Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "A silky entry is just the beginning of this elegant, rich and densely flavored effort. The tannins make their presence felt on the finish amid a wave of dark berry and spicy oak. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Abreu "Rothwell Hyde" St. Helena Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 94JS, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "First made in 2001, the 2015 Rothwell Hyde is a complex blend from all four of the estate vineyards. It's unquestionably more forward and approachable than the single vineyards yet plays in the powerful, serious, incredibly impressive style of this estate. Blockbuster notes of blue fruits, barbecue smoke, camphor, and violets all flow to a full-bodied, thrillingly pure, flamboyant 2015 that has sweet tannins, no hard edges, and remarkable purity of fruit. It's well worth your time and money and can be drunk any time over the coming 3 decades. " (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Levy & McClellan "Ampersand" Napa Valley Red Blend. Formed in 1999 by husband and wife Bob Levy and Martha McClellan, each a highly lauded winemaker in their own right, Levy & McClellan is a boutique cult Napa brand up there with the likes of Harlan (where Bob served as long-time winemaker), Realm, Ovid, and Hundred Acre. Martha's resumé includes time at the helm at such luminary properties as Sloan and Blankiet, so these two represent the hands behind some of Napa's most acclaimed (and coveted) wines. These wines are mailing list only and are extremely difficult to find on the open market. Robert Parker writes, "Although expensive, no one will complain about the quality in the bottle as they are clearly Napa Valley first-growths."
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This 525-case blend of 90% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of white chocolate, mocha, black cherry, and new barrique smells. It is well-made, still somewhat oaky, with medium to full-bodied flavors and a nice, structured style, especially for a Merlot. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $75.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97RP, (93-96ST), 94WS). James Suckling: "The aromas to this wine are very complex and brooding with blackcurrants, sage and spearmint. Souis bois and wet earth then turn to black fruits. Entrancing nose. This is full-bodied, yet tight and focused with compressed tannins and a long finish. Very intense volcanic sea salt to the wines. A much more subtle and mind-provoking style." (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Luc Morlet’s 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallée is a 300-case blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. A mindblowing effort, it offers up notes of mocha, forest floor, blueberries, blackcurrants, asphalt and licorice. Full-bodied and opulent, this sensational 2012 is one of the vintage’s superstars. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Larkmead "Solari" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 95JS, 95WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Solari (100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 70% new French oak) is even better than I thought last year. This spectacular wine boasts notes of white chocolate, hot gravel, crème de cassis, blackberries, licorice and forest floor. A subtle smoky barbecue character is noticeable in the background. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94JD, 94RP, 94WE, 93ST). Wine Spectator: "A potent wine, dark, rich and concentrated, with a tight, intense, sharply focused beam of spicy currant, black cherry, blackberry and boysenberry fruit that unfolds gracefully, revealing extra facets of depth and complexity. (JL)" (11/2002)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Nickel & Nickel "Martin Stelling Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95WE, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Martin Stelling Vineyard is an Oakville site, which has often been one of the cornerstone components of Far Niente’s Cabernet Sauvignon. Inky purple in color to the rim, this has almost primordial richness, dense black fruits, gravelly notes in the background, and terrific intensity in a full-bodied mouthfeel with plenty of cassis and blackberry. Quite full-bodied with big tannins, this is an impressive and potentially very long-lived wine to drink between five and 25 years from now.(RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $93.00

Bid on this bottle of 1980 Shafer Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon. The third vintage from this then fledgling operation in Napa's Stags Leap District, and proof that John Shafer already knew a thing or two before he began! Mature, with lead pencil shavings, tobacco notes and slightly drying cassis fruit.
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97WE, 94WS, 92RP, 91ST). Wine Enthusiast: "The ’04 Maiden is very close to Harlan Estate in quality. The Maiden is a touch less elegant; but it is such a wholesome wine, so succulent in blackberry, cassis, licorice, and roasted cedar. The tannins are so regal—even the slight prickle of acidity works for polish. *Cellar Selection*" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, (93-96VN), 94DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from MacDonald comes from the To Kalon Vineyard just outside of Oakville. It’s a classic 2014 possessing the purity, elegance, and sheer charm that’s the hallmark of this terrific vintage in the Valley. Crème de cassis, black raspberries, crushed flowers, and incense notes all develop with time in the glass, and while it starts out reticent and lightly textured, it gains incredible depth and length over the evening. This is Napa Valley at its most finesse-driven and elegant, and it’s going to drink beautifully for another two decades." (02/2018)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99JD, 97WE, 96VN, 95JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored with a mind-blowingly gorgeous nose that defies words: warm cassis, red roses, sandalwood, Indian spices, crushed rocks, menthol and iron ore with waft of lilacs and truffles. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of super-ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, it finishes incredibly long and remains incredibly provocative. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Staglin "Estate" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is an attractive, racy wine with plush fruit, soft contours and tons of sheer immediacy. Sweet red berry fruit, floral notes, spice and mint are all nicely lifted in this enticing, mid-weight Cabernet Sauvignon from Staglin. The 2017 offers lovely freshness and aromatic presence in a medium-bodied Cabernet that can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring. 94+ (AG)" (01/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97WE, 94RP, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Massive, decadent. Opens with extraordinary aromas of cedar, black currants, cherries, chocolate, sage, pepper and anise, with hints of roasted game. Feels very round, smooth but powerful. Almost sweet in red and black currants and chocolate. So refined, absolutely delicious. Beautiful, lush, complex, soft." (05/2009)
Starting Bid: $617.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon emerges from another first-growth vineyard that was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, and planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. The original vineyard was planted in 1868, but the present one consists of nearly 90 acres. The 2012 reveals incredible complexity and density with notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, licorice, crème de cassis and forest floor. Full-bodied with the vintage’s opulence and drama, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was fashioned from Clones 4 and 337. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this bottle of 1973 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC). Decanter: "An epic vertical tasting of the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon celebrated the 50th anniversary of Robert Mondavi Winery this year. The most moving bottle was the 1966, served over dinner and introduced by Magrit Mondavi (who sadly passed away in September at the age of 91) who described the frenetic activity that surrounded that inaugural vintage. The greatest wine, however, was the 1973. At the time, the Mondavi team believed this vintage to be the best of the previous fifteen years; little did they know it might turn out to be the best Reserve ever made. A stunning bouquet of rose petal, fragrant red-black fruit, rich soil and licorice prefaces a very youthful, vibrant wine with compelling density, freshness and purity. This is just cruising along in the cellar. Picked at 23 Brix and fermented, believe it or not, in roto-fermenters (the Mondavi winery was always ‘cutting edge’). The blen

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Raymond "Reserve Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 92WE, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 40th Anniversary is a blend of 17 vineyards, with the dominant part from the Rutherford Estate. The final blend was 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot, Malbec and Petit Syrah. This was aged 19 months in about 30% new French oak and bottled unfiltered. A real beauty, and, for a top Napa Cabernet, an excellent price point. The wine has a dense bluish purple color, a sweet kiss of crème de cassis, licorice, camphor and subtle toast. Relatively opulent on the attack and midpalate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with silky tannin, adequate acidity and impressive purity and length. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $27.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Gargiulo "G Major 7 Study'' Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Winery notes: "G Major 7 Study Cabernet Sauvignon is blended from selected fruit off the 575 ovx vineyard and is named after a classic jazz guitar chord. Like its namesake, it is composed of four of the five classic Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and Merlot. G Major 7 is highly nuanced and provides a profound sense of elegance and complexity, changing with every swirl and sip. The nose reflects subtle floral notes, which develop into deep, crushed berry and earth flavors on the palate. Its tannins are refined and seamlessly integrated. The aging potential is 25 plus years."
Starting Bid: $246.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Kapcsandy "Roberta’s Reserve - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another wine that flirts with perfection is the 100% Merlot 2016 Roberta's Reserve, which was harvested at the end of September and spent 20 months in 70% new barrels. I finished my note on this wine with "Best Merlot in the New World," and I can't think of another wine that comes close to the layered, balanced, majestic style of this beauty. Offering up a kaleidoscope of black cherries, damp earth, chocolate, cedarwood, and spring flowers, it's full-bodied and rich, yet just glides over the palate with a seamless, elegant, pure style that needs to be tasted to be believed. As with all the Kapcsandy wines, it has the purity and balance to offer pleasure in its youth yet is going to evolve beautifully." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 94RP, 93DC, 92WS). James Suckling: "Aromas of spearmint, sweet tobacco, cigars and blackcurrants follow through to a medium to full body, very polished and refined tannins and an intense finish. Extremely fine and long. Savory. Extremely long finish. Biodynamically grown." (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $456.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Elysian - Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP, (93-96VN)). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is another heavenly wine from this estate that shows a more elegant, seamless style with its incredible perfume of crème de cassis, graphite, white flowers, flowery incense, and unsmoked tobacco. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it offers building tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. About as seamless as they come, with ultra-fine tannins and flawless balance, this heavenly, seamless, magical wine will benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 40 years or more. " (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Arietta Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 92JS, 91RP). Vinous: "Ripe red cherry, plum, spice, tobacco and menthol are front and center in Arietta's 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon. Racy and voluptuous, the 2012 captures the radiance of the vintage in its open-knit, inviting personality. All things considered, this is an especially showy vintage for the Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "1995 was a warmer vintage of lower yields from poor fruit set. The result is a relatively generous Georges de Latour Private reserve with lower acidity and a rich, opulent fruit profile. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 22 months in 100% new oak (55% French and 45% American), the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour has a medium to deep brick color with expressive dried blackberries, Black Forest cake and crème de cassis notes plus hints of cigar box, bouquet garni and coffee beans. Full-bodied (the alcohol is 13.9%), concentrated, firm and grainy, the palate delivers loads of relatively youthful fruit, with seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (05/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98JD, 98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "Wonderful floral aromas with perfumed roses plus hints of blackcurrants and spearmint. Full-bodied and so powerful and muscular but always showing the brightness and beauty of fruit. Winemakers say this reminds them of the 1978, their first year. It certainly has the structure — "those tannins" as they put it. Finish is so impressive with tar, iron and spices. " (01/2018)

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 96VN), and 1-bottle of 2015 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon - The Three Kings" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94JD, 93VN). Of the 2015 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon - The O.G." Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "My favorite in the lineup is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The O.G. which strikes a perfect balance between opulence and elegance. Offering an insane perfume of cassis, crushed violets, espresso roast, and smoke tobacco, this borderline perfect beauty has awesome purity of fruit, a huge, layered texture, ultra-fine tannin, and a great, great finish. It shows the power and richness of this incredible vineyard, yet never puts a fo

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Adobe Road "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard opens with pronounced cassis, blackberries and mulberries scents with hints of bay leaves, damp soil, cedar chest and unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied and packed with powerful cassis and blackberry preserves layers, it has a solid line of grainy tannins, with the freshness in the background and a long earth and cedar-laced finish. Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out of the gate with bold blackberry pie, black currant pastilles and warm blueberries notes with touches of menthol, mocha, cardamom, iron ore and cinnamon stick plus a waft of black olives. The full-bodied palate delivers mouth-coating black and blue fruits with a vast array of earth and spicy sparks, framed by firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Gargiulo "575 OVX" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Jeff and Valerie Gargiulo purchased their first Oakville property in Napa Valley in 1992 and bought the 575 OVX vineyard seven years later. The wine produced from 575 OVX is the winery's most limited release and typically less than 300 cases are produced per year. Winery tasting notes: "The nose reveals delicate aromas of rose petal and red berries, which on the palate become lush fruit flavors complemented by a unique exotic minerality. The last sip in your glass is the most treasured as it has only just begun to tell its story. The aging potential is 25 plus years."

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 93W&S, 92WS). Vinous: "Bright, dark red. Dark raspberry, toffee, cedar, anise, sweet butter, smoked meat, minerals and nutty oak on the complex, inviting nose. A suave, fine-grained, perfumed midweight with fresh acidity and underlying minerality energizing its cassis, spice and mineral flavors. This wonderfully silky, very long wine boasts a near-perfect integration of fruit, acidity and tannins. The finish leaves the mouth perfumed. Delicious now but built for a long life in bottle. Bid on this bottle of 2015 Dana Estates "Helms Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just about pure perfection, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Helms Vineyard comes from vines around the estate, just outside of Rutherford, which were planted in 1997. Sensational notes of crème de cassis, burning embers, bay leaf, and graphite all flow to a full-bodied 2015 that has a deep, layered, multi-dimensional texture that’s hard to describe. With building structure and a beautiful floral character that emerges with time in the glass, perfect balance, and a huge finish, this quintessential Napa Cabernet will benefit from a few years of bottle age and cruise for 3-4 decades. Bravo!" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 93RP). Wine Enthusiast: "This second label of Harlan Estate comes from the estate vineyard, and shares much in common with the main wine, which is a bit more focused and concentrated. The similarities include the briary, wild herb scents of sage and thyme that complex the ripe red cherry pie filling fruit, cocoa, cola and licorice. As with the main wine, the tannins here are gorgeous. This is a balanced, harmonious wine that combines power and elegance." (02/2007)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99RP, 98JD, 98VN, 96WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon leaps from the glass with gorgeous floral notes of red roses and lilacs over a core of black and red cherries, crushed black currants and baking spices plus hints of iron ore and dusty earth. The voluptuous, rounded, soft and sexy fruit slinks across the palate with incredible seamlessness and expression. Make no mistake, it is full-bodied and decadently powerful, but with a myriad of aromatic nuances, finishing long, layered and boldly perfumed. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Gargiulo "575 OVX" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN). Vinous: "The 2013 OVX is a dense, opulent wine that captures the radiant, sensual personality that is so common in the wines from this part of Oakville. Mocha, bittersweet chocolate, dark spices, new leather and licorice are front and center. Ripe, racy and flamboyant, but with terrific balance, the 2013 drinks well now. This is an especially accessible 2013. (AG)" (12/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96RP, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This appears to be one of the great efforts from Chateau Montelena, something I think I was correct about when I gave it an 'in the bottle' rating in 2006 of 95+. It is still an amazingly young wine that came from old vines on the famous St. George rootstock that did not require replanting because of the phylloxera epidemic that swept through Napa in the late 1980's and 1990's. Despite its lofty 14.4% alcohol (high by Montelena standards) and the overall flamboyance of the 2002 vintage, it needs another 4-6 years of cellaring. This young, classic Cabernet Sauvignon represents the quintessential traditional school of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. It possesses an inky/blue/purple color in addition to a tight, but promising nose of black currants, crushed rocks, earth and spice. Rich, full-bodied, pure and brilliantly executed, with perfect harmony, thi

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 90RP). Vinous: "O'Shaughnessy's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is beautiful. The tannins are remarkably polished and sophisticated for a Howell Mountain Cabernet. Sweet red berries, tobacco, licorice and cedar are all woven into a silky, refined finish. There is plenty of Howell Mountain salinity in the glass, but not quite the power and energy that are typical of this wine, or the best Howell Mountain Cabernets in this vintage. Overall, the 2011 is a bit on the lighter side of things, but it is quite pretty in its own way. (AG) 92+" (11/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The 2017 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning. Seamless on the palate, with remarkable depth and richness, the 2017 has so much to offer. Black cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol build in a rich, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon that hits all the right notes. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well with only minimal cellaring. It is without question one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $1,351.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Inky purple colored, the nose of the 2016 Materium Cabernet Sauvignon takes off and absolutely soars with incredible blackberry pie, warm blackcurrants, wild blueberries and kirsch scents plus underlying vanilla pod, milk chocolate, espresso and lavender suggestions. The palate is opulently rich and full-bodied, yet it has bold freshness and exquisitely fine-grained tannins supporting layer upon layer of perfumed fruit, finishing very long. Drink through 2040. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Screaming Eagle "Second Flight" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 96JD, 96RP, 95VN, 94DC). James Suckling: "Very bright and aromatic with dark purple fruits on the nose. Mint, floral and vine bark. Spearmint. Full body, very firm tannins, wonderful savoriness. Flavorful finish. A fabulous mouthfeel. Very, very long. Mostly merlot with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Drink or hold. " (01/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Merlot (92ST, 91RP, 91WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red-ruby. Blackberry and licorice aromas perked up by violet and spices. Juicy and moderately deep, with dark fruit flavors complicated by tobacco and cedar. Not a fat style for this bottling but boasts a solid acid/tannin spine and very good balance--not to mention fruit intensity. (ST)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $96.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Robert Craig Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WE, 92CG, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain bursts from the glass with expressive layers of roasted coffee beans, graphite, scorched earth and tar. It is a massive wine, yet shows remarkable balance and harmony from start to finish. Layers of racy black fruit build towards the muscular, virile finish. Simply put, this is a stunning example of Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain. The 2009 Howell Mountain is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 7% Merlot and 2% Malbec. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029+. (AG)" (12/2011)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1998 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard was bottled earlier than usual as this vintage is not as massive or concentrated as its predecessors. To my palate, the 1998 is good, although I am not convinced it will be long lived. There are 2,300 cases of this 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit-Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc blend. It is supple and elegant, with a complex, evolved bouquet of smoke, black currants, spice box, and cedar. In the mouth, the wine is forward with sweet tannin, gorgeously rich, concentrated fruit, and impressively integrated acidity and tannin. (RP)" (12/2000)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995-1996 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical, including 1-bottle of 1995 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 93VN, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 1996 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 93ST, 90VN, 90WS). Of the 1995 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Made from Bancroft Ranch (34%), Tre Colline (36%), Chabot (19%) and the rest from the St. Helena Home Vineyard, the 1995 is not as complex as the 1994, but it is loaded with fruit. Still an adolescent in its development, it possesses a dense purple color along with a big, sweet bouquet of blackberries and cassis, a youthful mouthfeel, good acidity, full body, abundant fruit and glycerin and a long, heady finish. This vintage was somewhat forgotten because of all the hype surrounding 1994, but it has turned out to be a great one for Bordeaux varietals in Napa. This

Vinous: "The 2014 Rapszodia, Kapcsándy's Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend, is once again utterly compelling. Cabernet Franc aromatics soar from the glass as this majestic, stunningly beautiful wine shows off its pedigree. Vivid, nuanced and finely sculpted, the 2014 hits all the right notes as the flavors and textures build into the huge, enveloping finish. This is the most impressive showing yet from the 2014. Here, too, interplay of richness and energy makes for a captivating wine. (AG) 97+" (12/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also amazing, the 2012 Chardonnay The Judge offers impressive aromas of tangerines, orange marmalade, wet rocks, quince, spring flowers and honeysuckle. Impressively full-bodied and majestic with terrific acidity, it is a tour de force in Chardonnay. Furthermore, it is about as 'natural' as possible. Thankfully, Kongsgaard is not one to deal in the quintessential B.S. that now seems so prevalent. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Mark Herold "Brown Label" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate: "Mark Herold, a well-known consultant, first came to my attention because of the brilliant wines he produced under the name Merus, a brand that has been sold. He now fashions a line-up of interesting and off-beat, hip wines that are priced realistically for as good as they are. His selections called Flux, Acha and Collide are usually blends ranging from white Rhone varietals to red Rhone and Spanish varietals. At the top of the line are his flagship Cabernet Sauvignons called Herold and Herold by Mark Herold." (10/2013)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "There are two monumental wines from these two brothers. Looking first at the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, this beauty does everything right, and if it wasn’t for the 2016, I’d probably have thought it was a perfect wine. Sporting a deep purple color as well as a powerful bouquet of gorgeous crème de cassis and black raspberry fruits intermixed with subtle new oak, camphor, and chocolate, this majestic 2015 hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth, a layered, multi-dimensional texture, and loads of sweet tannins. It shows the exuberant, sexy style of the 2015 vintage yet is always balanced, pure, and even elegant. It’s going to continue drinking brilliantly for another three decades and readers should count themselves lucky if they have some of this elixir in their cellar." (01/2019)

With exceptional intensity, plenty of crème de cassis, vanillin, floral and lead pencil notes, this full-bodied 2012 offers low acidity as well as impressive flavors.
