Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La BAM" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 93RP, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Even better, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Bam boasts a saturated purple hue as well as a feral, wild bouquet of earthy tobacco, bouquet garni, dark chocolate, and assorted cassis and currant-like fruits. With a terrific sense of minerality, full-bodied richness and depth, and a balanced, focused, ageworthy style on the palate, it’s going to benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age and evolve gracefully for 20 years. " (01/2020)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 96VN, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 IX Estate is composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Opaque purple-black colored, the nose is quite closed and shy to begin, slowly unfurling to reveal freshly crushed blackberries, mulberries and blackcurrants plus suggestions of dusty soil, bouquet garni, pencil lead and cast-iron pan with gentle wafts of sandalwood, cardamom, rare beef and black tea. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house, strutting incredibly ripe yet super firm tannins, and it has lovely, uplifting freshness to help define all those black fruit and savory layers, finishing with epic length. Needs time, but this should turn out to be incredibly nuanced and long lived! (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $3,000.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 William & Mary "Shifflett Ranch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93VN). Vinous: "The 2017 Proprietary Red Shifflet Vineyard is gorgeous and also easily one of the most appealing wines of the year. The co-ferment of Merlot and Cabernet Franc works beautifully. In the glass, the 2017 is racy, open-knit and super-expressive, with striking Franc top notes, the Proprietary Red is gorgeous. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $142.56

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon - The O.G." Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 95VN, 92RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The O.G. comes all from clone 337 and a parcel that Carter has used since 2000. This is an older planting with slightly less density, yet it’s produced a ripe, powerful, sexy wine loaded with notions of dark fruits, dark chocolate, tobacco, and spicy incense. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Cade "Estate" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming from estate fruit on Howell Mountain and made from 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% each of Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate offers a darker, more mineral-driven style compared to the Napa release. It has beautiful blackcurrant, cassis, forest floor, graphite, and tobacco leaf-like aromas and flavors. Deep, full-bodied, beautifully polished and elegant, it's another remarkable effort from this team. As Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon goes, it's a brilliant value!" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94VN, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "In the same mold as the La Bam, but with a touch more minerality, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Verdad boasts a deep purple color as well as loads of ripe black cherry and plum fruits intermixed with notes of liquid violets, bouquet garni, and crushed rocks. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, it has notable freshness as well as tannins." (01/2020)

Of the 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Another wine in the running for the wine of the vintage is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard CCS, which, as always, is all Cabernet aged in new Darnajou barrels. This full-bodied, magical 2017 has incredibly polished, silky tannins as well as a mammoth-sized texture and mouthfeel. Loaded with notions of blueberries, white flowers, graphite, candied violets, and incense, it’s one of those wines that carries incredible richness and depth yet never seems heavy or cumbersome. The 2017 doesn’t get much better..." (01/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Venge "Arsenal BDX" Napa Valley Red Blend (90JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 395-case 2017 Red Blend Arsenal BDX checks in as a blend of 42% Cabernet Franc, 31% Merlot, 13% Malbec, 11% Petite Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has attractive notes of assorted darker fruits, chocolate, violets, and leafy herbs as well as plenty of minerality, medium to full body, good mid-palate depth, and a great finish. 2-3 years of bottle age will do it nicely. 90+" (01/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97JS, 95VN). Bid on this bottle of 2017 Realm "Houyi Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard comes from Pritchard Hill (from the Nine Suns property) and is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in roughly 85% new French oak. It has a rocking blue fruit character as well as full-bodied richness, notes of liquid violets, liquid rock, graphite, and spice, medium to full body, beautiful purity, and outstanding length. It's not a blockbuster, but it’s beautifully balanced and just a classy, elegant wine." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Mending Wall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinous: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a bold, powerful wine. Super-ripe dark black cherry, licorice and chocolate all build in the glass. The 2017 is a solid entry-level wine in the range, but there is no getting around the slightly grainy, rough-around-the-edges tannins in this vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, (93-95RP), 94JS, 93DC, 93W&S, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "From the producer's first site that was planted in 1970, this wine is sumptuous in blackberry, fig and dark chocolate. A bright wisp of cassis shines on the midpalate, enlivening the bold, supple texture. Underlying layers of crushed rock and iron provide a welcome and intriguing minerality that highlights the finish. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (12/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JD, 95JS, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Based mostly on Cabernet Sauvignon (87%) and a small amount of Merlot (13%), the 2017 The Bard is another ripe, sexy wine that has more sweetness of fruit than most in the vintage. Black cherries, blackberries, scorched earth, graphite, and some violets notes all dominate the nose, and it's beautifully textured and balanced on the palate. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $335.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "The Grand Daddy - Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another wine with some upside, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The Grand Daddy comes all from the Clone 4 of Cabernet Sauvignon and a great, great valley floor site. It offers a more focused, chiseled, structured style than normal and has beautiful notes of blackcurrants, cassis, dark chocolate, graphite, and ample earthy minerality. It’s a rock star of a wine, yet 4-5 years of bottle age are warranted." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97IWR, 97RP, 96JD, 96JS, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color and prances out of the glass with vivacious blackberries, crushed black cherries, warm black currants and red currant jelly scents plus exotic hints of cassia, cardamom, fenugreek and star anise with a waft of underbrush. Medium-bodied, the palate has fantastic energy and beautiful poise, with bags of bright, crunchy black and red fruit plus a firm, fine-grained texture, finishing long and spicy. (LPB) 97+" (10/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Winemaker Benoit Touquette hit a home run with the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, which is possibly the wine of the vintage. Based mostly on Cabernet Sauvignon from a magical, first growth site just outside of St. Helena, it reveals a deep purple hue as well as powerful notes of blackcurrant liqueur, chocolate, unsmoked tobacco, and gravelly earth. With its full-bodied richness, sweet tannins, and opulent texture, you’d never guess it came from the 2017 vintage. It’s a remarkable achievement for an incredibly talented team. I suspect it might close down with 2-4 years of bottle age, so I’d either try a bottle immediately on release or do your best to hold off for 7-8 years." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $347.67

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Venge "Bone Ash Vineyard" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 92JD). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a 100% varietal and estate-farmed wine, unabashedly rich, ripe and luxurious in approach. Spicy tar and leather lead to an explosive midpalate of wild berry, cocoa powder and graphite, with a tight texture of firm tannins. The opulence doesn't detract from the structure. It will do well in the cellar. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $220.00
