2010 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2010 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 96RP, 96VN, 94ST, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "A thrill ride of a wine, the profound 2010 Saxum James Berry Vineyard, tasted out of barrel, looks to be every bit as good as the ’09 and the ‘07. Exotic, perfumed, and intense, it delivers riveting aromas of blackberry liqueur, lilac, violet, licorice, and mineral like qualities that flow to a seamless, perfectly proportioned wine that is beautifully concentrated, layered, and incredibly long. It’s hard to find fault here, and this has a rich, supple texture that somehow stays light, elegant, and focused. While this will be hard to resist on release, it should ideally be given 4-7 years of bottle age, with a total drink window of 20-25 years not being out of the question. If this note is not clear enough for you, let me be as direct as possible - don’t miss this wine!" (06/2012)

2010 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94VN, 94WE, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is already drinking remarkably well with abundant notes of creme de cassis, incense, licorice and spring flowers. Stunningly rich, full-bodied and built like a skyscraper, this wine is intense and full with velvety tannins and an overall impression of a voluptuous, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink now and over the next 10-15 years. 2010 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 98VN, 95ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon jumps from the glass with an exotic, beguiling melange of violets, cassis, spices and menthol. Layers of fruit supported by vivid, beautifully articulated tannins cover every inch of the palate. Rich and powerful, the 2010 never abandons its classic sense of structure. Today, the 2010 is a bit compact, but time should prove to be very beneficial in releasing the wine’s true potential. There is absolutely nothing out of place in this majestic Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are virtually imperceptible, as is the new oak. The long growing season produced a wine that is among the finest of the vintage. This is an unforgettable wine from Ric Forman. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035. (AG)" (12/2012)

2010 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96WE, 96WS, 95RP, 94ST, 94VN). Wine Spectator: "Dark, dense and very closed now, this has a tremendous core of crushed plum, linzer torte and blackberry confiture waiting in reserve. Ample singed cedar and mesquite, warm paving stone and black tea notes lurk in the background and glide through the finish. Features serious grip, but wonderful integration. Should cruise in the cellar. Best from 2016 through 2035. (JM)" (08/2013)

2010 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (99JD, 98RP, 98WE, 95JS, 94VN, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another massive, incredible release from this estate is the 2010 Léoville Poyferré. Based on 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and the balance Petit Verdot, its inky purple color is followed by a massive, full-bodied, incredibly concentrated 2010 that has awesome notes of pure crème de cassis, licorice, graphite, and spring flowers. As with the 2009, it has incredible depth of fruit, yet a slightly more focused, classic style, which is very much in the style of the 2010 vintage. With its new oak completely absorbed by its wealth of fruit, perfect balance, and sweet tannin, it’s a sensational, monumental effort to drink over the coming 3-4 decades." (02/2018)

2010 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97RP, 96DC, 96JD, 96WS, 94ST, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing considerably better than it did prior to bottling, the 2010 Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the all-time great Vieux Télégraphes I have tasted in the last 3+ decades. I believe it is even superior to the 2007, which I had several weeks ago. The 2010 boasts a dense purple color along with a sumptuous bouquet of spring flowers, boysenberries, black cherries, black currants, nori (the sushi seaweed wrapper), black olives, licorice and pepper. This full-bodied, meaty, thick, juicy effort possesses a boatload of tannin, but it also has incredible concentration. More massive than I remember from last year, it has put on considerable weight and intensity. Forget it for 3-4 years, and drink it over the following 25-30 years. Kudos to Daniel and Frederic Brunier! (RP)" (10/2012) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 100VN, 98RP, 98ST, 96WS). James Suckling: "Another perfect red with fabulous transparency and clarity in Cabernet Sauvignon character. Black currants and blackberries throughout. Full body, yet shows wonderful form and tension. Layered. Better in 2020." (06/2014)

2010 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 96WS, 93VN, 92W&S) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection exhibits an opaque purple color, slightly more toasty oak in the aromatics, and explosive richness on the attack, mid-palate and length. The nose is slightly more restrained than in the regular bottling, but there is no doubting the Special Selection is a cut or two above the Napa bottling when it hits the palate. Extraordinary purity of fruit, creme de cassis, licorice and incense all emerge from this full-bodied, iconic classic. It can be enjoyed now and over the next 25+ years. (RP)" (10/2013)

2010 Seavey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2010 Seavey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate exhibits a dark purple color along with a pungent, earthy nose displaying hints of new saddle leather, roasted meats, cedarwood, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis and blackberries. Full-bodied and rich with sweet tannins, great focus and delineation, and a finish that lasts 50 seconds, this killer wine should age effortlessly for 25-30 years. (Keep in mind that the 1990 and 1991 are just hitting their stride where well-stored.) (RP)" (10/2013)

2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Teasing the taster with a possible three-digit perfection is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. This beauty shows lots of creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, spring flower and forest floor notes in an opulent, full-bodied, powerful, dense, rich style buttressed by significant ripe tannins and decent acidity. Again, the striking purity and singular character of this Bryant Cabernet Sauvignon oozes potential as well as pedigree. This spectacular, young Cabernet should turn out to be one of the all-time great Bryant Cabernet Sauvignons, rivaling their 1997, but slightly more structured. Forget this one for 3-4 years and drink it over the following three decades. (RP)" (10/2013)

2010 Alban "Lorraine" Edna Valley Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Alban "Lorraine" Edna Valley Syrah (97RP, (93-95VN), 95WS, (93-94ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sporting the same inky color as the Reva, the 2010 Syrah Lorraine Vineyard has terrific elegance and purity in its sweet black raspberry fruits, crushed flowers, creme de cassis and subtle smoked meat characteristics. Seriously concentrated and backward on the palate (this cuvee normally is the most approachable of the lineup), with a rich, full mouthfeel, a big mid-palate and a great finish, give bottles 2-3 years and enjoy through 2030. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 97JS, 95ST, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Araujo’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is a picture perfect example of the year. Vibrant, precise and beautifully chiseled, the 2010 boasts serious depth and concentration. The aromas and flavors are incredibly vivid in this textured, dazzling Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of dark blue and black fruit, mocha, espresso and grilled herbs flesh out on the huge finish. Today the 2010 is unusually open, but it is almost certain to shut down in bottle over the next 6-12 months. The 2010 is a super-classic Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon from Araujo. (AG)" (12/2012) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Araujo’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is a picture perfect example of the year. 2010 Sine Qua Non "Stockholm Syndrome" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Sine Qua Non "Stockholm Syndrome" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100JD, 100RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Syrah Stockholm Syndrome is a monumental effort that will stand toe-to-toe with the greatest Syrahs in the world. A blend of 96% Syrah, 3% Roussanne and 1% Viognier, it was fermented with 16% whole cluster before spending just under 42 months in 100% new French oak. It offers an incredible array of sweet dark fruits, cassis, white chocolate, licorice and hints of bacon fat that meld perfectly with its full-bodied, seamless, layered and impeccably put-together palate. Given the wealth of fruit here, it’s amazing how this stays light, graceful and elegant, without ever seeming over the top in any way. While there’s no shortage of tannin here, they’re sweet and integrated, so feel free to enjoy this rock-star effort anytime over the coming two decades or more. (JD)" (08/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Hundred Acre "Few and Far Between" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100RP, 95ST, (93-95VN), 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between has a minerality that is also found in the Howell Mountain cuvee as well as deep, luxurious, beautiful black currant and blackberry fruit intermixed with hints of jammy black cherries, licorice, camphor and charcoal embers. Exceptionally full-bodied with sweet tannin, surreal richness and remarkable purity as well as delineation, this pushes ripeness and intensity to nearly over-the-top levels, but it pulls back to simply create a wine of genius. This 2010 should age effortlessly for two to three decades, but there is no reason to delay your enjoyment. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97RP, 96VN, 93WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan (only 25% of the normal production or 250 cases were made) offers a remarkable suppleness and velvety character to the tannins. Despite being 100% Cabernet Sauvignon you would almost swear this was a Merlot-based wine from one of the finest vineyards in Pomerol given its lusciousness and appeal. This spectacular 2010 possesses abundant creamy creme de cassis notes intermixed with notions of mulberries and spicy oak and a broad, expansive, savory appeal with decent acidity as well as ripe tannin. As in nearly every vintage, this 2010 can be drunk early yet has the uncanny intensity and overall harmony to age effortlessly. We still don’t know how long this wine will last since the first vintage was only in 2000, which was not one of Napa’s greatest years. The 2010 should hold up for

2010 Clarendon Hills "Astralis" Syrah McLaren Vale South Australia
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Clarendon Hills "Astralis" Syrah McLaren Vale South Australia (100RP, 97JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Astralis is still quite primary eliciting aromas of black plums, blueberry compote and blackcurrant liqueur with a savory and baking spice undercurrent plus a fragrant whiff of violets. Very structured, fine and complex in the medium to full-bodied mouth, this wine is revealing much more than when I first tasted it a year ago and is now showing layer upon layer of black fruit preserves, mocha, toast and spices before finishing with great length. Extraordinary wine. Approachable now, it should cellar to 2030+. (LPB)" (02/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Raymond Usseglio "Cuvée Impériale - Vignes Centenaires" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 97JD, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A candidate for perfection, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale Vignes Centenaire is clearly the greatest wine I have ever tasted from Raymond Usseglio, even eclipsing their remarkable 2007. Don’t be surprised if it merits a three-digit score in five or six years. Somewhat closed, but bursting with potential, the wine is inky/purple to the rim and boasts abundant amounts of concentrated, jammy blackberry, kirsch, licorice, lavender, forest floor, white chocolate and a hint of truffles in its magnificent perfume. Some tannins appear in the mouth, but there is no doubting the luxurious concentration, multidimensional mouthfeel, full-bodied texture, enormous extract and richness, and nearly endless finish. This monumental Chateauneuf du Pape needs to be forgotten for 4-5 years and consumed over the following 2-3 decades.
