Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the southeastern AVA Coombsville in the Vaca Mountains, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from white tufa and decomposed red volcanic sedimentary soils. For whatever reason, it seems that people who buy from this vineyard make better wine than the actual owners, which I'm sad to say, is not exactly what proprietors Tom and Frank Farella would like to hear. This is a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon made from clones 4 and 8, offering a rich nose of blackberries, dark earth, a touch of barrique, and some baking spices. The wine is rich, full-bodied, tannic and backward. Deep and super-concentrated, it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, but should last another 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 92JS) and 1-bottle of 2013 Familiar Air Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP). Of the 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is striking. Powerful and dense in the glass, with utterly mesmerizing balance, the 2013 hits all the right spots. Graphite, smoke, grilled herbs, black cherries and incense form a tapestry of aromas and flavors that simply dazzles. The 2013 needs time in bottle for the tannins to soften, but it is a real head-turner. The combination of intense tannin and opulent fruit is classic 2013. (AG) 95+" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Joseph Phelps Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JS, 91RP, 91VN). A pretty combination of subtle fruit and wood. Should come together beautifully." (01/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Male" California Syrah (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like with the 2013 Grenache, I was thrilled to be able to taste the 2013 Syrah Male again (twist my arm), and it continues to impress. Giving up fabulous blackberry, bouquet garni, peppery herbs and minerality, this full-bodied, beautifully textured, concentrated and layered Syrah has ultra-fine tannin, impeccable balance and a great finish. Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Hubert Lamy Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru "Haute Densité" (96JG). John Gilman: "Olivier Lamy makes one of the most brilliant examples of Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet and his 2013 is stupendous. The absolutely magical young nose soars from the glass in a blend of lemon, apple, pear, chalky minerality, spring flowers, a hint of the smokiness to come, lemon zest and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is [pure, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with great transparency, snappy acids and superb length and grip on the beautifully focused and electric finish. A great, great wine in the making! 96+" (11/2014)
Starting Bid: $601.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Hunnicutt Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Hunnicutt’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot, is stunning. Overseen by winemaker Kirk Venge, the son of legendary Nils Venge, this 568-case cuvée a is terrific. Sweet blackberry fruits jump from the glass, the wine broad, savory and full-bodied with beautiful purity and intensity. It’s also a great value in Napa Cabernet Sauvignon given the quality. Drink it over the next 20 years. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 97JS, 96VN, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard is a rival for the 2012. Opaque purple, with blueberry and blackberry fruit, a hint of incense and subtle toast, the wine has great intensity, incredible richness and, again, a floral blue- and black-fruited nose and flavor profile that is remarkable. The finish goes on for close to a minute. This is slightly more tightly knit than the more ostentatious 2012, but both are wines to taste and drink before you die! (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,155.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a top bottling from one of the appellation's first superstar wineries. Aromas of baked red cherry and red plum are dusted with nutmeg, clove and a crushed-slate minerality. The palate is lively with dried fennel, white sage and an earthy mintiness, which all give spice to the underlying base of ripe raspberry fruit. It's extremely delicious and deeply layered. Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, including fruit from some of the oldest Cabernet vines still in existence in Napa. This full-bodied classic displays notes of forest floor, earth, crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, licorice and some pen ink. It is dense, full-bodied, prodigiously rich, massive in intensity, yet relatively light on its feet. This great ballerina of a wine has extraordinary ripeness but pulls back from the edge before going over the top. There are 1,000 cases of this classic, which should age effortlessly for 30+ years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $445.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Castello dei Rampolla "Sammarco" Toscana (98VN, 97WS, 95RP, 94JS, 93WE). Vinous: "The 2013 Sammarco is a stunning wine. Super-expressive aromatics make a strong opening statement in a wine endowed with myriad dimensions of nuance and complexity. The 2013 is deep and fleshy, with generous fruit, beautifully integrated tannins and exceptional finesse. Readers should not plan on opening a bottle of this any time soon, though, as it seems likely to age at a glacial pace. (AG)" (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $171.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Vineyard 29 "Aida Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "On the valley floor, with an almost Châteauneuf du Pape layer of small stones, is the Aida Estate, one of my favorite vineyards just north of St. Helena. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc aged 20 months in three-fourths new French oak. The good news is that there are 800 cases of this magnificent wine, with a somewhat Graves-like scorched-earth, charcoal, burning ember-scented nose, with notes of hot earth, blackberry and cassis fruit. Big, full-bodied, exuberant and rich, this thick, unctuously textured, purple wine should drink beautifully for 25-30 or more years. (RP)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (01/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 98RP, 97VN, 96JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the original Oakville estate, the 2013 Proprietary Red (which spends most of its time in T-5 Taransaud as well as Darnajou new oak) is a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. It is a magnificent wine, tasting like a Pauillac from Oakville. The wine has notes of cedar wood, fruitcake, graphite, incense and charcoal embers interwoven with blackberry, cassis and unsmoked cigar tobacco. Full-bodied and multi-layered, with exceptional purity and depth, its great intensity and richness make this a prodigious effort that should drink well for 30 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Hall "Jack's Masterpiece" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Jack’s Masterpiece, which is a blend from their finest vineyards, displays super-sweet tannins, an opaque purple color and beautiful crème de cassis, blueberry and blackberry fruit. Its flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol and its opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel make for a true elixir and fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon to drink now or cellar for 25-30 more years. I would still try to defer gratification for 2-3 years prior to drinking this big boy. It has three decades-plus of longevity. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Plumpjack "Estate" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Oakville is a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot aged in 80% new French oak. A beautiful, saturated purple color offers up blackberry, crème de cassis, licorice, charcoal and camphor. Full-bodied, yet still youthful and tight, it is bursting with terrific purity, texture and length. This big, classic Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon will hit its prime in 10-15 years, and last 30 or more years, based on how older vintages from this sector have aged. It's a beauty. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Rivers-Marie Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (91VN, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a dark, brooding beauty. Far less open and accessible than the 2012 was at the same stage, the 2013 is a real powerhouse. Black cherries, smoke, plums, spices, new leather and smoke hit the palate as this brooding, intense Pinot shows off its personality. Hints of lavender and violets add nuance on the close. The 2013 was made from fully destemmed fruit. Readers will need to be patient with the 2013, as it needs at least a year or two in barrel. This is one of the very best Pinots readers will find for the money, from any region. (AG)" (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $72.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" Paso Robles Red Blend (97RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The top wine of the estate and a blend that was the reason Stephan left Pomerol, the 2013 Estate Cuvee checks in as 43% Syrah, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot that comes all from his estate vineyard. It's locked and loaded with black and blue fruit, crushed rock, licorice and ground herbs, and I wrote that it seemed like it was filtered through a rocky riverbed in my notes. Serious, structured and tight, yet fabulously concentrated and pure, it needs 3-4 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades. (JD) 97+" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95DC, 95JG, 94RP, 94VN, 92BH). Decanter: "It was Jeremy Seysses of Burgundy’s Domaine Dujac who alerted me to the amazing things that Kevin Harvey and his team at Rhys are doing, and that seems appropriate as the wines certainly seem to nod to Dujac’s style. The 2013 Alpine Vineyard Pinot Noir is one of the most compelling young wines I’ve tasted from Rhys. Its youthful and savoury bouquet of crisp red and black cherry, fresh herbs, cinnamon and rich forest floor is followed on the palate by a wine of impressive vibrancy and depth. Rhys wines are built for the cellar, and the handful of older bottles I’ve encountered suggests that patience really is rewarded. Drinking Window 2021 - 2045 (WK)"

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful ripe, plump, fat and opulent style of Cabernet Sauvignon that Caymus has pioneered, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense purple color, loads of juicy blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, low acidity and no real evidence of oak, but a nice, plush, full-bodied opulence. This is irresistible, especially for a Cabernet Sauvignon coming in at 14.9% natural alcohol. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $90.50

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98RP). James Suckling: "This is shows complex aromas of chili, red tile and red currant aromas. Full-bodied, dense and powerful. It is so intense and rich yet remains agile and fresh. Austere tannins give this wine form and tension. Lively and captivating. Beautiful now but be patient. " (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Rousten" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Franc (90VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Franc Rousten offers good richness and power, but less in the way of varietal character. The Rousten is more a wine from Ridge than a true expression of Cabernet Franc. On its own, the 2013 is attractive, if less distinguished than the other wines in the range. (AG)" (07/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 95JS, 95W&S, 94CG, 94DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Insignia (their 40th vintage) is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, and the rest Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. This wine is aged 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels, and the production can vary from just over 10,000 cases to nearly 20,000 cases in a very abundant vintage. There were 12,300 cases produced in 2013, and this vintage of Insignia is certainly going to turn out to be one of the great ones. The wine offers a stunning inky blue/purple color, a gorgeous nose of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, pen ink, graphite, new saddle leather and barrique. The wine has fabulous concentration, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, and tremendous finish with moderate tannin. It’s interesting to note that the Phelps winemaking staff had been gradually reducing the amount of Merlot in this

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 RPM Wines El Dorado Gamay Noir (93VN). Vinous: "Rose petals, mint, savory herbs and punchy red fruit jump from the glass in RPM's 2013 Gamay Noir. Racy and exuberant, with gorgeous fruit, the 2013 hits all the right notes. As always, the Gamay Noir is floral, lifted and savory, with pulsating acidity that helps make it a fabulous wine for the table. (AG)" (01/2015)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94DC, 90WS). Decanter: "An attractive nose of brambles, blackberry and spice, with tapenade and provencal herbs, followed by a well-structured palate of grippy tannins and vibrant acidity. Influences from new and old American oak give slight hints of toasted coconut. Silver Oak has sustainable vineyards based in Alexander Valley. Drinking Window 2018 - 2030 (RS)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 The Vineyard House Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a structured, substantial wine, grippy on the palate, with firm-grained tannin and smoky oak. Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The flagship wine, and one of the first in Napa Valley to emphasize the fabulous potential of Cabernet Franc in specific terroirs, is the 2013 Maya Proprietary Red Wine. This wine usually spends about 22 months in new oak and normally has anywhere from 45% to as much as 60% Cabernet Franc blended with the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2013 could well be the finest they’ve made to date, and that includes a lot of profound wines. An incredibly complex nose of charcoal embers, blackberry and cassis, some blueberries as well as white flowers, and a touch of forest floor is followed by a full-bodied wine with sweet, well-integrated tannins, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is absolutely remarkable wine – powerful, dense, but at the sane time, precise and elegant. It’s hard to believe, but I think this wine can pr

This wine displays loads of new saddle leather, loamy soil undertones, seductive, sweet, ripe tannin, and luscious, succulent and majestic levels of blackberry and blueberry fruit as well as cassis and Christmas fruitcake. It is an amazing wine to drink over the next 30+ years. (RP)" (10/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another perfect wine from Ann Colgin and her winemaking team is the 2013 IX Proprietary Red Estate, a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot. An absolutely compelling wine, with notes of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry and cassis, it has the full smorgasbord of black and blue fruits, wonderfully integrated, toasty oak, acidity and tannin, a floral note that is unmistakable, and great richness, density and purity. It is an utterly exceptional wine and a tribute to not only a great vineyard, but impeccable winemaking and upbringing. Drink through 2045. (RP)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Orin Swift "Papillon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Papillon Proprietary Red is 100% from Napa and is a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. This killer wine has an inky purple color and offers notes of espresso roast intermixed with white chocolate, creme de cassis, blackberry and a touch of toasty oak. The wine was aged 16 months in French oak, of which 40% was new. Broad and opulent, with great intensity, purity and depth, this is another stunner from Dave Phinney, a.k.a. Orin Swift. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 99VN, 97DC, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As I predicted last year, the 2013 Harlan Estate is one of their all-time greats, although they have had many of them, starting with the 1991, followed by 1994, 1995, 1997 (although controversial in some circles), 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2012. This great first-growth property, with aspirations to produce the finest Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine made in the New World, has given us a wine that has it all in 2013. Dense purple to the rim, with notes of espresso, white chocolate, mocha, blackberry, cassis, and cedar wood, the wine is full-bodied, opulent, but also structured, pure and incredibly long (well past a minute aftertaste). It is probably closest in personality and overall character to the compelling 2001, which is still a youthful wine at age 15. Drink it over the next 50+ years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $2,145.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 95RP, 94VN, 92WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon, which is hardly a second wine by any means, offers beautiful blackcurrant fruit with some cedar wood/sandalwood notes, an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, stunning purity, and that layered texture that is so enticing. The wine has a beautiful opaque purple color, hints of graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a touch of licorice and the soil undertones that some would say are part of the so-called 'Rutherford dust' scenario, although that's debatable. This wine has the sweetness and opulence to be drunk young, but won't hit its prime for at least another 5-8 years and keep for 20-30. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Henri Boillot Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (93BH, 92VN, 91RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A restrained and discreetly spicy nose features primarily notes of dark berry fruit liqueur and earth scents. There is an unusually refined mouth feel to the powerful, focused and intense medium weight plus flavors that terminate in a youthfully austere finish that exhibits impeccably good balance. This is a lovely example of the appellation that should age well but thanks to the fine grain of the tannins should also be approachable after only a few years of bottle age." (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Hall "Rainin Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95WE, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rainin Vineyard is from a Diamond Mountain site of eight acres. The wine is dense ruby/purple, flawlessly constructed with gorgeous blackberry and blueberry fruit, a stunning almost endless finish, great purity and fabulous palate presence. This is provocative as well as prodigious Cabernet Sauvignon, that’s as good as it gets. This should drink well for 20 to 25 years and is a tribute to the incredible efforts and progress Kathryn Hall has made in such a short period of time. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Odette Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93JS, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate exhibits graphite, blackberry and cassis, chocolate and a touch of mineral in a full-bodied, layered and impressively pure style. It’s a big wine for Stags Leap (15.4% alcohol), but gorgeously pure, with everything well-knit into a sensational equilibrium. This is only a baby, but promises to hit its peak in 7-10 years and last 25-30. (RP) 95+" (12/2015)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An utterly prodigious effort that would most likely be the wine of the vintage if not for its big brother, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard comes all from Red Mountain and was raised in 100% new French oak. Revealing a healthy ruby/purple color and classic notes of sage brush, graphite, black cherries, currants and chocolate, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness; building, present, yet ripe and polished tannin; perfect integration of its fruit, alcohol and oak; and awesome length. This is a powerhouse Cabernet Sauvignon that still holds onto a sense of elegance and finesse. Forget it for 4-5 years and drink bottles over the following two decades. (JD)" (06/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Keenan "Reserve" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN). Vinous: "A big, bold wine, the attention-grabbing 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a lot to say. The vertical sense of structure allied to deep fruit results in a complex, multi-faceted Cabernet endowed with pedigree and intrigue. Sage, tobacco, menthol, black cherries and licorice gradually open up in the glass. Like most of the 2013s here, the Reserve is going to require quite a bit of patience, but it is full of potential. 95+ (AG)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (96RP, 94JG, 93DC, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The star of the whites was the 2013 Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard. Tasting like a Grand Cru Chablis with its incredibly pure lemon curd, flinty minerality, brioche and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, laser focused, crisp and crystalline on the palate. It's a stunning Chardonnay that will compete with the creme de la creme of Chardonnays. (JD)" (10/2015)

Of the 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate is oddly enough quite civilized and even a touch tame by Petite standards. There is plenty of inky blue/black-fleshed fruit but the tannins are surprisingly soft. Game, smoke and a hint of tobacco add nuance through the mid-palate and finish. The 2013 is a beautiful wine, but readers expecting a full-on Petite experience might be slightly disappointed, as this is an especially tamed Petite with varietal character that has largely been subdued. Ridge remains one of the finest operations I visit anywh

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (96VN, 95RP, 93BH, 93JG). Vinous: "An absolute triumph from Rhys, the 2013 Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard is all about translucence and a total sense of weightlessness. The flavors are lifted and precise throughout in an utterly captivating Pinot that captures the essence of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Hints of rose petal, dark red cherry, anise and licorice grace the haunting, exquisite finish. The Horseshoe is arguably the most refined of these 2013 Pinots from Rhys. (AG)" (07/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Foxen "Bien Nacido Vineyard - Block 8" Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 95WE, 93CG, 93VN, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An incredible, profound Pinot Noir, Foxen's 2013 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard Block 8 was completely destemmed and aged 17 months in 50% new French oak. Its deep ruby color is followed by sensational notes of sweet cherries, black raspberries, crushed flowers and a touch of licorice. Medium to full-bodied, layered and multi-dimensional, with seamless texture, this is California Pinot Noir at its finest. (JD)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97DC, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are roughly 600 cases of the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, all of which comes from the Weitz Vineyard on the eastern Vaca Mountain hillside of Oakville at an elevation of about 1,000 feet above the Silverado Trail. This is shallow soil interspersed with loads of pebbles and stones. This wine is incredible first-growth material – a magical Cabernet Sauvignon with an opaque purple color, an extraordinary nose of blackberry and cassis, white flowers, crushed rock and minerality followed by a full-bodied majestic mouthfeel with phenomenal balance, purity and overall equilibrium. Stunningly rich and impressive, this wine will hit its peak in 8-10 years and has the potential to last 40-50 years. For those who keep track of such things, the wine was completely aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud barrels. (RP)" (10/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Rhys "Alpine Hillside" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (99JG, 96RP, 96VN, 92BH). John Gilman: "Unlike the Horseshoe Hillside, the Alpine Hillside bottling does include just a touch more whole clusters than the 'regular' Alpine cuvée, but otherwise the wine has been treated exactly the same in the cellars prior to bottling. The bouquet is pure, complex and absolutely stunning in its youthful magnificence, offering up notes of black cherries, black plums, a stunning base of minerality, a potpourri of botanicals, a touch of gamebird, graphite, incipient notes of the autumnal elements to come, a touch of youthful stems and a refined framing of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and light on its feet, with a sappy core, great transparency, moderate, beautifully integrated tannins and a long, tangy and still fairly youthful finish. This is more accessible out of the blocks than the Horseshoe Hillside, but it too is really built for the long haul
Starting Bid: $181.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault (92RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Meursault (this the Narvaux bottling) has a straight-down-the-line, flinty/burnt match nose that we have all come know and love from this domaine. Frankly, nobody achieves the precision like this. The palate is very flattering with great volume married with fine acidity, hints of peach and tangerine, lively and vivacious with a long and tender finish that just goes on and on. This is one of those wines I'll be hunting for on restaurant lists around Burgundy. (NM)" (01/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Arnot-Roberts "Clary Ranch" Sonoma Coast Syrah (94VN). Vinous: "A gorgeous, resonant wine, the 2013 Syrah Clary Ranch is a real standout. Savory and floral overtones add nuance to the dark fruit in a rich, resonant wine built on texture. Here, too, the 100% whole clusters are pretty much buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. Silky and pliant through to the finish, the 2013 Clary Ranch should drink beautifully for the next decade-plus. (AG)" (01/2015)
