Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (94WE, 93RP, 93ST, 92VN, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Deep and delicious, with an earth-driven nose that conveys quality. Chunky plum pervades the chewy, dark palate, which offers a gorgeous mouthfeel and admirable depth. Only on the finish do you get a slight hint of oak. Overall it’s entirely solid and very likable, but as good as it is, it’s not quite on the level of the ’98 or ’99, which were amazing. *Cellar Selection* (MS)" (11/2003)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Grand Corbin-Despagne, St-Emilion (90RP, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This has been a property to watch since the late nineties. All of the recent vintages have represented a relatively virile, muscular, tannic style of St.-Emilion. The black/purple-colored 2000 is a sleeper of the vintage. Revealing aromas of plum, wood smoke, iron, blackberries, licorice, underbrush, and cassis, this full-bodied, layered, powerful, muscular St.-Emilion has some tannin to shed, but its finish reveals considerable persistence. It is a strong, virile, broodingly impressive effort. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2018." (04/2003)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Terra Blanca Red Mountain Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2000 Terra Blanca "Onyx" Red Mountain Bordeaux Blend (90WS) and 1-bottle of 2000 Terra Blanca "Block 8 - Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard" Red Mountain Syrah (91WS). Of the 2000 Terra Blanca "Block 8 - Terra Blanca Estate Vineyard" Red Mountain Syrah,Wine Spectator writes: "Fine in texture, with a fleshiness that lets the dark berry, cherry and mineral flavors spill ebulliently through the flavor profile, finishing with richness and elegance. (HS)" (09/2003)
Starting Bid: $55.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (97RP, 96WS, 95JS, 95WE, 94VN, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beginning to open magnificently, the still dense purple-colored 2000 reveals a blossoming bouquet of blackberries, cassis, graphite and pen ink. Full-bodied with velvety tannins that have resolved themselves beautifully over the last eleven years, this wine is still an adolescent, but it exhibits admirable purity, texture, mouthfeel and power combined with elegance. One of the all-time great examples of Lynch Bages, the 2000 is just beginning to drink well yet promises to last for another 20-25+ years. (RP)" (08/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Reserve de Léoville-Barton, St-Julien ((88-90RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A very high-toned nose redolent of a Languedoc-Roussillon. Good concentration on the palate. Blackberry, plum and pain grille. Fine acidity, quite modern compared to the Grand Vin. An ebullient second wine. Drink now. Tasted October 2004. (Neal Martin's Wine Journal)"
Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 St-Emilion Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2000 Bellefont-Belcier, St-Emilion (90RP, 90WS) and 1-bottle of 2000 Grand Mayne, St-Emilion (93RP, 91WE). Of the 2000 Grand Mayne, St-Emilion,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A consistent winner in both quality and value, the dark plum/garnet-tinged 2000 Grand-Mayne reveals a sweet nose of blueberry pie intermixed with forest floor and floral undertones. (RP)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $136.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2000 Eric Texier Vieilles Vignes Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2000 Eric Texier "Séguret" Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Vieilles Vignes and 3-bottles of 2000 Eric Texier Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes (92WS, 90VN). Of the 2000 Eric Texier Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes,Wine Spectator writes: "So sleek and clean, this full-bodied red combines beautifully spicy fruit, black currant, licorice and a touch of eucalyptus. Light-footed, it glides on the palate to a long and elegant finish. Seductive. *Top 100 Wines of 2002* (PM)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (97RP, 97WE, 96DC, 95VN, 95W&S, 94ST, 93JS, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a touch of brick, the 2000 Mouton Rothschild (composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot) boldly bursts from the glass with tantalizing Black Forest cake, dried mulberries, kirsch and blackcurrant pastilles notes plus wafts of iodine, incense, potpourri and cinnamon stick with a hint of cigar boxes. Medium to full-bodied, the palate packs in the muscular fruit, framed by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with phenomenal length. This is an incredibly complex and multifaceted wine, and it's drinking deliciously now. This said, I can’t help but feel that it is holding something back, that it still has another layer of opulence and seduction to reveal in its tight-knit fruit and solid structure. I personally can’t wait to see how this beauty will continue to unfold over the years to come. (LPB) 9

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Larrivet Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (91WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Very ripe fruit on the nose, with hints of tobacco and cedar. Full-bodied, with big, chewy tannins, yet soft and luscious. (JS)" (03/2003)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Les Forts de Latour, Pauillac (94JS, 93WS, 92RP, 91ST). James Suckling: "Some call it the second wine of the great first growth of Latour. But it’s a unique wine on its own. It shows blueberry, raspberry and other dark-berry character. It’s so round and delicious, why wait?" (04/2014)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Duhart-Milon, Pauillac (93WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Very solid, this sports lots of fresh bay, pepper and rosemary notes amid a slightly chunky core of black currant and fig paste flavors. The finish picks up a prominent charcoal edge, but this is warm and inviting overall. Like a cabin hideaway, this is pleasantly rustic. (JM, Web-2016)"
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2000 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS, 90RP, 90ST). Wine Spectator: "A wonderful display of fruit purity, with floral, plum, grapey currant and black cherry fruit that's well-focused and supported by firm tannins. Finishes with a push of blackberry and lead pencil. Rich and concentrated while remaining elegant and refined. (JL)" (11/2003)
Starting Bid: $301.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Clos du Marquis, St-Julien (94WS, 91JS, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "The nose shows loads of plum, spice and meat aromas, as well as hints of licorice. It's full-bodied, with firm, yet velvety textured tannins. It's big and rounded. If you can't afford Las Cases, try some of this. Some might call this a second wine, but it comes from a plot of vineyards not deemed worthy of Léoville Las Cases. So it's like its own estate. *Smart Buy, Top 100 Wines of 2003* (JS)" (03/2003)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Eric Texier Côte-Rôtie Vieilles Vignes (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright dark red. Highly aromatic, slightly roasted nose melds raspberry, bitter cherry, mace, nutmeg and exotic woodsmoke. Juicy, peppery and a bit youthfully raw, with modest fat and flesh for its oak component. The strong woodsmoke quality carries through in the mouth. Initially seemed a touch dry but seemed to grow sweeter with aeration. Finishes with ripe, oak-enhanced tannins. (ST)" (01/2003)
Starting Bid: $50.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Gruaud-Larose, St-Julien (1.5L) (94RP, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A very strong effort for Gruaud Larose, possibly eclipsed by what they have done in 2009, this is a pure, full-bodied Gruaud Larose with plenty of new saddle leather, cedar wood, black currants, cherries, licorice, and Provencal herbs. Spicy, earthy, full-bodied, and rich, it has hit its plateau of full maturity, where it should stay for another 20 or more years. (RP)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux (95RP, 93WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This estate, which has continued to impress me in recent years, hit a home run in 2000. Showing slightly better than I rated it previously, this wine is deep bluish/purple with some lightening at the edge, and its floral nose displays notes of melted licorice, crushed rock, blueberries and black raspberries. A wine of extraordinary balance, equilibrium, and purity, with supple tannins, this medium to full-bodied, concentrated effort is already compelling and has hit its window of full maturity, where it should stay for another 15-20 years. (RP)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $117.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (100JS, 100WS, 99JD, 98DC, 98RP, 95ST, 95W&S). James Suckling: "A classic Las Cases with masses of mineral, floral and blueberry character. Full and chewy, with so much power. It’s just opening now." (04/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Conn Creek "Anthology" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Absolutely delicious, a fat, sumptuous wine that flatters the palate from beginning to end. Smells plush, brimming with currants and fancy oak trimmings, and turns lush and complex with fruit in the mouth. Best to drink it soon, in the fullness of youth." (06/2004)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (97JD, 97RP, 95WS, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The plushest, most ostentatious and dramatic of all the Leovilles in 2000, this wine is already sumptuous, displaying some nuances in its huge nose of vanilla bean, black chocolate, jammy black cherries, cassis, and graphite in a flamboyant style. Opulent, savory, rich, and full-bodied, it is a head-turning, prodigious wine and a complete contrast to the extracted behemoth of Leoville Barton and the backward, classic Leoville Las Cases. The Poyferre’s low acidity, sweet tannin and an already gorgeous mouthfeel make it a wine to drink now as well as over the next 25 or more years. (RP)" (06/2010)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Lancaster Estate Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deep ruby/purple-colored 2000 Proprietary Red Estate possesses aromas and flavors of black cherries, plums, currants, and a touch of new oak. The tannin is firmer and the finish more angular than in the 1999. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Cheval Blanc, St-Émilion (1.5L) (100VN, 98JD, 97RP). Vinous: "A wine of exquisite aromatic depth and grace, the 2000 Cheval Blanc is fully captivating. All the elements fall into place in an effortless, gracious wine. It’s frankly hard to move past the 2000 Cheval, because at this point, I want nothing to compete with it. (AG)" (11/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Pavillon Rouge, Margaux (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Glorious aromas of freshly picked raspberries, with tiny hints of cream and minerals. Full-bodied, with superfine tannins and a long, long finish of berries and cherries. Super second wine from Margaux. Best Pavillon Rouge I have ever tasted. (JS)" (03/2003)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Vintage Port Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2000 Croft Vintage Port (93RP) and 2-bottles of 2000 Fonseca Vintage Port (96RP, 95ST, 94WS). Of the 2000 Fonseca Vintage Port,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2000 Fonseca continues to exude finesse and focus on the nose, with pure blackberry, juniper berries, licorice and a touch of sloes, perhaps as Adrian Bridge remarked, just beginning to close after ten years in bottle. The palate is underpinned by very fine tannins, a sensual, svelte texture with wonderful acidity. The harmony and symmetry is alluring, the finish precise and demonstrating the persistency to suggest a long future ahead. (NM)" (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Rauzan-Sègla, Margaux (94DC, 94VN, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2000 Rauzan-Ségla was the only vintage that I procured myself out in the market because of many fond memories. I am so glad I did fill in the gap because I feel it is a rather overlooked gem. It has a gorgeous bouquet, a little backward at first but then opening with black cherries, blueberry jam and hints of Provençal herbs, though none of the saddle leather I noticed back in 2010. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannins, nigh perfect acidity and a rich, quite grippy finish. The estate prefers the 2001 but I find this possesses more ambition. (NM)" (04/2019)
