Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2007 Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes (OWC - 94WE, 93RP, 93VN, 91WS, 90JS) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "Packed with botrytis, this is a wine whose sweetness is suppressed by richness. Flavors of bitter oranges and white figs go with the intense core of botrytis, followed by a touch of bright acidity. This is a wine whose journey is just beginning. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2000 Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest examples I tasted from this vintage (which is not nearly as bad as many had predicted), the light gold-colored 2000 Lafaurie-Peyraguey makes a big, tactile impression on the palate. Characteristics of tropical fruit, caramel, orange marmalade, and buttered citrus emerge from this full-bodied, evolved Sauternes. (RP)" (04/2003)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1985 Graham's Vintage Port (96RP, 96WS, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Graham is the undisputed star and kingpin of the 1985 vintage ports. Yes, it is made in a sweeter style than the other ports, but it is a fabulous wine because of a dazzling level of black-cherry fruit, an enormous structure, and staggering depth, dimension, and length. (RP)" (01/1989)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1997 Coutet, Barsac (92ST, 92VN, 90RP, 90WS). Vinous: "Complex, classy aromas of nectarine, apricot, smoke and roasted grain. Very rich and concentrated; full and sweet for Barsac but carrying no excess weight. Lovely pliant texture. Finishes very long, spicy and fresh. A very elegant wine with an impressively long, spicy aftertaste. (ST)" (07/2000)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1977 Fonseca Vintage Port (100JS, 100WS, 95JG, 93RP). James Suckling: "I found a bottle of 1977 Fonseca in my cellar - probably my last. It was absolutely gorgeous. I gave this fortified wine a perfect score in its youth and I think it has finally evolved into its perfection as a mature vintage Port...This is in total balance now with such harmony. What amazing aromas of berry and flowers. Full and sweet, the tannins are complete dissolved. The fruit is perfect. This goes on for minutes. Drink now. But it will go forever. " (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2001 de Malle, Sauternes (OWC - 95WS, 93RP) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "Golden-colored, with extreme aromas of honey, candied lemons and mandarin oranges. Full-bodied, very sweet and concentrated. It goes on and on. Thick and rich. Loads of spicy, almost hot botrytis character. Best after 2010. (JS)" (09/2004)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 d'Yquem, Sauternes (92WS, 91JS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Forward and flattering, with unctuous marmalade, blood orange, apricot chutney and ginger notes. Juicy and engaging, but without the finely beaded acidity to stretch out fully.—Non-blind Yquem vertical. (JM-Web only, 2014)"
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Taylor Vintage Port (100JS, 100WS, 99WE, 97RP, 95DC). James Suckling: "This is, to date, the greatest Vintage Port ever from here. It overwhelmed me years ago when I tasted it from barrel, but only now is it crossing gradually into its drinking window. The intensity is still mind-boggling here, with sweet-and-sour notes as well as mounds of clay. There are violets lurking somewhere too. A full-bodied, medium sweet and sublime Vintage Port, showing forest fruits and freshly picked blackberries on the palate in the form of a creamy, focused and tannic texture." (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Quinta Do Noval Nacional Vintage Port. Wine Spectator: "Medium ruby, with intense aromas of grape skins and vanilla, full-bodied, with concentrated black cherry flavors and very good structure. (Web-1989)"
Starting Bid: $233.00

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Bastor-Lamontagne, Sauternes. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is an excellent wine with abundant quantities of botrytis, as evidenced by its honeyed pineapple- and orange-scented nose. In the mouth, it is full, wonderfully pure, focused, and long, with moderate sweetness. This Sauternes could actually serve as a good aperitif as well as a dessert wine. (RP)" (12/1997)
Starting Bid: $46.00

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Castiglioncelli Vin Santo Toscano.
Starting Bid: $60.01

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 d'Yquem, Sauternes (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium gold in color, the 1999 d'Yquem has shed its puppy fat and transformed into compelling cinnamon toast, creme caramel and cashew notions with emerging notes of beurre blanc, honeycomb, ginger snaps and praline over a core of peach preserves and apple pie. The palate is softly spoken with a refreshing backbone carrying loads of delicate savory and stone fruit preserves nuances to a long, beautifully restrained finish. At the 20-year mark, this wine is in the midst of its ideal drinking window, and while I hasten to add that there is no rush to drink up, there’s also no need to delay your gratification either. The alcohol this vintage is 13.8%, while the residual sugar is 128 grams per liter, and the total acidity is 4.5 grams per liter of H2SO4. (LPB)" (08/2019)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 d'Yquem, Sauternes. Wine Spectator: "Yellow-gold color. Intense aromas of petrol, spice and honey, with dried apricot. Full-bodied, very sweet, with a green apple and honey character; petrol character comes through on the finish. Better with age. (JS)" (05/2000)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 René Renou "La Montagne" Bonnezeaux.
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes (96RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The La Tour Blanche 2001 has long been the 'insiders’ Sauternes' for the vintage. Leave the Yquem ’01 for the millionaires: load up on one of the finest recent vintages from the estate. It has a potent honeyed, frangipane and white flower-scented bouquet with subtle nougat scents in the background lending it an exotic edge. The palate is extremely well balanced with fine acidity effortlessly slicing a swathe through that unctuous, honeyed fruit. There are also understated marmalade notes with a suggestion of crème brûlée furnishing the weighty finish that goes on and on. Just don’t tell anyone how good this La Tour Blanche is...promise? (NM)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 1970 Fonseca Vintage Port (96WS, 95RP). Wine Spectator: "Some people may enjoy this wine's rather fat, rich and powerful fruit now, but I still find it too young for drinking. Deeply colored, with smoky mint, tar and fruit aromas, full-bodied, with concentrated fruit flavors and plenty of tannins. (JS, Web Only-1989)"
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 1994 Ferreira Vintage Port in original wood. Wine Spectator: "Inky, with intense, ripe fruit flavors, verging on raisin with a hint of citrus. Medium- to full-bodied and lightly sweet, with medium-tough, velvety tannins and a fresh finish. Not quite as impressive as when tasted from barrel, but a well-toned vintage Port nonetheless. Best after 2006." (04/1997)
Starting Bid: $420.00
