth and concentration. The aromas and flavors are incredibly vivid in this textured, dazzling Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of dark blue and black fruit, mocha, espresso and grilled herbs flesh out on the huge finish. Today the 2010 is unusually open, but it is almost certain to shut down in bottle over the next 6-12 months. The 2010 is a super-classic Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon from Araujo. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1995 Dominique Laurent Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes ((90-93RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I tasted the fabulous, ruby/purple-colored Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes prior to its being transferred from a previously used barrel into a new one. Revealing superbly well-defined aromatics of sweet cherries and herbs, this exceptionally well-made wine possesses a full-bodied, thick, concentrated and lively core of red berry fruit. The outstanding score I have given this wine may appear overly conservative after it has acquired additional complexity and nuanced flavors from aging in the new oak barrels. (PR)" (06/1997)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Reynvaan "In the Rocks Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (94RP, 94WS, 93JS, 93VN, 92W&S, 92WE, 91JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Co-fermented with 6% Viognier, the 2015 Syrah In The Rocks is striking, bursting from the glass with an expressive nose of potpourri, wild plums, espresso roast and grilled meats. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, lavish and velvety, with savory flavors of roasted meats and wild dark fruits, concluding with a sapid, saline finish. While I don't think this boasts the depth and dimension of this cuvée's best vintages, it's a beautiful wine with a strong personality. (WK)" (06/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95RP, 94DC). Vinous: "Dark ruby. Captivating violet lift to the aromas and flavors of cassis, kirsch, licorice and mocha. Plush and fine-grained; extremely deep in the middle palate but this extremely rich wine impresses as much for its finesse as for its sheer density and power. Finishes with wonderfully harmonious tannins and great slow-mounting length. Owing to its sheer density and baby fat, the wine is edge-free from the start, but it's likely to evolve at a snail's pace and last for decades. (ST) 96+" (08/2018)
