Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1988 Joseph Drouhin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (94VN). Vinous: "The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, still replete with the transparency and tension I have remarked on before. Maybe there is a little more dryness towards the finish indicating that it should be consumed in the near future. (NM)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Dominique Laurent Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes.
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine De La Vougeraie Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru "Les Mazoyères" (95RP, (92-94BH)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyères comes across a big, powerful and super intense. It bursts from the glass with huge dark fruit, freshly cut flowers, tar and licorice, all of which come together with notable intensity. The 2009 shows off superb textural richness all the way through to the finish. The Charmes is young, young, young. (AG)" (04/2012)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Alain Burguet Gevrey-Chambertin "Mes Favorites" Vieilles Vignes (93JG, 91BH). John Gilman: "This is a beautiful, old vine bottling in 2005 that will well reward cellaring. The bouquet is deep, primary and pure, as it delivers a blend of black cherries, dark chocolate, grilled meat, earth, woodsmoke, violets and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and structured, with striking purity and focus, a sappy core, and beautifully integrated tannins and acids on the very long, complete and youthful finish. A truly superb bottle of top premier cru quality." (11/2006)
Starting Bid: $505.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Mommessin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru. A rich, luscious Grand Cru Burgundy from Mommessin, a fifth generation Burgundy producer focused on true varietal expressions. This vintage is full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and concentrated cherry and black fruit flavors. Straightforward nose, combining scents of berries (strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant) with more developed aromas of undergrowth and mocha. A powerfully structured and complex wine; beautifully full in the mouth.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Louis Jadot Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-94BH), (91-94RP), (92-94ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chambertin flows across the palate with explosive yet silky layers of fruit. The wine continues to build impressively, showing the radiant personality of the vintage. Everything is in the perfect place in this sublime Burgundy. Sweet inner fragrance lingers on the eternal finish. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2034. (AG)" (05/2011)
Starting Bid: $628.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Domaine Henri Boillot Chambertin Grand Cru ((93-96ST), 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Full ruby-red. Minerals, iron and crushed stone dominate the nose. Silky and dense on entry, then thick and sweet in the middle, with powerful minerality giving the wine outstanding energy and perfume. This expands inexorably on the back half and finishes with great length, thrust and perfume. There's superb underlying fruit here, but today this is all about soil. (ST)" (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $465.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Perrot Minot Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes ((92-94BH), (91-93RP), 93WS, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A wonderfully expressive and layered nose is more complex if not quite as elegant though here too there are soft floral nuances to the red cherry, pomegranate, plum and earth scents. There is a similar sense of refinement to the slightly larger-scaled flavors that are shaped by remarkably fine-grained tannins on the precise, saline and lingering finale. This is a Charmes of finesse that embodies what I like to call power without weight. In a word, lovely." (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $520.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Dominique Laurent Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" Vielles Vignes (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Superripe aromas of black raspberry, brown spices, incense and iodine. Superrich, chewy and deep but not yet expressive. At once dry and exotic in the mouth, but with sweet oak currently dominating fruit. This very fleshy wine finishes with mouthcoating, wood-powered tannins. (ST)" (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Louis Jadot Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-94BH), (90-93RP), (89-92ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is notably higher-toned than the Charmes with a more elegant blend of cool and restrained red currant, raspberry and liqueur of red cherry aromas, all trimmed in an overt stoniness that continues onto the bigger and more obviously concentrated flavors that carry better depth and length on the beautifully balanced if moderately austere finish. I quite like this and the sense of harmony is pronounced. Lovely and entirely classic in style. " (05/2011)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Perrot-Minot Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes ((94-96RP), (94-96VN), 95BH, 94ST, 94WS). Vinous: "A dark, inward wine, the 2012 Mayozères-Chambertin is endowed with stunning depth. Black fruit, chocolate, new leather, dark spices and violets saturate the palate. The 2012 is powerful and dense to the core, although the inclusion of 50% whole clusters does add an element of lift on the finish. The 2012 possesses substantial intensity and stuffing, all informed by decidedly baritone-inflected overtones. (AG) 94-96+" (01/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Faiveley Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-95BH), (92-95ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A reserved yet ultra elegant, airy and quite cool nose, particularly in the context of this notably ripe vintage, speaks of perfumed and very fresh red currant, stone and a hint of spiced floral notes. The mouth coating, rich and overtly muscular flavors possess outstanding detail and even more minerality than is suggested by the nose, all wrapped in a very serious and hugely long finish that is a bit less austere than usual. A stunner. " (01/2011)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1990 Domaine Rossignol-Trapet Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru (95WS). Wine Spectator: "Has incredible harmony, a dense fruit and tannin structure and an amazing balance of refined smoke, berry, tobacco and raspberry characteristics." (12/1992)
Starting Bid: $405.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Nicolas Potel Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Lavaux St-Jacques" ((94-95RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It’s hard to put names on the intense floral and mineral aromatics of Potel’s 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux St.-Jacques but suggestions of rose petal, sea breeze and crushed stone are woven throughout this wine. Salt-crusted red currant, raspberry and beef marrow wreathed in flowers and truffle scents on the palate lead to a mysteriously multi-registered, rarified finish possessed of truly ethereal floral and distilled red fruit notes. The refinement of texture and interplay of flavors here are rather white wine-like. As superb as it is intriguing, I would suggest anyone lucky enough to latch on to a few bottles check it out in at most three more years, as one would not want to miss out on anything that is present now. (DS)" (06/2007)
