Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Sine Qua Non "Dark Blossom" California Grenache (97RP, 97VN, (93-95ST)). Vinous: "The 2011 Grenache Dark Blossom emerges from the glass with darker tonalities of fruit and firmer tannin compared to the 2012. Vivid, complex and nuanced, the 2011 is flat-out stunning today. Grilled herbs, smoke, sage, mint and black cherries linger on the explosive, structured finish. (AG)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $418.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Kongsgaard "The Judge" Napa Valley Chardonnay (96VN, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2011 Chardonnay The Judge has come together beautifully since I tasted it last year. Lemon, white flowers, crushed rocks and pears meld together in a totally seamless Chardonnay endowed with stunning depth and purity. There are no hard edges at all in this impeccable, nuanced Chardonnay. This is a great showing from Kongsgaard. (AG)" (11/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Joseph Faiveley Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru.
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Bernard Boisson-Vadot Meursault 1er Cru "Genevrières". Bernard's children, Pierre and Anne, who now work the Boisson-Vadot vineyards and oversee winemaking also produce under their own labels separately. William Kelly of Wine Advocate wrote this of Bernard: "In his day, Bernard Boisson was one of the village's latest harvesters, and his wines only spent a year on the lees: much of the production was sold to the négociants. With Pierre's arrival at the domaine some fifteen years ago, that has changed dramatically: the domaine has returned, as Bernard puts it, to do things as they were done in his grandfather's era. That means early harvesting, little débourbage, long sur lie élevage ranging from 19 to 22 months, and restrained use of new oak—up to 30%, largely from Saint-Romain's Tonnellerie Gillet. The entire production is now bottled without filtration."
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Aston Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Pinot Noir Aston Estate is gorgeous. Sweet red berries, hard candy, crushed flowers, spices and tobacco are some of the many notes that are woven into this attractive, floral Pinot. The 2011 offers an attractive combination of minerality and that distinctive expression of fruit that is so typical of the Sonoma coast. This is a gorgeous effort. In 2011, yields came in at just one ton per acre and the harvest finished on October 2, exceedingly late for Pinot. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Sine Qua Non "Dark Blossom" California Syrah (99RP, 96VN, (94-95ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Syrah Dark Blossom showed even better from bottle than barrel. A blend of 84% Syrah, 8% Grenache, 4% Petite Sirah and the rest Roussanne and Petite Manseng, this beauty was fermented with 17% whole clusters and aged in equal parts new and used French oak. One of the shining successes in the vintage, it’s a full-bodied, concentrated and layered Syrah that has awesome aromatics of blackcurrants, Peking duck, pepper, licorice and charcuterie in its seamless, thrillingly pure profile. As with Manfred’s other 2011s, the tannins are certainly present, yet they’re sweet, polished and have no hard edges. Give this beauty 2-3 years in the cellar and enjoy bottles through 2031. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro (95RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Tinto (Vale d. Maria), i.e, the flagship estate wine from the Quinta, is an old vines (65 years) field blend. Approximately three-fourths of the juice was fermented in tank, the rest in lagares. Then transferred to barrel, two thirds of the juice was aged in new French oak for 21 months, the other third in a mixture of second and third pass oak. It is listed at 15% alcohol. Tightly wound, a bit brooding and powerful this year, this is a big boy in terms of structure, showing astringency on the finish, yet it seems also to show fine balance overall, managing to project some elegance, notwithstanding its underlying power. The graceful mid-palate is beautifully constructed, not jammy or thick, but still concentrated. It has a persistent finish. Beneath the oaky overlay, there is fine fruit as well as that impressive structure. This promises to be exceptional if you have a lit
Starting Bid: $257.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 96RP, 95WE, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Possibly the Cabernet Sauvignon of the vintage is Shafer’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. Last year I thought it was a strong effort, but it’s even better now that it’s been bottled. With an opaque black/purple color and notes of subtle burning charcoal embers, blueberry, blackberry and graphite, the wine has a certain Bordelais minerality, but then the richness of Napa kicks in. It’s full-bodied (somewhat unusual for a 2011) with lighter tannins, and no doubt the wine will be on a faster evolutionary track than vintages such as 2010, 2012 and 2013. Nevertheless, the Shafers and Elias said this was the toughest vintage they’d ever experienced. To be able to produce a compelling wine like this is a testament to their extraordinary skills and craftsmanship. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Le Corton Grand Cru (96WE, (92-94BH), (89-93ST), (89-92WS)). Wine Enthusiast: "This is powerful and rich, allowing just a note of freshness to creep into the firm structure. Dark tannins, black fruits and smoky wood flavors combine harmoniously, lending a sense of great power and long-term aging potential. (RV)" (09/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky reveals lots of cassis, spring flower, graphite and spice characteristics along with good minerality. Medium to full-bodied and strikingly rich, it, too, is a great success for the vintage. It should drink well for 15 or more years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Triangle Block Old Vines" Sonoma County Carignane. Winemaker's notes: "Aromas of ripe cherry together with exotic oak and gravelly minerality. Flavors of bramble fruit with lively acidity, medium body, and a sweet oak finish. Very layered and complex."
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée "Les Jachées". Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A classic Vosne aromatic profile is redolent of an impressive array of spice elements along with notes of plum and violets. " (01/2013)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Christopher Tynan Wines "Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard is a very good wine, especially within the context of the vintage. Scorched earth, smoke, leather, licorice, bittersweet chocolate and dark fruit develop in the glass, with an extra kick of energy from the cool vintage that adds an extra dimension of savoriness. (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah (94JS, 94VN, 92WS, 91ST). Vinous: "The 2011 Syrah Eisele Vineyard is rich, dense, textured and also incredibly primary. Smoke, tar, game, black pepper, plum and licorice notes emerge, but only with great reluctance. The 2011 remains intense and resonant in its fruit, but also very young, somber and almost raw. Readers will have to give the 2011 at least a few years in bottle. Once again, Araujo's Eisele Syrah is incredibly distinctive and intense. The 2011 was fermented with 10-15% whole clusters, with a splash of Viognier. According to vineyard manager Caleb Mosley Syrah was the least problematic variety in 2011, as all the fruit came in before the rains. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $235.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Schrader Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Horizontal (OWC) (OWC), including 1-bottle of 2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 91VN, 90WS), 1-bottle of 2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 93WS), and 1-bottle of 2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 91RP, 91WS). Of the 2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is classic Schrader. Layers of dark blue/black fruit, smoke, licorice, mocha, mint, violets and orange peel gradually unfold in a striking wine endowed with superb balance, class and nuance. Everything is wonderfully delineated, yet the 2011 has plenty of the richness Schrader fans are used to. Here it is the Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon that speaks with great eloquence. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Cayuse Walla Walla Valley Syrah Horizontal, including 1-bottle of 2011 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 96WE, 94DC, 94VN, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2011 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98WE, 96RP, 94ST, 94WS). Of the 2011 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Wine Enthusiast writes: "The immediate impression is of savory umami aromas pierced with pine needle and sage highlights. Red and black licorice, along with sweet cured meats, bring complexity to fruit flavors of berry, cherry and plum. Toss in Provençal spices, coffee grounds and the classic Cayuse earthiness that continues through a deep, firm, beautifully defined finish. *Cellar Selection* (PG)" (02/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Torre Ranch - Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Petite Verdot (91VN). Vinous: "Mocha, plum, smoke, licorice and cassis are some of the notes that meld together in the 2011 Torre Petit Verdot Historic Vineyard. The flavor profile and darkness are typical of Petit Verdot, but the cooler vintage, with its correspondingly high acidity, and light Ridge hand in vinification have resulted in an unusually supple, radiant Petit Verdot with considerable near-term appeal." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Morlet "Mon Chevalier" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((91-93VN), 91RP, 91ST). Vinous: "There are plenty of Knights Valley signatures in the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier. Today the tannins are quite massive and imposing, which attenuates the finish a touch, yet the wine's overall balance is quite strong. The 2011 is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94VN, 93ST, (89-91RP), 91WS). Vinous: "One of the wines of this challenging Napa Valley harvest, the 2011 Maya is impressive. Textural beauty is front and center, but it will be at least another few years before the aromas and flavors start to show the full breadth of complexity and nuance that has always been present in barrel. The deep, intense finish is simply dazzling in a magnificent Maya that should drink well for many, many years. (AG)" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Decant and serve at 60-65 degrees, Tusk recommends of this 150-case release. It's sourced primarily from Oakville and Prichard Hill and several other sub-appellations throughout Napa Valley, and is a project from wine consultant Phillipe Melka and partners. The winery notes: "In a Bordeaux year, the 2011 Tusk displays the major components of California Style. Throughout the growing season, the sun was able to develop layers of complexity in a the fruit resulting in great concentration of flavor and rich ripeness. The 2011 portrays the feminine side of the wine with a wonderful sweetness and ripeness from the fruit, along with great acidity which will aid in the aging process."
Starting Bid: $1,160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (96WE, 93RP, 92JG, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "So smooth, this is a rich, grandiose wine. Although it is full of black currant fruits and spice flavors, the texture is most impressive. Dusty tannins are integrated with juicy fruits seamlessly. The purest fruit flavors are allied to linear tannins in a precise yet generous way. The wine is evolving beautifully, but do not drink before 2020. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine de Montille Clos Vougeot Grand Cru ((91-93ST), (89-92BH)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Lovely high-pitched aromas of black cherry, blackberry, licorice and violet. Deep, sappy and vinous, with an enticing savory/sweet quality to the intense flavors of wild dark berries, violet and graphite. Finishes with firm-edged tannins, a very primary medicinal black cherry note, and lovely floral lift. This will need at least four or five years of bottle aging. (ST)" (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Pagani Ranch" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (91ST, 90VN, 90WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(includes 18% alicante bouschet, 3% petite sirah and 1% mataro): Inky ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry, dark berries, dried rose and musky earth, with a hint of vanilla in the background. Smooth and fleshy on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering bitter cherry and cassis flavors that are lifted by gentle acidity. Fine-grained tannins give shape to a focused finish with sustained cherry and floral notes." (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine de la Janasse "Vieilles Vignes" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96RP, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "And a candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is always a rough blend of 85% Grenache and the balance Syrah, Mourvedre, Clairette and other permitted varieties, that has the Grenache aged all in foudre and the Syrah and Mourvedre aged in one-third new barrels (that’s less than 6% of the blend in new barrels). Exhibiting gorgeous black fruits, spice-box, toast, licorice and roasted meat-like qualities on the nose, it is full-bodied, concentrated and layered on the palate, with loads of texture, yet delivers no weight, heat, or ever puts a foot wrong. Shockingly good in the vintage, it should not be missed. Hats off to Christophe and Isabelle. (JD)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Morlet "Bouquet Garni" Bennett Valley Syrah (93RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Syrah Bouquet Garni is 100% Syrah from a hillside site in Bennett Valley with rocky, clay and volcanic soils. The wine was aged 14 months in French oak and was fermented with indigenous yeasts. An exceptionally strong effort, it exhibits a dense purple color along with a big, sweet nose of roasted herbs, licorice, charcuterie and smoked duck. There is great fruit on both the attack and medium to full-bodied, velvety textured, opulent mouthfeel. It should drink nicely for 7-8 years. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $130.00
