Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 La Pelle Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc (95JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "A brilliant effort by the talented Maayan Koschitzky, the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is all varietal and spent 19 months in French oak. It has a touch of Haut Brion Blanc-like lemon curd and exotic fruits as well as beautiful minerality, full-bodied richness, perfectly integrated acidity, and a great finish. Rich, yet still racy and vibrant, it shines for its remarkable purity. The only downside is there are only 100 cases. Readers looking for an insider-only estate to get in on the ground level should jump on the bandwagon of this estate." (11/2019)
Starting Bid: $125.00
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Didier Dagueneau "Silex" Pouilly-Fumé ((92-93RP), 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A delightfully, pungently intense bouquet of hedge flowers and resinous herbs rises from the glass of Dagueneau 2011 Blanc Fume de Pouilly Silex, anticipating the bittersweet presence of herbal essences and inner-mouth floral perfume that are allied to nut and citrus oils on a dense, subtly oleaginous palate. This finishes with an authoritative sense of grip and I expect it will not only perform well for a decade but benefit from being left alone for the first several years in bottle. (DS)" (06/2012)
