(HS)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "A silky entry is just the beginning of this elegant, rich and densely flavored effort. The tannins make their presence felt on the finish amid a wave of dark berry and spicy oak. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast White Blend (97RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "the 2013 White Wine Resiste is a sensational white from California that's made from 45% Roussanne, 26% Chardonnay, 14% Petite Manseng, 10% Viognier and 5% Marsanne that spent 19 months in 46% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs and used barrels. Possessing rock-star levels of richness and texture on the palate, with full-bodied depth and power that never seems heavy or cumbersome, it has classic SQN white notes of buttered golden fruits, honeysuckle, honeycomb, toast and white flowers. Unctuous, full-flavored and still lively and fresh, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades. (JD)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $435.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Gargiulo "G Major 7 Study'' Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (90VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon G Major 7 Study, Gargiulo's Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend, is supple, juicy and immediate, with plenty of dark cherry, chocolate, plum and mocha flavors. Drink this racy, voluptuous Oakville red over the next few years. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino , including 1-bottle of 2013 Val di Suga "Vigna del Lago" Brunello di Montalcino (93RP, 92JS, 91WE, 90WS) and 2-bottles of 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino (94JS, 94RP, 92VN, 90WS). Of the 2013 Val di Suga "Poggio al Granchio" Brunello di Montalcino ,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "One of three single-vineyard expressions from Val di Suga, the 2013 Brunello di Montalcino Poggio al Granchio opens to a nicely saturated color and beautifully intense aromas. Fruit is sourced from a site located in the southeast quadrant of Montalcino where steep diurnal shifts help to sharpen and maximize those pretty fruit aromas. Wild cherry and blackberry are followed by aniseed, camphor ash and balsam herb. This elegant wine delivers an impressive load of Sangiovese typicity. This wine was aged in French barrique for 24 months, and the oak is expertly integrated. (ML)" (02/2019

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru ((89-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is a very subtle hint of the exotic to the cool and fresh aromas of apple, floral and discreet spice and oak scents. The delicious and overtly stony broad-shouldered flavors possess a really lovely mouth feel before terminating in a slightly drying finish and short finish. There is however a significant amount of gas present that may very well be responsible for the dryness and in any event certainly exacerbates it. As such I am less confident in my projected range than usual and I look forward to revisiting this wine in bottle next year." (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 95WS, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Monte Bello is a very special vintage for this great wine. Amazingly, it has yet to shut down, unfurling in the glass to reveal a bouquet of black raspberries, cassis, rich espresso roast, cigar wrapper, subtle black truffle and burning embers that has already integrated its 100% new oak remarkably completely. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with a lavishly textural attack that segues into a stunningly layered, richly structured mid-palate endowed with incredible depth and concentration underpinned by succulent acids. The finish is long, vibrant and beautifully delineated. The 2013 is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, and it attained 13.6% natural alcohol. Analytically, this ranks as one of the most tannic vintages

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Gargiulo "575 OVX" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN). Vinous: "The 2013 OVX is a dense, opulent wine that captures the radiant, sensual personality that is so common in the wines from this part of Oakville. Mocha, bittersweet chocolate, dark spices, new leather and licorice are front and center. Ripe, racy and flamboyant, but with terrific balance, the 2013 drinks well now. This is an especially accessible 2013. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Promise Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. Antonio Galloni writes: "Steve McPherson left behind a successful career as television executive to focus on his dream of making world-class wine. Promise emerges from a plot in Rich Frank’s Winston Hill vineyard in Rutherford. The wine spends about 30 months in new French oak barrels. There is no shortage of boutique wineries in Napa Valley, but Promise is the real deal. Steve McPherson and his team have succeeded in crafting one of the most unique Cabernet Sauvignons readers will come across."
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98JD, 98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "Wonderful floral aromas with perfumed roses plus hints of blackcurrants and spearmint. Full-bodied and so powerful and muscular but always showing the brightness and beauty of fruit. Winemakers say this reminds them of the 1978, their first year. It certainly has the structure — "those tannins" as they put it. Finish is so impressive with tar, iron and spices. " (01/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP, 93VN, 92WS, 91CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a large vineyard (Gap's Crown is roughly 130 acres), the 2013 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard comes from a smaller 37-acre parcel owned by Kosta Browne, which lies at an elevation of 1,000 feet above sea level. Harvest all towards the end of September and aged 16 months in 51% new French oak, it has a slightly darker slant in its wild strawberry, black raspberry, spice and sappy flower stem-like aromas and flavors. Elegant, seamless and downright pretty, it grows on you with time in the glass and is a gorgeous Pinot Noir to drink over the coming decade. (JD)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 95JS, 95W&S, 94CG, 94DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Insignia (their 40th vintage) is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and the rest Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. This wine is aged 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels, and the production can vary from just over 10,000 cases to nearly 20,000 cases in a very abundant vintage. There were 12,300 cases produced in 2013, and this vintage of Insignia is certainly going to turn out to be one of the great ones. The wine offers a stunning inky blue/purple color, a gorgeous nose of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, pen ink, graphite, new saddle leather and barrique. The wine has fabulous concentration, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, and tremendous finish with moderate tannin. It’s interesting to note that the Phelps winemaking staff had been gradually reducing the amount of Merlot in this wine o

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Alban "Estate" Edna Valley Grenache (98JD, 96RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Incorporating 10% Syrah, the 2013 Grenache was bottled last September and there's a tiny 120 cases produced. It's another sensational wine from John that offers layers of black currants, scorched earth, graphite, lavender and licorice." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a top bottling from one of the appellation's first superstar wineries. Aromas of baked red cherry and red plum are dusted with nutmeg, clove and a crushed-slate minerality. The palate is lively with dried fennel, white sage and an earthy mintiness, which all give spice to the underlying base of ripe raspberry fruit. It's extremely delicious and deeply layered. (MK)" (11/2016)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 97JS, 95VN, 95W&S, 94CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace comes from seven acres of the 20-acre vineyard (whereas the Gravelly Meadow emerges from five acres). The terroir is iron-rich, red, rocky soil in contrast to the light, gravelly, ashy soils of the Gravelly Meadow. Super-intense, rich, more backward and powerful than the Gravelly Meadow, this dense purple wine offers up notes of beef blood, crème de cassis, blackberry, licorice and earth. Full-bodied, powerful and incredibly well-balanced, this is wine for 25-30 or more years of aging. In fact, don’t plan on drinking a bottle for at least another 5-8 years. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $192.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Littorai "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (93DC, 93VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is open, resonant and inviting, although it will be a few years before the wine's full breadth of aromas and flavors develops. The Charles Heintz is defined by its enveloping, texture personality and spherical finish. Hints of orchard fruit and chamomile add the closing shades of nuance. In 2013, the malo was early here, so the wine was bottled on the earlier side by Littorai standards. (AG)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Querciabella "Turpino" Toscana Rosso (92WS). Wine Spectator: "This evokes black currant, black cherry, olive, cedar, tobacco and licorice flavors. Though sleek, this remains concentrated and coats the palate on the long finish. (BS)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Del Dotto Napa Valley Cabernet Franc. According to Robert Parker: "One of the bright, shining stars of Napa is David Del Dotto’s winery. His faux-Italian villa gets mixed reactions from the locals, but there’s no question that the wines are of impeccably high quality, and certainly world-class in every sense."
Starting Bid: $256.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Ark Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard has a deep garnet color and nose of crème de cassis, blueberry compote and candied violets with hints of red roses, chocolate mint, stewed tea and yeast extract plus a hint of cumin. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, the palate is completely packed with spicy fruit, finishing with lingering earthy notes. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $411.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Few and Far Between" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Obviously, the Eisele Vineyard next door is a first-growth quality vineyard, and so is Jayson Woodbridge’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between. This has some Cabernet Franc (5%-15%), and spends 32 months in barrel. It is an absolutely outrageously great wine from the volcanic rocks and white volcanic ash of these soils in this northeast sector of Napa to the south of Calistoga. The finish goes on for over a minute, as this wine has layers and layers of fruit. If anything, it reminded me of a Château Latour on steroids. A magnificent example, it is one of the prodigious wines of this great vintage for Bordeaux varietals in Napa. The 2013 Few and Far Between already drinks well, but will still be reveling its purchasers 35-40 years from now. The sad thing about the Few and Far Between Vineyard is that it is only a five-acre parcel. (RP)" (10/
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Kosta Browne "Giusti Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the Russian River Valley and the newest single vineyard from this team (the first vintage was 2012), the 2013 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard is another big, rich, full-flavored Pinot Noir that gives up slightly lifted notes of dark fruits, graphite and peppery spice. Almost completely destemmed and aged 16 months in 40% new French oak, it’s a sensational Pinot Noir with terrific purity in its concentrated, layered and textured personality. It's superb today, but will cruise through at least 2023. (JD)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $77.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan spent 32 months in French oak prior to being bottled unfiltered. Like all of the Woodbridge wines, it can be noted for its inky/bluish purple color, extraordinary fragrance of white flowers, crème de cassis, blackberry and graphite. Totally opulent, I always thought the wine tasted more like the great Pomerols, which are made mostly from Merlot, versus Woodbridge’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. But this vineyard has a lot of clay in it that seems to provide a silkiness to the tannins. This is a beautifully balanced, full-throttle and highly extracted wine with no hard edges and a finish of a good 45-50 seconds. The fruit character is still vibrant and intense, despite the 32 months of oak age. Drink it over the next 30 years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Reynvaan "The Unnamed - In The Rocks Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (91WE, 90RP, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of peat, fire pit, earth and funk are followed by elegantly styled fruit and savory flavors that show deftness and length. It's a very pretty expression of the area, putting a focus on elegance. (SPS)" (11/2016)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Pahlmeyer "Jayson" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 93WS). James Suckling: "Wow. Wonderful aromas of blueberry, mineral, sage and blackberry follow through to a full body, silky tannins and a savory, fresh finish. Sexy red. Fleshy. Drink or hold." (01/2016)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 97RP, 97VN). James Suckling: "The greatest Opus ever. Terrific aromas of crushed black currants, blueberries and flowers with hints of sweet tobacco. Roses continue to exude opulence and class. Full body, superb balance of ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Complex aftertaste of black fruits and citrus fruit. Extremely persistent. So approachable now and enjoyable. But will be even better in 2019 and beyond. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. This will always be beautiful to drink." (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $401.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Cobb "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92RP, 92VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard opens with a rush of exotic aromatics. Orange peel, star anise, cinnamon, mint and dried flowers soar out of the glass. The 50-60% whole clusters add intense aromatics. The 2013 is heavily reduced, but it starts to find its focus with time in the glass. Ross Cobb gave the 2013 30 months in barrel, which is quite long for Pinot. Readers should expect a wild, eccentric wine that is a sort of roller coaster. There is certainly no shortage of intrigue or personality. If opened young, the 2013 needs quite a bit of oxygen. The 2013 is a blend of fruit from the 1906 and Old First blocks. (AG)" (03/2017)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,025.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96VN, 94WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I think the wine of the vintage, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Columbia Valley is flat out sensational, and flirts with perfection. Its inky ruby/purple color is followed by incredible notes of cassis, black currants, smoked herbs, licorice and graphite. These give way to a full-bodied, utterly seamless Cabernet that has full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannin and a killer finish. While it possesses the elegance and purity of the vintage, it has a stacked mid-palate, and deserves 4-5 years of cellaring. It will have two decades or more of overall longevity. (JD)" (06/2016)
Price: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem "Calegari Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95WE, 92VN, 91BH, 90RP, 90W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Woody, herbal and resplendent in forest-floor pine and sandalwood, this is a complex, earthy and medium-bodied wine. It's low in oak, and revelatory in cool-climate seductions of pomegranate, cranberry and rhubarb compote. The finish is all black tea, with still-developing tannin structure and power. (VB)" (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99VN, 98JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Little can be added to the greatness of the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Vin, a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. The wine (600 cases) is truly stunning in its dense, crème de cassis and blackberry-scented nose with a hint of barbecue smoke and forest floor. Tasting like a ripe vintage of Château Latour from Pauillac, the wine has amazing richness and a savory, expansive mouthfeel, but tiptoes across the palate like a ballerina. A wine of magnificent richness and intensity, but vibrancy, purity and overall equilibrium, this is a staggeringly great wine and another tribute to the Kapcsándy family’s extraordinary professionalism and meticulous attention to detail in their vineyard. The Kapcsándy Family Winery, with their State Lane Vineyard on the Yountville crossroad, burst on the scene just over
Starting Bid: $530.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 d'Arenberg "The Ironstone Pressings" Rhône Blend McLaren Vale South Australia (94JH, 92RP, 92VN). James Halliday: "Matured in used French (81%) and American (19%) oak for 12 months. Deep crimson-purple, unmatched by virtually any Barossa Valley GSM; the alcohol, too, is strikingly low in GSM terms, then there is the powerful array of red and black fruits. Good now, but will be better still in 2+ years. This is a unique style, patented - so it seems - by d'Arenberg." (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $77.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Rafanelli Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel. The Rafanelli family is now in its fourth generation of growing grapes and making wine in the Dry Creek Valley. Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A real tour de force once again, and their second consecutive perfect score, is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, which is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot aged 22 months in 40% new French oak. It is a larger cuvée of 1,416 cases versus 450 for the Reserve Claret. The Cabernet is just under 15% alcohol. A fantastic wine, with great intensity, notes of graphite, forest floor, crème de cassis, white chocolate and blackberry, the wine hits the palate with a thunderous presence, has a multi-layered, skyscraper-like palate feel, a plush, intense texture, high but well-integrated tannin and acidity, and nicely disguised oak. This is a magnificent wine, with 79% of it coming from the Sonoma side of Spring Mountain and 21% from the Napa side. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 99RP, 98JS, 98VN, 98WE, 97DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the most classic examples of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon I could image is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from Spottswoode and this blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot is a truly heavenly, classic wine built for the ages. Offering beautiful notes of black and blue fruits, graphite, exotic spices, violets and spring flowers, with a touch of earthy, damp river rock-like minerality, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, stunning purity of fruit, perfect balance, building tannin, and a great, great finish. While a number of 2013s have closed down at this point, this still offers beautiful freshness and purity, yet will ideally be given another 4-5 years of bottle age and enjoyed over the following 3-4 decades. Do you want a sure bet in awesome, age-worthy Cabernet from northern California? Buy this wine."

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem "Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96CG, 95WE, 94RP, 93VN, 91WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Taking its place at the top of the Williams Selyem roster of outstanding 2013 Pinots, this lovely offering exhibits the uncanny combination of riveting richness and grace that only the finest renditions of the varietal can. It is at once both solid and genuinely elegant stuff with great vigor and verve and a sense of seamless integration from beginning to end. As is the case with so many of the winery's youthfully charming releases, it is a wine of so much immediate appeal that waiting will not come easy, but even a bit of patience will pay dividends as it gains complexity over time. *Three Stars*" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Flora Springs "Rennie Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94JS, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another of their single-vineyard offerings that has a proven track record for long-term cellaring is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rennie Reserve, which comes from holdings in St. Helena. This shows the valley’s beautiful crème de cassis fruit, nice judicious touch of toasty oak and licorice, full-bodied mouthfeel, and no hard edges. Tannins are present, but round and well-integrated. This is a full-bodied wine made for drinking over the next 20-25 years, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see it last longer. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $310.50

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem "Ferrington Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (93VN, 92RP, 91BH, 91WE). Vinous: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard is a terrific example of Anderson Valley Pinot. Red cherry jam, pomegranate and plum give the Ferrington its distinctive plush feel. Open-knit, creamy and expressive, the 2013 offers striking depth and harmony from start to finish. Drink this succulent, forward Pinot over the next decade or so. (AG)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 97DC, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a towering majestic wine. Rich, powerful and yet massively tannic, the 2013 possesses a stunning combination of super-ripe fruit, bright acids and plenty of supporting structure. In the early going, the Howell Mountain is a bit reticent, especially next to the Trailer, but after several hours, the vibrancy of the Howell Mountain bottling dazzles. Dunn's Howell Mountain Cabernet is without question one of the wines of the great 2013 vintage. Randy and Mike Dunn's 2013s are off the charts. (AG) 98+" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem "Allen Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96WE, 93VN, 92BH, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "A vineyard for both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Allen is exquisitely detailed in this textured bottling that’s weighty, with a tannin backdrop and replete with savory fruit. Wild strawberry, Bing cherry and black tea stand out, with an undercurrent of lushness that’s hard to resist. *Editors’ Choice* (VB)" (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $126.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (93VN, 93WE, 91CG, 91RP). Vinous: "Opaque ruby. Deep, smoke-accented aromas of red and blue fruits, candied flowers and cracked pepper convey a slow-building mineral quality. At once rich and energetic, offering intense black raspberry and boysenberry compote flavors given spine by juicy acidity. Finishes spicy and impressively long, with velvety tannins arriving late and adding gentle grip. (JR)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Diamond Creek "Gravelly Meadow" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98RP, 98W&S, 97CG, 96DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow could pass for a La Mission Haut-Brion in a blind tasting. Loads of crushed rock, earth and minerality are followed by blue fruits, none of the scorched earth you sometimes find in La Mission Haut-Brion in hot years, but beautifully pure blue and black fruits, medium to full-bodied, sweet, ripe tannins, and a layered mouthfeel that builds incrementally to a full-bodied yet elegant and incredibly pure, long finish. This is sensational stuff that should drink well for 25-30+ years. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $188.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Male" California Syrah (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like with the 2013 Grenache, I was thrilled to be able to taste the 2013 Syrah Male again (twist my arm), and it continues to impress. Giving up fabulous blackberry, bouquet garni, peppery herbs and minerality, this full-bodied, beautifully textured, concentrated and layered Syrah has ultra-fine tannin, impeccable balance and a great finish. Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (94BH, 93RP, 91VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is an abundance of Chablis character to the mildly exotic white fruit, floral, pear, spice and mineral reduction aromas. The palate impression is more open than it usually is at this stage with impressive richness to the generously proportioned middle weight plus flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the stony, balanced, harmonious and highly persistent finish. Like the Valmur this is an overtly powerful wine that should also reward mid-term cellaring yet because of the excellent richness and mid-palate density, it should be approachable young. " (10/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Robert Craig Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94VN, 93JS, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has an inky purple color that is certainly as saturated as any in the impressive Robert Craig lineup. This is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot with similar élevage as the other wines. Beautifully sweet tannin, whole berry, blackberry and graphite notes are present in this full-bodied, opulent, delicious Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is an opaque purple, the wine expansive, savory and impressive. Drink it over the next 20 years. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Perrot Minot Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes ((92-94BH), (91-93RP), 93WS, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A wonderfully expressive and layered nose is more complex if not quite as elegant though here too there are soft floral nuances to the red cherry, pomegranate, plum and earth scents. There is a similar sense of refinement to the slightly larger-scaled flavors that are shaped by remarkably fine-grained tannins on the precise, saline and lingering finale. This is a Charmes of finesse that embodies what I like to call power without weight. In a word, lovely." (01/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Vincent & Sophie Morey Santenay 1er Cru "Les Gravières". Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Tasting note: The wood treatment is noticeably less subtle as the mildly toasty and menthol-infused nose struggles to reveal the otherwise very fresh aromas of red and dark currant along with earth and spice nuances. There is a terrific sense of underlying tension as the freshness of the nose carries over to the palate, all wrapped in a slightly rustic finish that is mildly austere and dry. This is on the woody side and the balance isn't ideal though to be fair, it's not terrible either." (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Realm "Falstaff" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Falstaff, which is a blend of 42% Cabernet Franc, 42% Merlot and 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, is pushing perfection (but that will come with three other offerings made by Realm). This wine emanates from two great vineyards that don't get as much recognition as they deserve, Fortuna and Weitz, with the Blair Vineyard offering up some grapes as well. The wine has a dense purple color to the rim, flowery opulence, beautiful blueberry and blackberry fruit, some forest floor, and even some hints of black raspberries, mocha, tobacco leaf and lavender. An incredibly velvety, in-your-face, stunningly proportioned wine, this should drink well for a decade or more, if you can resist it that long. Drink through 2025. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red is made from 45% Grenache, 29% Mourvedre, 18% Syrah and 8% Counoise (which Justin commented was a blend that was put together relatively late). It saw a big chunk of whole cluster (the Grenache was mostly destemmed though) and was brought up all in puncheons and foudre (the normal concrete component went to the Rocket Block). It offers up gorgeous notes of black raspberries, cherries, cassis, ground herbs and flowers. This beauty hits the palate with incredible purity, fine tannin and an overriding sense of elegance and finesse, backed up by full-bodied richness and depth. (JD)" (08/2016)
