Of the 2012 Kosta Browne Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir,Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar writes: "Vivid ruby. Powerful aromas of dark berries, potpourri and smoky Moroccan spices. Sweet, fleshy and deeply pitched, offering expansive black raspberry and spicecake flavors and a sexy floral pastille nuance. Silky tannins build slowly on the finish, which lingers with excellent, floral-dominated persistence. Showing a darker character than the Sonoma bottlings but just as much vivacity. (ST)" (05/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Kosta Browne Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (93RP, 93WS, 91CG, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Harvest between September 6th and October 2nd, the 2013 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands is a flat out gorgeous Pinot Noir that offers tons of black raspberries, crushed flowers and spice-like characteristics on the nose. Seeing 16 months in 40% new French oak, it has a polished, creamy, sexy texture, yet backs it up with terrific mid-palate depth and a great finish. It should be at its best in another year or so and have a decade or more of longevity. It's just as good as a number of the more expensive single vineyards releases. (JD)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Of the 2008 Pisoni "Estate" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An absolutely stunning fireworks display of aromatics emerges when the nose gets close to the glass of this dense ruby/purple-colored wine. Foresty notes, spring flowers, black raspberry, black currants, sweet cherry, and sassafras all jump from the glass. Extremely layered, velvety-textured, and opulent, with a finish that goes on for 50 seconds, this full-bodied wine has extraordinary concentration, purity, and 'gravitas.' It is a sensational wine that should drink well for up to a decade. Bravo! (RP)" (08/2010)
