2002 Louis Jadot Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Louis Jadot Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((95-98RP), 97WE, 96WS, (92-95BH), 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Black fruits are interspersed with licorice and earth in the nose of the medium to full-bodied 2002 Chambertin Clos de Beze. This concentrated, deep, noble wine is crammed with perfectly ripe fruit and tannin. Loads of blackberries, licorice, plums, black cherries, stones, and flowers can be discerned in its complex flavor profile. Its finish, described in my notes as 'completely unreal,' is exceedingly long, fruit-filled, and suave. If stored in a cold cellar, this wine would be an ideal selection for serving to a 2002 baby on his or her 21st birthday. (PR)" (06/2004)

1976 Jules Regnier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "La Combe aux Moines"
Bid on this bottle of 1976 Jules Regnier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "La Combe aux Moines". Jasper Morris, MW, writes of the 1976 vintage, "A controversial vintage in Burgundy...produced superlative bottles with great staying power... A '50 Years On' tasting in 2026 could prove to be fascinating." (Inside Burgundy, 2011) La Combe aux Moines is part of the outstanding slope of premier cru vineyards in Gevrey called the "Côte St-Jacques" for its most famous parcel, Clos St-Jacques. The steep slope covers sections of both white marl (at the top of the vineyard) and reddish, iron-rich soil lower down. The vineyard produces powerful wines, sometimes brutishly tannic in youth, but its also one of the most solidly ageworthy premier cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits.

1996 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" Vieilles Vignes
Bid on this bottle of 1996 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St. Jacques" Vieilles Vignes (92ST, 91BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Red-ruby. Explosive, multifaceted aromas of cherry, raspberry, tobacco, smoke, flowers, mint and earth. Thick but lively and delineated; the most intensely flavored of these '96s to this point. Bracing balancing acidity. Gives a peppery sensation of extract. Extremely long, subtle finish, with the firm tannins supported by sheer material. I'd love to taste this wine alongside the Michel Esmonin version a decade from now. 92+" (03/1999)

2007-2011 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" Vertical
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007-2011 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2007 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" (93JG, 90ST) and 1-bottle of 2011 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" (92BH, 92JG, 91ST, 90RP, 90VN). Of the 2007 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes",John Gilman writes: " The entire range of 2007 Domaine Dujac wines that I tasted for this report were absolutely stellar, and ironically, I tasted all of them here in New York, rather than sampling a few in Burgundy. If the old saw that “Burgundy always tastes best when drunk in the region” is really true, then I can only imagine how good these wines would be in their local market! The 2007 Combottes is outstanding, wafting from the glass in a blossoming bouquet of red plums, cherries, a touch of raspberry, cocoa, fresh herb tones, nutmeg, lovely soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodi
