Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1985 Fieuzal, Pessac-Léognan (90WS). Wine Spectator: "The first in a string of outstanding wines from this estate. Still not giving much but has plenty on reserve to assure a long and excellent maturation. Shows fruity, chocolate, toasted oak aromas and flavors and super-firm fruit and tannins. (JS)" (10/1994)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 La Mission-Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96VN, 95RP, 95WE, 94DC, 93JS, 92ST, 90WS). Vinous: "The 2008 La Mission Haut-Brion has an open, feisty, lively bouquet with blackberry, briary, cedar, black olive and a light seaweed (Japanese nori) aroma. This is wonderful, an intoxicating bouquet. The palate is beautifully balanced with a fine bead of acidity, very focused with good weight and structure. This is a very convincing showing, at the moment more pleasurable than the 2008 Haut-Brion, just so fresh and complex, offering a discrete tertiary, smoke-tinged finish that goes on and on. One of the best 2008s out there. (NM) 96+" (02/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (95JS, 95RP, 95WS, 94JG, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Haut Bailly is rapidly turning into a glorious wine. You instantly fall in love with the purity on the nose, luscious red cherries, wild strawberry and blueberry. This is still youthful and beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with quite a structured opening like many in this vintage. It exerts a gentle grip in the mouth, quite tensile and linear and perhaps just tightening up a tad toward the finish. It is biding its time, but it will repay those who cellar this outstanding 2005 for another four or five years. (NM)" (07/2017)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96JS, 96WS, 95RP, 94ST, 93W&S). James Suckling: "An intense, opulent nose with notes of ripe fruits and meat. An exotic and decadent wine, it boasts a full body, with big velvety tannins and loads of complexity. Layers and layers of flavors." (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (99RP, 98JD, 96ST, 96WE, 95JS, 94W&S, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted from an ex-château bottle in Bordeaux, I was not surprised to find the 2000 Château Haut-Brion flirting with perfection. The nose is simply breathtaking - quintessential Haut-Brion with ebullient red berry fruit, roasted herbs, gravel, terracotta tiles on a warm summer's day...it is simply wave after wave of intoxicating scents that could bring even the most stoic person to tears of joy. The palate displays heavenly balance, pitch-perfect acidity, perhaps spicier than previous bottles that I have tasted, and what depth and dimension in this outstanding wine. That hint of graphite on the finish is a cheeky nod to Pauillac, as if to thumb its nose at the First Growths, because alongside Château Latour, almost by stealth, the Haut-Brion is one of the greatest Bordeaux in this millennial year. (NM) 99+" (07/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (95JS, 93RP). James Suckling: "This is a giant wine with lots of muscular tannins and rich fruit. Full and beautiful, very ‘Cabernet’ with currants and spices in the forefront. Broad shouldered, with notes of fresh mushrooms, pure fruit, souis bois, and a very long, long finish. This shows incredible class for the vintage. Robert de Luxembourg says it reminds him of the 1975 vintage with the powerful tannins." (05/2012)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (93JS, 93RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2000 Domaine de Chevalier has long been one of my favorite wines and now at 16 years of age, it continues to live up to expectations. It has a beautiful nose, so lively and vivacious, with black plum and blackberry, cedar and damp undergrowth scents, an undercurrent of tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive definition, a fine thread of acidity, though still backward and intimating that there is "much more in the tank." (NM)" (07/2016)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan (99JS, 97JD, 96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 95WE, 95WS). James Suckling: "The clarity to this wine is impressive. Wealth of dark-plum and black-fruit essence not to mention orange citrus. Everything is dialed up to the limit here but then dialed in on the palate. Such impressive depth and suave, ripe, fluid tannins that deliver impressive length. Great wine. Such polish. Superb." (02/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Smith-Haut-Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (95RP, 91WS, 90JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Taciturn on the nose at first, but coquettishly opening up with pure red-fruits, espresso, cedar and a touch of the old dusty antique bureau. Good definition. The palate is full-bodied, firm tannins, a touch of spice on the entry, a citric thread that counterbalanced the dense, ripe black fruit. This is nowhere near ready, but all the elements are here for a great wine, with notes of blackberry, cedar, graphite wild strawberry and freshly rolled tobacco. Persistent, grippy and utterly convincing. (NM)" (09/2010)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2014 Haut Bergey, Pessac-Léognan ((91-93WE), 91WS, 90DC, (89-90JS), 90VN). Wine Enthusiast: "91–93. Barrel Sample. Tight, nervy and textured, this wine is still masking its fruit with upfront toast flavors. It does, however, have great richness at the end that promises good things to come. (RV)" (02/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (97DC, 95W&S, 95WS, 94RP). Decanter: "As with the 2000, this is still extremely young, barely out of the starting gates, and it needs time to open in the glass. It inches forward, rewarding patience with one of the most aromatically complex wines that you'll find in Bordeaux. Deep in colour, it has great aromatic balance of spice, swirled cinnamon and liquorice. Mouthwateringly good. A high yield of 52hl/ha, with 50% of the crop going to the grand vin. 75% new oak. (JA)" (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $391.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (91JS, 91ST, 90WS). James Suckling: "Impressive nose of sweet tobacco with hints of prunes and black cherries. The palate is velvety, but it’s a little dull on the finish. Opens a little as the wine is in the glass. Served from imperial bottle. " (01/2011)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 97JS, 95WE, 94ST, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It goes from strength to strength, and it is not surprising that it is now one of the perfect wines of this great, great vintage the finest vintage of Bordeaux that I have tasted in 37 years covering that epicenter for world-class quality in wine. Much of it is attributable to winemaker Véronique Sanders and her boss, Robert Wilmers. Their incredibly draconian selection process and their enormous investments in both the viticulture and the estate as well as the winemaking facility have paid off brilliantly over the last decade. The 2009, which has an opaque ruby/purple color, an extraordinary nose of high-quality unsmoked cigar tobacco, graphite, blackcurrants and spice, hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied, saturated and rich mouthfeel, but an elegant and ethereal quality that is difficult to articulate. It is rich, complex and tastes as if

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96WE, 93WS, 92ST, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Surprisingly lively and fresh, this is still a seriously impressive wine. The high proportion of Semillon is now coming to dominate the Sauvignon, to give a wine that is finely shaped, full of creamy flavors of wood and some white peach. In 10 years, this will still be fresh, in 15 just mature. (RV)" (06/2005)
