2012 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93RP, 92VN, 92WS, 91ST, 90CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a beautiful wine that comes from four vineyards, Gap’s Crown, Griffin’s Lair, Terra de Promissio and Walala. It has a deep ruby/semi-opaque color that is followed by a youthful, rich and concentrated wine offering classic dark cherries, plum, licorice, ground herbs and baking-spice-driven aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, layered and structured, it opens up beautifully with air, has seamlessly integrated fruit, tannin and alcohol, and stays classy and nicely focused on the finish. It can be enjoyed now with a decant, but will be better in another year, and have over a decade of longevity. (JD)" (10/2014)

2016 Pax "Sonoma Hillsides" Sonoma County Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Pax "Sonoma Hillsides" Sonoma County Syrah (100VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Syrah Sonoma-Hillsides has been nothing less than stunning on the three occasions I have tasted it so far. A wine of extraordinary purity and depth, the 2016 dazzles from the very first taste. The richness and power are simply breathtaking. Bacon fat, smoke, grilled herb and lavender are woven into a graceful, seamless core of inky blue/purplish fruit. Even with all of its intensity, the 2016 remains remarkably light on its feet. The Sonoma-Hillsides is a blend of fruit from Castelli-Knight Ranch, Griffin's Lair and Walker Vine Hill, done with 100% whole clusters and aged in a combination of concrete and neutral oak, with no SO2. I am not sure how the 2016 will age, but I am also not sure it will matter, as most bottles will be long gone before that is an issue. Quite simply, the Sonoma-Hillsides is a total pleasure bomb and a modern-day benchmark for Syrah in California. Don't miss i

2012 Occidental (Kistler) "Bodegas Headlands--Cuvée Elizabeth" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Occidental (Kistler) "Bodegas Headlands--Cuvée Elizabeth" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As good as the Cuvée Catherine is, there is another Occidental Pinot that is profound. There are 2,000 cases of the 2012 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth. This wine reminded me of my earlier days in Burgundy tasting the Grand Cru Musigny. Incredible floral notes, sweet raspberries and blueberries as well as wet rocks soar from the glass of this profound, medium to full-bodied, gorgeous Pinot Noir made from 100% Calera clone. Stunning ripeness, great acids, and terrific delineation are all present in this super-intense, fragrant, modern classic from Steve Kistler. It should drink well for at least a decade, possibly a lot longer. (RP)" (01/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Peter Michael "La Carrière" Sonoma County Chardonnay (93ST, 92RP, 90WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Green-tinged yellow. More precise, subtle aromas of stone fruits, minerals and nutmeg. A step up in energy and fruit intensity, with lovely clarity to the flavors of stone fruits, lemon, lime, spices and crushed rock. Finishes quite long and brisk, in need of at least a year of patience. (ST)" (06/2008)

2012 Peter Michael "Ma Danseuse" Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Peter Michael "Ma Danseuse" Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir (100RP, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The compelling 2012 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse (1,480 cases) is even better than the 2013. Notes of lead pencil shavings, DRC-like forest floor, black raspberry, blackcurrant, Asian plum sauce, rose petal and sweet cherry characteristics are found in this spectacular, multidimensional, prodigious Pinot Noir that should drink well for 10-15+ years. The clonal material probably came from one of the DRC vineyards, so it is not surprising that. in this cool climate, with the great fruit purity California can achieve, there is a DRC-like resemblance. Bid on this mangum of 2012 Ultramarine "Heintz Vineyard - Late Disgorgement" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine (1.5L) (94VN). Vinous: "Ultramarine's 2012 Blanc de Blancs Charles Heintz Vineyard is bright, focused and nicely sculpted, with plenty of lemon peel, chalk, savory herb and mint overtones. The 2012 is a bit reserved today, perhaps because of its recent disgorgement. Even so, the flavors are bright, vivid and striking in their purity. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. (AG)" (03/2017)

2012 Joseph Phelps "Freestone Vineyards" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Freestone Vineyards" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93VN, 91RP, 90ST, 90WE). Vinous: "Dark red cherries, tobacco and new leather wrap around the palate in the 2012 Pinot Noir Freestone Vineyard. A wine of presence and nuance, the 2012 stands out for its symmetry and overall sense of balance. I very much like the delineation and energy here. The Freestone is a blend of fruit from Quarter Moon (60%) and Pastorale (40%). It shows beautifully next to those wines, despite a significant difference in price. This is the hidden jewel in the range, there is little doubt about that. (AG)" (02/2014)

2015 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay
Bid on this bottle of 2015 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Point Rouge is pure pedigree and class, showing all the elegance and seamlessness of a truly top-tier Chardonnay. Opening with tightly furled citrus and spiced apple notes over salty almond, cashew, allspice, anise and ginger, plus wafts of orange blossom and crushed rocks, the medium-bodied palate is wonderfully well poised, with seamless flavor layers intermingled with just enough freshness, finishing long and beautifully perfumed. Bright, sculpted and dripping with energy, the 2010 dazzles at the very first taste. The citrus peel, crushed rock, white pepper and floral notes are drawn with a thin pencil in this super-expressive Blanc de Blancs. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. Plum, black cherry, menthol, tobacco and licorice meld together gracefully as the 2011 opens up in the glass. The combination of fruit and structure is compelling. This is a fabulous appellation-level Pinot, due in part to the vineyard blend, which in 2011 includes 40% fruit from Gap's Crown, along with Terra del Promissio and Walala. (AG)" (02/2014)

2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma/Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 94CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The two flagship wines of this brilliant estate, which straddles the Sonoma and Napa county lines at the top of Spring Mountain, include the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot). Sixty-eight percent of the fruit comes from Sonoma and 32% from Napa. It exhibits classic notes of creme de cassis, licorice, cedarwood, incense and a hint of toasty oak in the background. Full-bodied, opulent, profound deep, rich and full with velvety edges, the tannin can be detected, but it is wonderfully integrated in this mountain-styled Cabernet. It continues Pride’s impressive track record with these special cuvees. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve can be drunk young or cellared for two decades or more. Magnificent fruit, a full-bodied texture, and superb intensity as well as precision characterize this youthful, full-throttle Marcassin. The 2016 Pinot Noir UV Vineyard is 100% Calera clone (which reportedly comes from Vosne-Romanée) from a site in the Sonoma Coast and was brought up in 60-70% new French oak. It also saw around 10-20% whole clusters. Incredible ripe cherries, strawberries, exotic spices, blood orange, and floral notes all soar from this transparently colored, multi-dimensional, layered Pinot Noir that has no hard edges, ultra-fine tannin, and a finish that just won’t quit. Bright red stone fruits, mint and sweet spices all lift from the glass. Silky, sweet and exceptionally polished throughout, the Occidental Ridge hits all the right spots today. A hint of salinity is perfectly countered by sweet red fruits. Superb depth and lift on the spicy back end, with the tannins fully coated by fruit. Its dense ruby hue is followed by a beautiful floral element. Readers will adore the black cherry, plym, clove-infused fruit and relatively full-bodied texture. Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Pinot Noir UV-SL Vineyard flirts with perfect and is another incredible effort from the Sonoma Coast. Deeply colored, with ripe cherries, underbrush, black currants, graphite, blood orange, and forest floor notes, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, ample tannin, a big mid-palate, and a blockbuster finish. Despite being a rich, powerful wine, it shows remarkable elegance and purity, as well as a weightless, seamless texture. Brought up in 70% new French oak, drink it over the coming decade." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (91CG, 91WE). Wine Enthusiast: "A full-bodied blend from different vineyard sites, this wine celebrates darker, denser aspects of black cherry and cranberry alongside a savory, herbal component that persists on the palate, finished up by a mouthwatering mix of orange and chocolate. Complex and robust in tannin, it needs time to breathe before being enjoyed. (VB)" (10/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Ceritas "Porter-Bass" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94VN, 93ST). Vinous: "The 2012 Chardonnay Porter-Bass Vineyard is a real showstopper. Graphite, smoke, slate, lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks abound. In 2012, the Porter-Bass presents a distinctly Burgundian profile, with slight elements of reduction (in a good sense) allied to palpable energy. Readers who enjoy focused, tense Chardonnays will adore the 2012 Porter-Bass. (AG)" (01/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aubert’s 2011 Chardonnay Lauren Vineyard flows across the palate with hints of butter, marzipan, spices, nectarines and dried apricots. Rich, voluptuous and creamy, the 2011 is another of the more overt wines in this range. Still, there is more than enough underlying minerality to balance the fruit. (AG)" (04/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Peay "Scallop Shelf Estate" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Darker berry and cherry pit aromas are strongly accented by cracked pepper and musky spices. Intense blackberry and cassis flavors show very good depth and a round, supple quality, with dusty tannins adding support. The spice notes build through the long, sappy finish. Quite different in personality from the Pomarium. (ST)" (06/2007)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 97JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bursting forth with extravagant tropical and floral notes, the 2015 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille has nuances of honey-nut pastry (baklava), ginger, cedar and spice cake. Medium-bodied, the pineapple and passionfruit flavor layers are lifted by a seamless backbone and supported with a decadent creaminess, finishing long and spicy. (LPB) 98+" (10/2017)

Knockout nose combines stone fruits, minerals, fresh herbs, honey, flowers, grilled nuts and earth. Round and lush yet racy and light on its feet, with compelling flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and crushed stone. A huge but classy wine with considerable finesse. Wonderfully rich yet subtle on the back end, where it stains the palate with fruits, minerals and soil tones. (ST)" (06/2006)

2012 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Note from 2013 review, re-reviewed with no new note in 2014: We finished the Chardonnay portion of the tasting with Mark Aubert’s favorite wine, the 2012 Chardonnay Lauren Estate, which comes from rich Goldridge soils. There are 1,000 cases of this straw/greenish-colored beauty fashioned from various clones, including the Old Wente, Hyde, Hudson Corton-Charlemagne selection and the Mt. Eden clones. It possesses more of a tannic backbone than its siblings because of its grip. Full-bodied with lots of honeyed citrus, orange marmalade and abundant fruit on the attack and mid-palate, this youthful Chardonnay seems barely touched by its oak aging. All of these 2012s will be irresistible when released in 2014, but should age beautifully for 6-10+ years. As many delicious wines as I have tasted from Mark Aubert, who has now moved into a beautiful winery on the

A gorgeous nose of wet rocks, white currants, flowers, pineapple, and honeysuckle are all present in this vivid, full-bodied, powerful wine that tastes like a Chevalier-Montrachet from France. Stunningly rich, pure, and long, this is another tour de force from Mark Aubert, who certainly has the Midas touch when it comes to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. (RP)" (12/2007)

Orchard fruit, mint, white flowers and melon are pushed forward. Deep and ample on the palate, with tremendous structure, the 2016 has a lot to offer. Seamless and impeccably layered in the glass, the 2014 speaks to balance and finesse. Today, the UV-SL is creamy, unctuous and absolutely stunning in its beauty. 2013 Williams Selyem Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Williams Selyem Sonoma County Pinot Noir (91CG, 90WE). Connoisseurs Guide: "GOOD VALUE Pinot Noir of this quality priced at $40.00 or less is a rare find these days, and it serves as an important reminder that not every high-achieving effort necessarily comes with a single-vineyard designation. It hits all the right varietal marks and sports especially fine balance with an irresistible freshness and fruity buoyancy that invite drinking without hesitation. Still, for all of its tempting immediacy, it has the depth and tight structure of a serious wine sure to repay aging, and, while we would not refuse a glass if offered right now, we plan on hiding our own bottles away for no fewer than another three to five years." 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)

The provenance of the fruit shows through as a delicious blast of energy, the wine lasting on a wild raspberry tang that pulls savory depth behind it, a sous bois undertone that speaks to the redwoods and sandstone ridges of the Sonoma Coast."
