2011 Dujac Fils et Père Morey-St.-Denis
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Dujac Fils et Père Morey-St.-Denis (90JG). John Gilman: " I have always found the Dujac Morey AC one of the most refined and elegant versions in the village and the 2011 will be excellent. The deep and classy nose wafts from the glass in a blend of plums, cherries, cocoa, lovely soil tones, a touch of blood orange and a topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is fullish, pure and very elegant, with a good core, moderate tannins and fine grip on the tangy and focused finish. This will be a lovely village wine! (Drink between 2018-2040)" (11/2012)

2011 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru ((92-94BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An intensely floral nose also displays a broad array of spice elements on the ripe yet cool red berry fruit suffused nose. There is fine concentration and real depth of material to the pure, intense and broad-scaled flavors that also display plenty of dry extract that buffers the firm structure and imparts a velvety texture to the austere and very serious finish. This is also terrific. Drink 2026+. " (01/2013)

2011 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 96RP, 95WE, 94VN, 93WS, 91CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Possibly the Cabernet Sauvignon of the vintage is Shafer’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. Last year I thought it was a strong effort, but it’s even better now that it’s been bottled. With an opaque black/purple color and notes of subtle burning charcoal embers, blueberry, blackberry and graphite, the wine has a certain Bordelais minerality, but then the richness of Napa kicks in. It’s full-bodied (somewhat unusual for a 2011) with lighter tannins, and no doubt the wine will be on a faster evolutionary track than vintages such as 2010, 2012 and 2013. Nevertheless, the Shafers and Elias said this was the toughest vintage they’d ever experienced. To be able to produce a compelling wine like this is a testament to their extraordinary skills and craftsmanship. This wine can be drunk now or cellared for another 15-20 years.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Thorevilos is surprisingly open and expressive today, which just makes it all the more pleasurable to taste. Grilled herbs, cedar, tobacco, cloves and licorice add dimensions of nuance to a dark, sumptuous wine endowed with striking balance and pure class. (AG)" (12/2014)

2011 Ceritas "Porter-Bass" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Ceritas "Porter-Bass" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94VN, 93ST). Vinous: "A totally gorgeous wine, the 2011 Chardonnay Porter-Bass Vineyard has developed beautifully since I tasted it last year. Today, it is the wine's broad shoulders and sense of structure that stand out most. The 2011 boasts fabulous energy, vibrant minerality and terrific overall balance. The intensely saline finish leaves a lasting impression. (AG)" (02/2014)

2011 Sine Qua Non "The Moment" California White Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Sine Qua Non "The Moment" California White Blend (95RP, 94VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Starting off the tasting and a prodigious, unctuous white, the 2011 The Moment checks in as a blend of 57% Roussanne, 19% Petit Manseng, 17% Chardonnay and 7% Viognier that spent 16 months in a combination of concrete, new and used barrels, and stainless steel. Offering up notions of marzipan, citrus oil flowers, marmalade and spiced apricots, it flows onto the palate with full-bodied richness and depth that's balanced by beautiful underlying freshness and clarity. While I would lean towards drinking bottles over the coming 2-3 years, these can absolutely age, and have upwards of 10-15+ years of longevity. Drink now-2017+. (JD)" (08/2013)

2011 Abreu "Las Posadas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Abreu "Las Posadas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96VN, 95RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Howell Mountain is nearly as thrilling from bottle as it was from barrel. Blackberry jam, grilled herbs, mocha, espresso, violets and savory herbs are laced together in an exotic tapestry of aromas, flavors and textures. Intense, wild and powerful throughout, the Howell Mountain shows just how strong 2011 was in a handful of very select spots where farming was diligent. What a fabulous wine this is. (AG)" (12/2017)

2011 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 94ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beautifully done, and probably the most elegant, seamless version of this cuvee I’ve tasted, the 2011 Booker Vineyard offers terrific aromas and flavors of liquid violets, sappy underbrush, smoked, exotic spices and plenty of crushed rock-like minerality that are all carried by layers of sweet cassis and black raspberry. There’s a northern Rhone-like character here, but it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, fantastic mid-palate concentration, and a seamless, layered and multi-dimensional mouthfeel that’s hard to resist. Made from 67% Syrah and 33% Mourvedre and aged in 300- and 350-liter hogsheads (and fermented with varying degrees of whole cluster), this beautifully pure, polished and complex effort will benefit from short-term cellaring and have over 15 years of overall longevity. 2011 Hudelot-Noëllat Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru "Les Suchots" (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2011 Hudelot-Noëllat Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru "Les Suchots" (1.5L) (92BH, 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Menthol and soft wood nuances frame the restrained but spicy aromas of black fruit and high-toned floral scents. There is good richness to the relatively full-bodied generous flavors that possess a silky texture, all wrapped in a lightly structured and impressively persistent finish. There is a bit of wood on the finish that offers only moderate complexity at present though my score assumes that more will develop over the next 3 to 5 years. As was the case when I originally reviewed this ultra-elegant effort, there is noticeable gas on the finish so if you're going to try a bottle young I would advise decanting it first. Try from 2019+" (04/2015)

2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (96W&S, (93-95RP), 94JS, 94VN, 92WE). Wine & Spirits: "The cool 2011 season turned out a pristine vintage of Monte Bello, made from Cabernet (88 percent) grown on a limestone-inflected ridge high above Silicon Valley, blended with some Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The team at Ridge let the fruit recover for two weeks following an early October storm before picking, and were more aggressive in their extraction than normal, drawing as much color and structure as possible from the delicate fruit. The aromas revolve around oak at first—anise, wood smoke, cedar bark and cinnamon—but the wood’s contribution is fine and integrated, shading gradually toward bright fruit as the finish lengthens with floral aromas and the tang of tiny, concentrated black currants. It’s even better with a day of air, as the tannins turn to velvet, allowing red-fruited acidity to take the lead and brighten the wine

2011 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aubert’s 2011 Chardonnay Lauren Vineyard flows across the palate with hints of butter, marzipan, spices, nectarines and dried apricots. Rich, voluptuous and creamy, the 2011 is another of the more overt wines in this range. Still, there is more than enough underlying minerality to balance the fruit. (AG)" (04/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Château Boswell "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN). Vinous: "Dark red berries, flowers, mint and savory herbs all flesh out in the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. The 2011 is beautifully fleshy for the year, although the savory and floral qualities of the vintage of course remain. Firm yet beautifully integrated tannins support the finish. This is a gorgeous wine from Boswell. (AG)" (11/2013)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Thierry & Pascale Matrot Blagny 1er Cru "La Pièce sous le Bois" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is aromatically similar to the Santenots though with an even cooler quality to the fruit. There is plenty of energy to the delineated and utterly delicious flavors that are supported by even finer tannins and ample minerality on the understated, balanced and lingering finish. This isn't quite as complex but it should add depth over the course of a few years of bottle age. A qualitative choice." (04/2013)

2011 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Columbia Valley Red Wine offers the classic creme de cassis, graphite, toasted spice and hints of licorice that seems to be present in all of the estate’s Cabernets. Medium to full-bodied, supple and already approachable, it nevertheless has the back-end stuffing to evolve gracefully for upwards of a decade. (JD)" (06/2014)

2011 Sine Qua Non "Dark Blossom" California Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Sine Qua Non "Dark Blossom" California Grenache (97RP, 97VN, (93-95ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Grenache Dark Blossom is probably the best Grenache-based blend in the vintage. A blend of 75% Grenache, 12.5% Syrah, 11.5% Mourvedre and a splash of Roussanne (fermented with 11% whole clusters), it has a perfumed, complex style, with notions of black raspberry, cassis, dried flowers, white pepper and licorice giving way to a full-bodied, layered and seamless mouthfeel. There’s no shortage of fruit here, and while it’s hard to resist now, it has enough tannin to warrant short-term cellaring. It should knock it out of the park through 2029. (JD)" (08/2014)

2011 Ultramarine "Heintz Vineyard" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Ultramarine "Heintz Vineyard" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine (95VN). Vinous: "All the elements come together in the 2011 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard, a wine of such beauty I have a hard time describing it. There are simply no parallels in California. Fermentation in barrel gives the Heintz lovely texture and voluptuousness, yet the wine is not at all heavy, it just has a hint of Vilmart-like toastiness. Most importantly, the pedigrees of this site - one of the best in Sonoma - comes through with great eloquence. Cruse also shows he has conquered what is perhaps the biggest challenge in making sparkling wine - creating an elegant mousse. It is hardly a surprise other producers seek him out for advice. Readers who can find the 2011 should not hesitate, as it is truly superb. (AG)" (02/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 94ST, 94VN, 93RP, 90WS). James Suckling: "Extremely aromatic with lead pencil and hints of currant undertone. Full body, with silky tannins and a very, very long finish. The texture is just right. This is so racy and refined with fabulous texture. I love the savory character. A wine with a solid core of fruit and super silky tannins. It is beautiful and dense yet refined." (10/2014)

2011 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Syrah
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Syrah (92VN, 91RP). Vinous: "Pride's 2011 Syrah is huge. Black cherry, plum, mocha, spice and tobacco notes burst from the glass in an intense, full-bodied Syrah loaded with mountain character. Smoke, tobacco and a host of earthier, gamier notes develop in the glass, but the 2011 remains distinctly big and fruit-driven in style. The 2011 is not a wine for the timid. I would love to taste it again in another few years, but it is already pretty special. The 2011 saw a dollop of Viognier (3%) and was aged in neutral oak. (AG)" (11/2013)

There is a gorgeously silky mouth feel to the suave and opulent medium-bodied flavors that also brim with an abundance of dry extract before concluding in an intensely earthy finish. This is very, very tight today but the noteworthy upside development potential is more than evident. Strongly worth considering. *Outstanding*" (01/2014)

Shows plenty of grip, presenting a long, full finish, filled with Asian spice and raspberry tart accents. Rich and chocolaty. One for the ages. Best from 2030 through 2060. *Wine of the Year 2014 - Collectibles* (KM)" (02/2014)
