1999 Noon "Reserve" Cabernet Sauvignon Langhorne Creek South Australia
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1999 Noon "Reserve" Cabernet Sauvignon Langhorne Creek South Australia (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve could easily be called a Pauillac from Australia. Dense ruby/purple, a classic Cabernet nose of cedar wood, smoke, cassis, mineral, lead pencil, and new oak soars from the glass. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, with fabulous concentration and multi-layered texture, high levels of glycerin, and a seamless, concentrated, long finish with well-integrated tannin, acidity, and alcohol. This is no wimpish wine at 14.6% alcohol, but sadly, there are only 290 cases of this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from 25-30 year old vines. (RP)" (06/2001)

1998 Noon "Eclipse" Grenache/Shiraz Langhorne Creek South Australia
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1998 Noon "Eclipse" Grenache/Shiraz Langhorne Creek South Australia (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby-purple. Vibrant aromas of cassis, black plum and violet. Very dense and concentrated but unevolved and tightly wound; vibrant acidity gives the primary flavors a juicy, penetrating quality. Finishes very long, with tannins that are quite firm but not hard. Should reward aging. (ST) 91+" (07/2000)

2004 Glaetzer "Amon-Ra" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Glaetzer "Amon-Ra" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (98RP, 95JH, 95VN, 94JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still looking fresh and complete, Glaetzer's 2004 Amon Ra Shiraz is full-bodied, rich and dark-fruited, with black cherry and plum fruit forming the base, while grace notes of baking spices, mocha and cedar play about the edges. Creamy and velvety in texture, with a long finish, it remains at its peak and should continue to drink well for another decade or more. (JC)" (08/2018)

2001 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (98RP, 93JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Readers should be on the look out for the 2001 The Dead Arm Shiraz, one of the greatest examples of this cuvee. Its dense, black/purple color is accompanied by celestial aromas of melted licorice, graphite, blackberries, cassis, incense, anise, and toasty oak. Fabulously concentrated, with great purity, an unctuous, viscous texture, and an amazingly long, 60-second plus finish, this fabulous baby will need 5-6 years of cellaring, and should drink well over the following 20-25 years. Drink 2003-2033.(RP)" (08/2003)

1997 Chris Ringland "Randall's Hill Vineyard" Shiraz Barossa Valley
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Chris Ringland "Randall's Hill Vineyard" Shiraz Barossa Valley (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, 1997 Randall’s Hill Shiraz offers notes of warm mulberries, figs, sandalwood, cinnamon stick, cloves, underbrush, tree bark and black truffles. Decadently full bodied, rich and dense, it has just enough refreshing acidity and a medium to high level of velvety tannins to support. The finish is long and layered of baking spices and dried fruits. (LPB)" (12/2010)

2001 Cape d'Estaing Shiraz Kangaroo Island South Australia
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2001 Cape d'Estaing Shiraz Kangaroo Island South Australia (94RP, 91JH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From six-year old vines cropped at a mere 2.3 tons of fruit per acre, the brilliant 2001 Shiraz is a candidate for the finest wine ever made on Kangaroo Island. It boasts an opaque purple color in addition to a complex perfume of blackberry liqueur intermixed with licorice, smoke, charcoal, and a hint of wood. Full-bodied as well as remarkably measured, elegant, and restrained for its power and mass, this brilliant achievement somehow walks the tightrope between excessive power and overly processed politeness. It combines intense flavor with tremendous finesse – an extremely difficult accomplishment. The good news continues as there are 2,500 cases of this brilliant Shiraz. It should drink well young yet evolve for 15+ years. Having been to the magical Kangaroo Island off the coast of Adelaide and spending nearly three days immersed in this wildlife parad

2002 Henry's Drive "Reserve" Shiraz Padthaway South Australia
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2002 Henry's Drive "Reserve" Shiraz Padthaway South Australia (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Shiraz Reserve tastes like a dry vintage port. It may be too much for those with a European palate (but then, I’m a Francophile with a European-styled palate and I loved it). It is flamboyant, extraordinarily rich, full-bodied, and intense, with gobs of blackberry and currant fruit backed up by extravagant levels of glycerin. The oak is largely concealed by the magnificent wealth of fruit. This is classic Australian Shiraz at its finest and is not duplicated anywhere else in the world, so enjoy it for what it is.
