Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Fontodi "Flaccianello della Pieve" Toscana (100RP, 100VN, 97WS, 95JS). Vinous: "The 2016 Flaccianello della Pieve is a truly special, moving wine. There's not much more to say. The 2016 was epic when I tasted it last year. It is every bit as memorable today. Beautifully layered, the 2016 possesses remarkable finesse and power. All of the natural intensity of Panzano's Conca d'Oro comes through in a wine that dazzles from start to finish. As always, Flaccianello showcases the darker side of Sangiovese. (AG)" (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $311.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino , including 1-bottle of 2013 Val di Suga "Vigna del Lago" Brunello di Montalcino (93RP, 92JS, 91WE, 90WS) and 2-bottles of 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino (94JS, 94RP, 92VN, 90WS). Of the 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino ,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "One of three single-vineyard expressions from Val di Suga, the 2013 Brunello di Montalcino Poggio al Granchio opens to a nicely saturated color and beautifully intense aromas. Fruit is sourced from a site located in the southeast quadrant of Montalcino where steep diurnal shifts help to sharpen and maximize those pretty fruit aromas. Wild cherry and blackberry are followed by aniseed, camphor ash and balsam herb. This elegant wine delivers an impressive load of Sangiovese typicity. This wine was aged in French barrique for 24 months, and the oak is expertly integrated. (ML)" (02/2019

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Il Poggione "Vigna Paganelli" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (97JS, 95DC, 95RP, 95WE, 95WS, 93VN). James Suckling: "Rather sweet due to the super ripe vintage. But there's also great subtlety, enormous depth and a ton of tannin behind the opulence. The super long finish is incredibly focused. " (12/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1997 Livio Sassetti "Pertimali" Brunello di Montalcino (96RP, 92ST, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Readers should note that with the 1997 Brunello di Montalcino, the label has changed to emphasize the proprietor's name, Livio Sassetti, rather than the estate name, Pertimali. Always a top-notch Brunello, the 1997 is staggering in its aromatic fireworks and concentrated, long, intense flavors. Sumptuous aromas of dried Provencal herbs, roasted meats, soy, spice box, asphalt, truffles, and black fruits linger in the air. Flavors of new saddle leather are added to jammy black fruit characteristics. Opulently-textured, full-bodied, and gorgeously pure, this wine creates an olfactory overload. Mamma mia! (RP)" (10/2001)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 La Colombina Brunello di Montalcino (92WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Starts with a lot of creamy vanilla and berry perfume aromas, which don't really tip you off to the zesty, racy fruit that's been crammed onto the palate. Medium tannins and fairly chewy on the tongue, with a juicy finish that still has plenty of sweet vanilla and chocolate characteristics. *Editors' Choice* (MS)" (07/2005)
Starting Bid: $30.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Mauro Veglio "Castelletto" Barolo (93JS, 93VN, 93WE, 91W&S). Vinous: "The 2015 Barolo Castelletto is the most complete and expressive of the Veglio 2015s. A rush of blue and purplish berry fruits melds into lavender, spice, licorice and tobacco, while beams of firm Monforte tannin give the wine its distinctive energy. There is so much to admire in this nuanced, powerful wine from Veglio. (AG)" (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Il Molino di Grace 2011 Gratius (95% Sangiovese with 5% Colorino and Canaiolo) has taken a considerable jump forward in quality compared to past vintages. This is a steady and true expression of Tuscany with tonic fruit flavors of cherry and blackberry followed by moist earth and spice. In the mouth, the wine shows richness and a supple character.
