Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Kistler "Vine Hill" Russian River Valley Chardonnay ((93-95RP), 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the vineyard in front of the winery, the 2007 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard is a muscular, powerful Chardonnay with notes of citrus oil, wood smoke, roasted nuts, and tropical fruits. Superb concentration, considerable power, and a thick, layered mouthfeel with zesty acidity acts as a wonderful buttress to this large-scaled Chardonnay. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (95ST, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright gold. Wild, complex nose combines orange zest, dried pear, smoky minerals, iodine and a whiff of lees. Deep, stony and precise, with fruit in the background and minerality to the fore. This is a real mouthful of rocks. Becomes spicier and more floral with air and finishes with superb precision and length. " (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $50.88

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((98-100RP), (95-98VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mark Aubert notes that this is a complex vineyard. It is planted to four different clones: two Old Wente clones, Mount Eden and Corton Charlemagne. The 2018 Chardonnay Lauren Estate explodes effortlessly from the glass, emitting flamboyant crystalized ginger, cinnamon stick, green tea and lime cordial notions with suggestions of applesauce, lemongrass, honey-roasted almonds and paraffin wax plus a touch of cedar chest. Full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully earthy/savory, delivering a beautiful oiliness to the texture juxtaposed by spine-tingling purity and freshness, finishing with epic length. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 95ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A special selection of the top barrels (125-150 cases produced), the 2007 Chardonnay The Judge is more backward than the regular Chardonnay, revealing a liqueur of rocks-like character intermixed with hints of almond paste, tropical fruits, quince, and mango. Its incredible length, richness, and depth suggest this wine will benefit from 1-2 years of bottle age, and should keep for over a decade. From a top vintage for proprietor/winemaker John Kongsgaard, the 2007 Chardonnays are among the finest he has made to date. They combine great richness and bold flavor profiles with extraordinary minerality and definition. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 97JS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Giving up zingy lemon zest and grapefruit notes with layer upon layer of chalk dust, marzipan, honeyed brioche and ginger plus a touch of coriander seed, the 2015 Chardonnay UV-SL has a full-bodied powerhouse of a palate that delivers the goods and then some. Perfumed, seductive and drop-dead sexy, this is a real show-stopper of a Chardonnay with intensity and structure to age gracefully over the next 15+ years. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Garenne" (92VN, 90BH, 90ST). Vinous: "Juicy yellow stone fruits, spices, crushed rocks and flint are all woven together nicely in the 2011 Puligny-Montrachet Garenne. Hints of Chamomile and lemon oil add nuance on the layered, highly expressive finish. Balance and harmony are the calling cards. The 2011 can be enjoyed now or aged for a handful of years. (AG)" (09/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 98ST, 98VN). Vinous: "The 2005 Chardonnay The Judge is one of the most impressive California Chardonnays I have ever tasted. An exotic tapestry of orange rind, tangerine, spices, honey and savory herbs unfolds on the palate with stunning grace. The 2005 is rich and oily, yet also remarkably light on its feet for such a big wine. At times, there is a Chevalier-Montrachet-like richness in the glass. Viscous and deeply expressive to the finish, the 2005 is simply breathtaking. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Littorai "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Vinous: "Bright, pale yellow. Pungent aromas of lemon drop, clove and flowers, with a suggestion of exotic fruits. Supple and fresh, with pear and tropical fruit flavors complicated by spicy and herbal nuances. A wine of good but not outstanding depth, in a rather easygoing style. Ted Lemon told me he picked these grapes at a moderate 23.2o Brix before rot had a chance to become established. (ST)" (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Littorai "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard reveals more opulence than its 2003 counterpart, but it exhibits measured orange, lemon blossom, apple, and pear-like flavors, crisp acidity, medium body, and a delicate finish. (RP)" (02/2005)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utterly perfect, the 2008 Chardonnay Marcassin Estate is a dead-ringer for the 2007, but slightly richer and longer, as hard as that may be to believe. This extraordinary effort is unquestionably the 'Chardonnay of the Vintage.' In fact, it may be the 'Chardonnay of the Decade.' Brioche, nectarine, citrus and orange blossom notes intermixed with a liqueur of rocks, great acid, phenomenal concentration and staggering length result in a sublime Chardonnay that should drink well for 15+ years. (RP)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $805.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Referts" ((91-93RP), 92JG, (89-92ST), 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru les Referts has a poised, tightly wound bouquet with hints of blackberry leaf and licorice suggesting that post-bottling, this might turn out to be spicy little number. Nothing wrong with that! The palate is crisp and taut on the entry with a steeliness coming through with aeration, then it lets go during the second half with citrus lemon, orange zest, freshly squeezed lime and a long minerally finish. This is one of the more mercurial Puligny's from Sauzet - very intriguing. (NM)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $422.89

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Ramey "Platt Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94RP, 94ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard is a striking wine. This is the most reticent of Ramey’s 2009 Chardonnays. Stylistically, it is a much more mineral-infused, cool wine in its aromas and flavors, but the voice of the old Wente clones comes through in the wine’s broad-shouldered personality and sheer size. This big Chardonnay appe+ars to have the structure to drink well for years. It is a dazzling effort. This is the first vintage for the Platt, a site that was previously used in the Sonoma Coast bottling. (RP) 94+" (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $165.88

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (99RP, 95WS, 94DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A staggering Chardonnay that’s still an infant, the light yellow/green/gold 2007 offers up notes of unbuttered popcorn, orange liqueur, lemon butter, quince and crushed rocks. It possesses terrific underlying acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a youthfulness and freshness that suggest this wine has two decades of life ahead of it. This majestic Chardonnay seems more French than Californian, but again, this reflects the significance of the labor of these two overachieving, push-the-envelope visionaries. What California viticulture and high-class, minimalist winemaking can achieve is exhibited in bold fashion by this 2007. It will hit its prime in 5-7 years, and appears to be a replay of the 2002 stylistically as well as for its overall potential. (RP) 99+" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 96ST, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chardonnay The Judge sparkles on the palate with brilliant layers of fruit. It is bright, articulate and beautifully centered from start to finish. There is a weightless richness that is almost impossible to describe for its pure elegance. A dazzling, crystalline finish rounds out the flinty, mineral-drenched notes. This is easily the equal of any Chardonnay being made in the world today. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2024. (AG) 98+" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros - Côte de Bougerots" (96BH, 96JG, 95DC, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Once again, based on the nose alone, this could be nothing else but Chablis with its mélange of tidal pool, mineral reduction, citrus blossom and discreet spice nuances. There is fantastic detail to the focused, mineral-driven and powerful middle weight plus flavors that do a slow build from the mid-palate all the way back to the explosively long, balanced and bone dry finish. This appears to be drawn directly from liquid Kimmeridgian and should also amply reward longer-term cellaring. In a word, brilliant." (10/2016)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Mestre-Michelot Meursault 1er Cru "Genevrières" (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Reticent, slightly exotic aromas of orange oil and ginger. Fleshy and sweet, with an almost buttery richness to its soft citrus flavors. Less sharply delineated and a bit warmer than the Charmes but plenty fat. (ST)" (09/2008)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Paul Hobbs Russian River Valley Chardonnay Horizontal, including 2-bottles of 2005 Paul Hobbs "Ritchie Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (93RP, 92WS, 91ST) and 1-bottle of 2005 Paul Hobbs "Ulises Valdez Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (95RP, 93WS, 92ST). Of the 2005 Paul Hobbs "Ulises Valdez Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An elegant effort, the 2005 Chardonnay Ulises Valdez Vineyard reveals notes of orange blossom, pineapple, and peach nicely buttressed by good acidity, fabulous concentration, and an underlying subtle wood smoke character. Ripe and full-bodied with excellent acidity, it should drink well for 4-5 years." (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (93BH, 93RP, 93VN). Vinous: "Bright, pale yellow. Very ripe yet classic Clos aromas of menthol, iodine, silex and wild herbs, with a touch of oyster-shell reduction. Densely packed and fine-grained, with lovely lemony acidity nicely balancing the wine's sweetness. The whiplash of a finish features citrus and herb notes and a positive tartness that calls for some cellaring. Droin told me he picked his Clos fruit in two passes in 2015, five days apart. (ST)" (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $122.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Marcassin "Three Sisters Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chardonnay Three Sisters reveals plenty of candle wax, white currants, peaches, citrus oil and honeysuckle as well as the wet stony minerality that can be found both in the aromatics and flavor profile. It is full-bodied and likely to evolve for 8-10 years or longer. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Dominique Lafon Meursault "Narvaux". Widely regarded as the greatest living producer of Chardonnay in Burgundy, Dominique Lafon presides over the most enviable stable of holdings in Meursault, through both his domaine and his négociant bottlings. This wine, from the Narvaux cru, is classic Lafon and classic Meursault.
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Paul Hobbs Russian River Chardonnay (92CG). Connoisseurs Guide: "We have come to expect expressive, full-blown Chardonnays of high ripeness and high oak from Mr. Hobbs, and this dramatic wine meets all expectations. Its concentrated aromas of baked apples and sweet spices are followed up with deep, wonderfully rich flavors that are long on juicy fruit and extravagant oak. For all of its weight and considerable stuffing, however, it is firmed by fine finishing acids and shows a keen sense of balance rarely found in wines of its ripeness and size. There is no question but that it is an involving wine now, but it has room for two to four years of further improvement. *Two Stars*" (04/2007)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 1986 Domaine Ramonet Montrachet Grand Cru (97JG, 97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "Two 1986 Montrachets provided fascinating contrasts. The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti impressed for its intensity and depth, but I gave an edge to the Ramonet for its sheer energy, minerality and vibrancy, all of which elevate it to the pantheon of immortal, heroic wines. (AG)" (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $3,880.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Littorai "Mays Canyon" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (90VN). Vinous: "Pale yellow. Candied peach, apricot, linden tea, ginseng and vanilla on the nose. Denser and more powerful than the Charles Heintz and Thieriot bottlings, but also uncompromisingly dry and rather laid-back, even youthfully austere. Complex mineral and spice tones suggest that this wine will blossom with a couple years of bottle aging. The malolactic fermentation here did not finish until December of 2007. Ted Lemon is now aging his chardonnays in about 30% new oak, a somewhat lower percentage than a few years ago. (ST) 90+" (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 99JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Kistler "Cuvée Cathleen" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98JD, 96DC, 96RP, 96VN, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming from a ridge of more broken shale soils and 25-year-old vines, the 2017 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard Cuvee Cathleen is a more opulent wine than the more chiseled Kistler Vineyard and offers a beautiful bouquet of golden fruits, pineapple, honeycomb, and rocking levels of salty minerality. It’s fleshy, rounded, and powerful, with a great, great texture as well as a massive finish. This pure, regal, classic Sonoma Chardonnay plays with the best in the world. It can be drunk today or cellared for over a decade." (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Of the 2005 Ramey "Hyde Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A stunning effort, the 2005 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard boasts great intensity along with huge tropical fruit notes interwoven with notions of spring flowers, orange marmalade, white peaches, and steely minerals. Its abundant fruit conceals any evidence of wood. Well-delineated, with outstanding acidity as well as a layered, sumptuous finish, it should age nicely for 4-5 years, possibly longer. One of Northern California’s most successful winemakers/consultants, David Ramey’s personal winery continues to go from strength to strength. Ramey has had the best of both worlds, working in Bordeaux for the Moueix family, and in California at Dominus, Chalk Hill, an

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2010 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Sauzet 2010 Puligny-Montrachet is totally classy and refined. There is a bit of a honeyed quality that gives the Puligny considerable textural richness and viscosity for a village level wine. A soft, seamless finish rounds things out in style. This is a gorgeous showing from Sauzet. (AG)" (08/2012)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 Kistler Sonoma Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2017 Kistler "Cuvée Natalie-Silver Belt" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95RP, 94JD, 94VN, 93DC), 1-bottle of 2017 Kistler "Hyde Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (95DC, 95JD, 95VN, 94RP, 93WS), 1-bottle of 2017 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (99JD, 97DC, 96VN, 95RP, 93WS), 1-bottle of 2017 Kistler "Trenton Roadhouse" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (96JD, 96RP, 95VN, 94DC, 93WS), and 1-bottle of 2017 Kistler "Vine Hill Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (97JD, 96RP, 96VN). Of the 2017 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The two standouts in the lineup include the 2017 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard, which comes from red volcanic soils and 40-year-old dry farmed vines. This magical stuff has incredible notes of white flowers, crushed rocks, salty minerality, and stone fruits. With both power and elegance, it displays bright acidity, a layered, multi-dime

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros "Côte de Bouguerots" (95JG, 94VN, 93BH, 93RP). John Gilman: "(Chablis “Bougros- Côte de Bouguerots”- Domaine William Fèvre) Given how superb the 2015 “regular” Bougros is this year from Domaine Fèvre, I have very high expectations for the Côte de Bouguerots and they were not disappointed! The bouquet is deep, complex and very refined, delivering a fine constellation of green apple, pear, lime, crystalline, chalky minerality, spring flowers and a bit of flintiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is very pure, full-bodied and utterly svelte in profile, with a rock solid core, great cut and grip and outstanding focus on the long, pure and seamlessly balanced finish. This is young and absolutely stunning! Drink between 2020-2050. 95+" (12/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97RP, 95ST, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Chardonnay The Judge is exquisite. Full-bodied with layer upon layer of ripe stone fruits, crushed rocks, and floral notes, it is a honeyed, super-rich Chardonnay displaying a hint of tropical fruits in the long, 40-second finish (a remarkable length for a Chardonnay). (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (96RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Chardonnay Lauren Vineyard is a brilliant effort. One has to admire Aubert’s ability to turn out something of this majesty in such a challenging year when so many Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards were filled with botrytis. Lemon blossom, orange marmalade, and white currant aromas jump from the glass of this light straw-colored cuvee with a greenish hue (a characteristic that also appears in the Aubert 2007s). Beautiful notes of tropical fruits and crushed rocks are present in this gorgeously rich, full-bodied, well-focused Chardonnay. All the Aubert Chardonnays offer abundant power, vivid acidity, and dramatic, laser-like focus. It is hard to find better Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs than those created by Mark Aubert under his Aubert label. (RP)" (12/2008)

It should drink beautifully for 7-8 years. (RP)" (02/2011)
