Bid on this bottle of 2015 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard'' Anderson Valley Chardonnay (94JD, 94RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Bearwallow Vineyard is the most expressive of the vineyard designate Chardonnays today, offering up a pretty nose of crisp green orchard fruit, white flowers, subtle nutmeg and lemon curd. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and intense, with an elegantly textural attack, good concentration and a long, mouthwatering finish. It's not quite as searingly stony as the Horseshoe or Alpine bottlings, but that only lends it additional youthful charm. (WK)" (05/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94RP, 94VN, 92BH, 92JG, 92ST). Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard is another wine with great fruit intensity, not unlike the Family Farm, but with darker fruit and more exotic, spiced overtones. Black cherry, plum, cloves, lavender and violets meld together in a radiant, beautifully expressive wine loaded with intensity and pure class. Underlying veins of minerality are present, but they are totally covered by the pure intensity of the fruit. The Bearwallow was vinified with 20% whole clusters. (AG)" (07/2014)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Phillips Hill Pinot Noir Tasting Lot, including 3-bottles of 2007 Phillips Hill "Oppenlander Vineyard" Mendocino County Pinot Noir (90WE) and 1-bottle of 2014 Phillips Hill "Valenti Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir (94WE, 90BH). Of the 2014 Phillips Hill "Valenti Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This elegant, complex wine tastes like a delicate throwback to 1970s Burgundy in the way that it weaves its exotic, spicy and savory aromas with subtle fruit flavors. It's medium bodied and built of fine-grained tannins, reveal layer after layer with each sip. Best after 2019. (JG)" (05/2017)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94JG, 93RP, 93VN, 91BH). John Gilman: "The 2013 Bearwallow Vineyard pinot noir from Rhys Vineyards is starting to drink very nicely, though like the 2014 Swan Terrace, it is still in climbing mode and will be even better with further bottle age. Today, the bouquet is starting to show the first signs of secondary layering, wafting from the glass in a fine mix of black cherries, dark berries, lovely spice tones, a fine base of dark soil, fresh herb tones, cedar, hints of the cola to come and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and starting to get nicely velvety on the attack, with a lovely core of fruit, fine transparency and grip, fine-grained, seamless tannins and a long, tangy and complex finish. I had no trouble drinking this wine today, but it is going to be even better with another five years or more in the cellar. (Drink between 2019-2050)" (07/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94RP, 93JG, 92VN, 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard is a solid step up over the Anderson Valley release and has more tension, elegance and precision. Offering up classic notes of strawberries, spice, black cherries and a touch of sous bois, it has medium to full-bodied richness, terrific purity of fruit and integrated acidity. Give bottles a year or two and drink through 2026. While the majority of 2014s are charming and supple, that’s certainly not the case with these latest releases from Kevin Harvey. I found all of his 2014s to be concentrated, structured wines that defy the vintage stereotype. While it's going to be great to follow the 2014s, 2013s and 2012s over the coming decade or more, I suspect when all is said and done, the 2014s will be the best of the three. (JD)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Rhys "Bearwallow Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94VN, 93JD, 92JG, 92RP). Vinous: "The 2015 Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard is a total knock-out. Rich, explosive and forward, the 2015 possesses striking fruit intensity and purity in every dimension. Dark red and bluish-hued fruits and ripe, silky tannins add to the wine's immediacy. This is an especially plush style for Rhys, but it works beautifully. The 2015 will be even better in another few years, but it will prove virtually impossible to resist young. (AG)" (08/2017)
