Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Sterling "SVR" Reserve Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Deliciously complex, this Cabernet blend delivers a pretty array of ripe currant, black cherry, sage, cedar and spice notes, revealing its depth and gaining nuance on a long, intricate aftertaste that keeps pumping out flavor. *Cellar Selection*" (04/1999)
Starting Bid: $137.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Margaux, Margaux (97WS, 95RP, 94ST, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "This still broods seriously, with dark plum, currant and blackberry fruit, studded with charcoal, singed tobacco and cedar notes and backed by a serious grip of roasted earth. The gorgeously long finish is driven by old-school tannins, with the smoldering edge going on and on. A brick house of a Margaux, with more charcoal than graphite, more austerity than elegance and more power than refinement. (JM, Web-2014)"
Starting Bid: $421.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1995 Bodegas Reyes "Teofilo Reyes" Tinto Cosecha Ribera del Duero (92RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 1995 Bodegas Reyes, which is about to be released, is a highly promising wine. Reyes, who practices malolactic fermentation in small casks, uses 100% Tinta del Pais grapes (from 40-year old vines), and aims for maximum extraction and little or no manipulation (this wine is bottled unfiltered). The 1995 exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color, followed by a terrific nose of black fruits, licorice, spice, and smoke. The wine is dense, rich, and full-bodied, with no heaviness or overbearing, astringent tannin. Everything is seamless in this beautifully made, pure, full-bodied, intense Ribera del Duero. It should drink well young, and last for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (10/1997)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Domaine Leroy Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (93RP, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The only white 1995 I tasted, the Corton Charlemagne, is atypically delicious now yet can be held for a dozen years: Slightly gold colored and exhibiting aromas of super-ripe, toasty and spicy fruit, this fat, thick-textured and structured wine possesses buttery, tropical fruit flavors. (PR)" (06/1997)
Starting Bid: $1,350.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac (98JS, 96WS, 95RP, 93ST). James Suckling: "I pulled this lone bottle out of my cellar at the last minute to remind some Italian vintners of the great quality of the 1995 Bordeaux vintage. They seem to be finally opening up! What a red with incredible depth and finesse. Cedar, cigar box and toabaaco character with currants and fresh tobacco undertones. It's full-bodied yet tight and dense. Precision. So refined and intense. Such freshness and beauty." (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1995 E. Guigal "Château d'Ampuis" Côte-Rôtie (93RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the treats when tasting through the profound Côte Rôties made by Marcel Guigal was the opportunity to taste all of the bottled 1995's. Reviewed in previous issues, they are even better from bottle than they were during their upbringing (a characteristic of many Guigal wines). The 1995 Côte Rôtie Château d'Ampuis is the stuff of legends and is every bit as compelling as readers might expect. This single vineyard wine will have at least 15 years of longevity.(RMP)" (10/1999)
Starting Bid: $155.88

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 1995 Alejandro Fernandez "Tinto Pesquera" Ribera del Duero ((92-94RP), 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I first wrote laudatory comments about Pesquera over a decade ago, so I am thrilled to see proprietor Alejandro Fernandez continue to build on his noteworthy track record. His new releases are splendid. The superb 1995 Tinto Crianza will be released in January, 1998. It exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color, as well as a wonderfully sweet, jammy black cherry and cassis-scented nose with hints of roasted herbs, vanillin, and spice. Thick, juicy, and full-bodied, this low acid, huge, accessible, and flamboyantly fruity...(RP)" (10/1997)
