Bid on this magnum of 1994 d'Yquem, Sauternes (1.5L). Wine Spectator: "A very good but not outstanding Yquem. Yellow-gold color. Intense aromas of petrol, spice and honey, with dried apricot. Full-bodied, very sweet, with a green apple and honey character; petrol character comes through on the finish. Better with age. " (05/2000)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 Vega Sicilia "Unico" Ribera del Duero (96DC, 96RP, 96WS, 95ST, 95WE, 94JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1994 Unico is a blend of 80% Tinto Fino, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot (presumably 2% is unknown varieties) that was picked from September 28. It is very intense with notes of raspberry, wild strawberry and mulberry with sensational minerality and vigor. There is a Margaux-like florality to the 1994 that blossom with aeration. The palate is rounded and supple on the entry with great weight and backbone. There is real substance here, similar to the 1996. It expands in the mouth with ravishing notes of blackberry, strawberry, citrus lemon, orange peel and a touch of cedar. There is enormous weight on the finish, a behemoth of a Unico. This is very potent, but it still requires several years in bottle. (NM)" (08/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1994 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the renowned Eisele Vineyard, which has a long history of producing stunning wines (the Ridge 1971 Eisele Vineyard, the Conn Creek 1974, the Phelps 1976 Insignia, and the 1975 and 1978 Eisele Vineyard Cabernets). At present, the Araujos limit production of their estate Cabernet Sauvignon to approximately 2,500 cases. It is a wine that combines the extraordinary power and richness of this hot area of Napa, with stunning purity and delineation. The 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is just beginning to emerge from a period of post-bottling dormancy. Like its siblings, it exhibits an impressively saturated dark purple color. This wine is intent on revealing its charms at a relatively early age given its knock-out aromatics. Although slightly less powerful than the 1993 and marginally less concentrated than the 1995,

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 96RP, 92WS). Vinous: "A wine that takes over all the senses, Dunn's 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. New leather, smoke and spices are some of the many notes that develop in the glass, adding complexity and character. This is an especially powerful, brooding vintage for the Howell Mountain. All the elements fall into place effortlessly. The 1994 is rich, broad, ample and incredibly expressive today. What a wine. (AG)" (02/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion ((91-93ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good medium color, less saturated than the '95. Pungent, vibrant aromas of sappy berries and resiny oak, with an intriguing floral nuance. At once thick and polished on the palate, with an herbal, peppery complexity. Very long, subtle aftertaste, with some vanillin oak and a slight tannic edge. Not quite as ripe or seamless as the '95, but a very classy, intensely flavored wine that should put on weight in bottle. (ST)" (05/1996)
Starting Bid: $870.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96VN, 95DC, 92RP). Vinous: "What a pleasure it is to taste and drink the 1994 Opus One. Far better than a bottle I had last year, this bottle is absolutely terrific. Voluptuous, sexy and layered to the core, the 1994 races across the palate with superb depth and pure class. (AG)" (10/2014)
