Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (95RP, 93JH, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of this estate’s flagship wines, the 2003 The Dead Arm Shiraz appears to be better than the 2002. A deeper, richer, fuller-bodied offering that spent time in equal parts French and American oak, it possesses an opaque purple color, great intensity, and a fabulously sweet nose of blackberries, cassis, asphalt, earth, and oak. Powerful, super-concentrated, and obviously fashioned from low yields and old vines, this is a classic McLaren Vale old vine Shiraz that should age nicely for 15+ years. (RP)" (10/2005)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Hentley Farm "The Beauty" Single Block Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (96JH, 92RP, 90JS, 90WE). James Halliday: "Includes 3% viognier, destemmed only, co-fermented, 9 days on skins, matured in French oak (35% new) for 16 months. Vivid crimson-purple; fruit, oak and tannins are in perfect alignment, all expressive, the juicy blackberry and satsuma plum fruit has clearly gained freshness from the viognier, and allows textural complexity free play. A lovely Barossa Valley shiraz." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Hentley Farm "The Beast - Single Block" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (OWC - 96JH, 95JS, 95RP, 92WS) in original wood. James Halliday: "Well I don't know about The Beast, but this is power in liquid form, taking no prisoners. It is unequivocally full-bodied, and should ideally be allowed to mature for a minimum of 5 years, preferably 10. Its black fruits are shot through with spice, licorice and savoury tannins that would do cabernet proud." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $307.00
