Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Lecheneaut Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Cailles" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "While fully secondary there is no sous-bois to the attractively complex nose of spice, game, earth and a leathery character that can also be found on the delicious, intense and tautly muscular flavors that culminate in a lingering finish of good to very good but not truly special depth. While the tannins are largely resolved there is a certain amount of Nuits muscle that remains. " (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $75.00
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1993 Niebaum-Coppola "Rubicon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This impressive effort exhibits a thick-looking, ruby/purple color, as well as herb-tinged, peppery, earthy, black currant fruit intermixed with spice and foresty, loamy scents. In the mouth, the wine is slightly rustic, with medium to full body, outstanding concentration, good spice, and moderately astringent tannin in the long finish. This very good effort is approachable, but still requires several more years of cellaring; it should keep for 15 or more years. (RP)" (08/1998)
Starting Bid: $180.00
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (Blank Label) (90JS, 90RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1993 is a beautifully made wine which could be considered a sleeper of the vintage. The wine boasts a dark purple color, followed by a sweet, pain grillee, roasted nut, and cassis-scented bouquet that is just beginning to open. In the mouth, the wine may not possess the body and volume of a vintage such as 1990 or 1989, but there is more richness of fruit, a sweet, ripe, pureness to the wine, as well as medium body and outstanding balance. (RP)" (02/1997)
