Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95JD, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS, 93IWR). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2007 Esprit de Beaucastel is a blend of 44% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache, 21% Syrah, and the rest Counoise. A very great wine, very much in the mold of its French cousin, Chateau Beaucastel, the wine has a saturated ruby/purple color and a gorgeous nose of melted licorice, charcoal, blueberry, and blackberries intermixed with freshly sliced mushrooms, tree bark, and pepper. Spicy, dense, full-bodied, and extraordinarily complex, yet at the same time well-delineated and fresh, it should drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 92JS) and 1-bottle of 2013 Familiar Air Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90RP). Of the 2013 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is striking. Powerful and dense in the glass, with utterly mesmerizing balance, the 2013 hits all the right spots. Graphite, smoke, grilled herbs, black cherries and incense form a tapestry of aromas and flavors that simply dazzles. The 2013 needs time in bottle for the tannins to soften, but it is a real head-turner. The combination of intense tannin and opulent fruit is classic 2013. (AG) 95+" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Blend (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine is the 2014 La Proportion Dorée, a blend of 65% Semillon, 24% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle. This 650-case cuvée is from 29-year-old, dry farmed vines and was barrel-fermented. The wine is absolutely out of this world. With a light greenish gold color and a killer nose of lanolin, caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, orange marmalade and candle wax, the wine displays great acidity, a magnificent, massive, full-bodied mouthfeel, and seems to come across like a Sonoma County version of a dry Haut Brion blanc. This is singular wine - profound, compelling, whatever! It should drink well for at least 10 years, if you can resist its early charms. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97JD, 97RP, 97VN) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2017 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning. Seamless on the palate, with remarkable depth and richness, the 2017 has so much to offer. Black cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol build in a rich, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon that hits all the right notes. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well with only minimal cellaring. It is without question one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S, 91WE). Wine & Spirits: "Rob Davis blends this wine from gravelly benchland sites in Geyserville, as well as Cabernet vineyards higher up in the Alexander Valley hills. While the sources have evolved over the years, focusing on soils appropriate to Cabernet, his style remains consistent—a light, elegant wine with enough bottle maturity on release to turn the tannins toward silk. This late release in magnum is fragrant with red and black currant flavor, along with hints of tobacco. The tannins still hold some sharp edges, but the wine feels harmonious and integrated. Ready for filet mignon seared rare." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 10,200 cases of the remarkable 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. Opaque purple-colored with a dense, chewy, full-bodied personality, it displays abundant cassis, mineral, and earth notes. This brilliantly made, super-concentrated, pure, blockbuster possesses sweet tannin as well as a terrific finish. Having added additional weight since last year, this sumptuous, multilayered, profoundly concentrated Cabernet contains 14% alcohol. (RP)" (12/2000)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 Schrader Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Horizontal (OWC) (OWC), including 1-bottle of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96JS, 96RP), 2-bottles of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, (95-96JS), 95RP), and 2-bottles of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96JS, 95RP). Of the 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Another wine in the running for the wine of the vintage is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard CCS, which, as always, is all Cabernet aged in new Darnajou barrels. This full-bodied, magical 2017 has incredibly polished, silky tannins as well as a mammoth-sized texture and mouthfeel. Loaded with notions of blueberries, white flowers, graphite, candied violets, and incense, it’s one of those wines that carries incredible richness and depth y
Starting Bid: $880.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Deux Grenouilles" White Blend (97JD, 94RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Deux Grenouilles is another brilliant white from this estate. Based on 36% Roussanne, 29% Chardonnay, 23% Viognier, and the balance Petite Manseng and Muscat, brought up 48% new French oak (the balance is in neutral oak and concrete eggs). This rich, full-bodied, incredibly elegant white offers up a smorgasbord of buttered citrus, orange blossom, flower oil, and honeyed minerality. Despite being a full-bodied, powerful wine, it stays fresh and graceful, with terrific freshness and acidity. It needs a decant if drinking any time soon and should keep for a decade or more." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). John Gilman: "This was the first time that I had the pleasure to taste the 1998 vintage of Martha’s Vineyard and the wine is excellent. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a ripe and classic constellation of sappy cherries, blood orange, a touch of red currant, eucalyptus, a fine base of soil, cedar and fine spicy complexity in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and now nicely open for business as it closes on its twentieth birthday, with a superb core, impeccable balance and a very long, complex and moderately tannic finish. A classic in the making. (Drink between 2020-2060) 94+" (09/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014-2015 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2014 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 96RP, 95VN, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Saxum "Terry Hoage" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 96VN, 94JD, 91WS). Of the 2014 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend,Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A similar blend to the 2015, the 2014 Terry Hoage Vineyard (48% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 22% Mourvèdre) is a deeper, richer wine that offers sensational notes of blackberries, currants, pepper, crushed violets and hints of graphite. Deep, rich and layered, yet light on its feet as well as elegant and graceful, this sensational 2014 has sweet tannin, good acidity and a big finish. Give bottles a year or two (it’s great today as well) and enjoy through 2028. " (08/2017)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2007 Cakebread "Reserve" Carneros Chardonnay. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Cakebread’s 2007 Chardonnay Reserve exhibits elegant citrus blossom, apricot, and pineapple notes in its fresh, medium-bodied, fruity personality. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP, 93WS, 91CG). Vinous: "Dark, bright ruby-red, showing virtually no evolution at the rim. The nose offers complex, musky scents of dark plum, mocha and graphite, plus a suggestion of tobacco. At once compellingly generous, shapely and firm, this seamless wine is remarkably balanced for its extreme growing season, offering sound framing acidity and beautifully incorporated oak. The explosive finish deliver terrific energy and harmonious tannins. This gives pleasure now but should evolve in bottle for another 15 to 20 years. Incidentally, this was the first Georges de Latour made in Beaulieu's new dedicated facility. (ST)" (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Carlisle Syrah Horizontal, including 1-bottle of 2006 Carlisle "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah ((93-95RP), 93ST) and 2-bottles of 2006 Carlisle "Papa's Block" Russian River Valley Syrah ((94-96RP), 92ST, 91WS). Of the 2006 Carlisle "Papa's Block" Russian River Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An absolutely amazing Syrah is the 2006 Syrah Papa’s Block in Russian River. From a vineyard called Atoosa, this full-bodied wine is limited in production, but boasts fabulous notes of graphite, blackberry, spring flowers, and creme de cassis with some scorched earth and spice in the background. Incredibly rich in fruit, dense and full, this is a stunner. It should drink well for at least a decade. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JS, 94JD, 91VN). James Suckling: "Beautiful blueberries and violets with tar and spice. Medium to full body, fine tannins and a delicious finish. Complex flavors of blackberries and flowers at the finish. So delicious. Merlot with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. " (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (99WS, 97RP, 94VN). Wine Spectator: "Gorgeous, offering layers of rich, plush, dark berry, plum, blackberry, kirsch and fig paste, woven together with green olive and melted licorice. Full-blown, yet for all its depth and density it glides along on a smooth, tapered finish. (JL, Web Only-2011)" (06/2011)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97JS, 97RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Sugar Shack Estate is pure honeyed apricots and beeswax with suggestions of bread, salted almonds, croissant and a touch of aniseed. It is full-bodied, rich, intense, lifted, fresh and really well structured with a solid backbone, finishing long and sleek with some minerals. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Only 450 cases were made of this blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc from former proprietor Jean Phillips’ vineyards just south of the Oakville crossroads. The spectacular dense blue/purple color remains opaque. The wine displays the hallmark creme de cassis, floral and licorice notes that are so pure, vivid and intense, and which have always been part of this vineyard’s classic trademark. With great purity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and even more thickness, power and density than I remember, this wine has put on weight, developed more structure, and looks like a candidate for 30 more years of aging potential. This is a brilliant wine, much in keeping with the legendary status of this producer. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $2,601.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94JD, 93RP, 92JS, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "While it’s easy to think of the appellation blends as being the entry-level cuvées, with the quality always being higher with the single vineyard release, don’t make that mistake. The appellation blends can often surpass single vineyard releases and, in my experience, can age just as gracefully. The 2016 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is a beautiful wine well worth your time and money. Offering classic cherry and framboise fruit, complex spice, forest floor, and rose garden nuances, medium body, and a seamless, savory personality, it’s going to keep for 8-9 years." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Of the 2012 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Wine Spectator writes: "Beautifully crafted, rich and layered, this offers tiers of currant, blackberry, mocha, espresso and vanilla notes. The flavors slowly build depth while retaining an elegant mouthfeel, ending with a long, persistent finish that keeps echoing the core components. (JL)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 5" Central Coast Red Blend (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While I reviewed the 2011 Cumulus Vineyard #5 last year, I was thrilled to be able to retaste it this go around. Showing consistently, with tons of savory, meaty characteristics in its currants, cassis, ground herbs and wood smoke-like aromas and flavors, this is a full-bodied, gorgeously concentrated 2011 that shows the freshness and purity of the vintage, yet backs it up with plenty of texture and length. Aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice are accented by dried herbs and mocha. Savory, tactile and highly concentrated, offering outstanding precision to its complex flavors of dark raspberry, licorice, flint, smoke, beef brisket and black olive. Really remarkable retention of primary fruit for a ten-year-old California Syrah. At once salty and energetic, this beauty finishes with incredibly plush tannins and palate-staining length. Bid on this bottle of 2009 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 97WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard is a gorgeous, clearly California version of a grand cru from Burgundy, such as Clos Saint-Denis or Clos de la Roche. This deep plum/garnet-colored wine offers intense berry fruit along with forest floor, spice box, earth and loads of plum, cherry and strawberry notes, moving toward darker fruits, as well as earthy, autumnal, foresty scents. The wine is full-bodied, with great intensity, sweet tannins and good acidity. Drink it over the next decade or more. (RP)" (08/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93VN, 92JS, 92WS, 91RP, 91ST). Vinous: "The 2010 Matriarch is quite beautiful in this vintage. Supple and juicy at first, the 2010 has plenty of underlying structure. Rose petals, violets, new leather and a hint of orange peel appear on an exotic, perfumed finish laced with veins if dark red and blue fruits. (AG)" (11/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Eisele Vineyards "Altagracia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 94RP). A more dialed-in, terroir character than in past vintages. 88% cabernet sauvignon, 7% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot." (05/2018)

A little austere now, but really fine quality. Hold for a few years." (02/2000)

A blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot and 14% Malbec, it offers up aromas of blue and black fruits, charcoal, white chocolate and flowers. The soaring aromatics are followed by a wine with fabulous concentration, a seamless integration of acidity, tannin, alcohol and wood, a brilliant texture, a fabulous personality and loads of complexity as well as full-bodied richness. This potentially legendary proprietary red already possesses remarkably sweet tannin. ... Bravo! (RP)" (12/2010)

Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There is something ethereal about the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, a wine that I tend to give more perfect scores to than of the other Schrader offerings. This is clone 4 from a special block of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, and it always seems to have these incredible, explosive aromatics ranging from blueberry to blackberry to cass
Starting Bid: $1,205.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the southeastern AVA Coombsville in the Vaca Mountains, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from white tufa and decomposed red volcanic sedimentary soils. For whatever reason, it seems that people who buy from this vineyard make better wine than the actual owners, which I'm sad to say, is not exactly what proprietors Tom and Frank Farella would like to hear. This is a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon made from clones 4 and 8, offering a rich nose of blackberries, dark earth, a touch of barrique, and some baking spices. The wine is rich, full-bodied, tannic and backward. Deep and super-concentrated, it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, but should last another 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 To Kalon Vineyard Co. "Highest Beauty" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 97JD, 97WS). James Suckling: "This pure cabernet sauvignon is the real deal with redcurrant and terracotta character on both the nose and palate. It’s full-bodied, yet really reserved and ultra-refined. The quality of the tannins is super with such fine grain, yet it continues on for minutes. This is the first release and it shows beautiful classicism. Shows the essence of the place. Needs four or five years to come around. Try after 2023." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $299.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Male" California Syrah (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Like with the 2013 Grenache, I was thrilled to be able to taste the 2013 Syrah Male again (twist my arm), and it continues to impress. Giving up fabulous blackberry, bouquet garni, peppery herbs and minerality, this full-bodied, beautifully textured, concentrated and layered Syrah has ultra-fine tannin, impeccable balance and a great finish. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 97RP, 97VN, 95JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard is a blockbuster that does everything right, and I’m probably underrating this beauty. Incorporating a small amount of Petit Verdot and Malbec (which are always co-fermented), this deeply colored beauty gives up a massive bouquet of smoked black fruits, graphite, cassis, and tobacco leaf, with more minerality and black licorice with time in the glass. Possessing full-bodied richness, a mouthfilling decadence, sweet tannins, and a meaty, powerful style, count yourself lucky if you have any of this in the cellar. It will continue drinking beautifully for three decades or more." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Foxen Pinot Noir Multi-Format Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2012 Foxen "La Encantada" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (94VN, 93RP, 92WE, 91ST) and 1-bottle of 2012 Foxen "Solomon Hills Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir. Of the 2012 Foxen "La Encantada" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L),Vinous writes: "The 2012 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard is another of the many highlights in this range. Here the flavors are dark, smoky and gamy. Dark red cherry, plum, tobacco and cured meats flesh out in a resonant, highly expressive Pinot endowed with notable depth, especially within the context of the vintage. Hints of dried rose petal and violets linger on the finish. From start to finish, the Encantada is superb. (AG)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 94DC). Vinous: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine, but it also needs a good hour or more of air for some of the initial signs of funkiness to blow off. As that happens, the 2005 reveals a core of intense, concentrated dark fruit to match its brooding personality. Leather, smoke, licorice and tobacco all add to an impression of inward power, and yet in the glass, the 2005 opens up beautifully to show notable density and layers of texture that still need time to fully emerge. Although I have had better bottles, this is certainly a very fine example. Readers lucky enough to own the 2005 can look forward to several decades of exceptional drinking from this powerhouse, old school Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, (93-96VN), 94DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from MacDonald comes from the To Kalon Vineyard just outside of Oakville. It’s a classic 2014 possessing the purity, elegance, and sheer charm that’s the hallmark of this terrific vintage in the Valley. Crème de cassis, black raspberries, crushed flowers, and incense notes all develop with time in the glass, and while it starts out reticent and lightly textured, it gains incredible depth and length over the evening. This is Napa Valley at its most finesse-driven and elegant, and it’s going to drink beautifully for another two decades." (02/2018)
Starting Bid: $945.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Dirt Vernacular" California Grenache (100JD, 98RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "I called the 2016 Grenache Dirt Vernacular a perfect wine last year, and it’s still straight-up heavenly stuff that tops out on my scale this year. A blend of 78% Grenache, 11.5% Mourvèdre, 7% Touriga Nacional, and the rest Petite Sirah, it comes mostly from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills yet also includes fruit from the Third Twin, Cumulus, Bien Nacido, and Molly Aida vineyards. Aged 23 months in 38% new French oak, it offers awesome notes of kirsch liqueur, blackberries, ground pepper, leafy herbs, and graphite as well as a full-bodied, powerful, yet weightless style on the palate. It’s one of those wines that offer incredible intensity and depth, yet stays weightless, seamless, and elegant. It’s a magical wine and one of the greatest Grenache releases to ever come from California." (10/2019)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004-2005 Copain Syrah Tasting Lot, including 2-bottles of 2004 Copain "Cailloux & Coccinelle" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95RP) and 2-bottles of 2005 Copain "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (94RP). Of the 2004 Copain "Cailloux & Coccinelle" Walla Walla Valley Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "I continue to be awestruck by the amazing complexity and potential quality of the Syrah grown on the Oregon side of Walla Walla. While most of the fruit from this site goes to Washington State’s Cayuse winery, Copain’s 2004 Syrah Cailloux-Coccinelle (75% whole clusters were used) is riveting, and nothing I have tasted from Cayuse has been as profound as this cuvee. Copious blackberry, tapenade, bacon fat, crushed rock, and flower aromas jump from the glass of this rich, full-bodied, full-throttle, amazing Syrah. The olive characteristic continues in the flavors along with roasted meat, creme de cassis, and blackberry notes. A fabulous wine with undenia

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Palengat" Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, the sensational 2014 Palengat Vineyard is loaded with notions of chocolate covered plums, licorice, roasted herbs, and graphite/lead pencil shavings. Up there with the of the top vintages of the cuvee, this full-bodied, rounded and hedonistic 2014 shines in the vintage, has no hard edges, gorgeous purity, and plenty of ripe, sweet tannin. It’s a serious mouthful of a Cabernet and will drink nicely for 10-15 years. (JD)" (06/2017)

Of the 2003 Keenan "Mernet Reserve" Spring Mountain District Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2003 Mernet exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with sweet, creamy cassis and floral notes that suggest high-elevation mountain vineyards. The palate is full-bodied, rich, youthful and surprisingly unevolved for a wine that is a decade in age. Crunchy acidity adds to the vibrancy of this big red, which appears to have two decades of positive evolution ahead of it. All five of these 2003s are extremely impressive. While I have not looked back at my notes from initial barrel and post

Of the 2005 White Rock "Laureate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Laureate Napa Valley is a beauty and a sleeper of the vintage. There were 773 cases produced of this wine, which exhibits a nearly opaque, ruby/purple color and a beautiful nose of blackberry, cassis, graphite and subtle earthiness. It is full-bodied, fresh, beautifully textured and opulent, with no hard edges. The tannins and acidity are present, but beautifully integrated, as is any oak. Especially impressive are the rich mid-palate and long, pure, gorgeously refined and textured finish. This is a winner that can be drunk now, or cellared for at least another
