2012 Bacio Divino "Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Bacio Divino "Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95JS, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Virtually perfect, and a California verison of Haut-Brion or La Mission Haut-Brion is the absolutely remarkable 2012 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon. There are 250 cases of this prodigious wine, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from this site. Loads of scorched earth, burning embers/charcoal, blackberry and blueberry fruit soar from the glass along with some floral notes. Quite full-bodied, it offers sweet tannin, low acidity, and a fleshy, rich finish of close to a minute. The tannins are there, but they are wonderfully sweet and integrated. This is a fabulous effort from the Jenzen family. (RP)" (10/2015)

1982 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (100DC, 98RP, 98WS, 95ST). Decanter: "May Eliane de Lencquesaing had been at Pichon since 1978, so four years by the time the 1982 rolled around. The Merlot levels are a little higher than they are today (it was a favourite grape of her father's), but this flamboyant, fleshy style is exotic in all the right places. In fact it jumps out of the glass, with its caramel-edged sweet black fruits. The aromatics are still full-on wow, the fruits and tannins melded perfectly together. It's been two years since I last tasted this wine, and it was every bit as good back then. Harvest 16-30 September. 8% Petit Verdot finishes the blend. Drinking Window 2018 - 2045 (JA)" (07/2019)

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Mommessin Clos de Tart Grand Cru (1.5L) (96RP, 95WS, 92BH, 92ST, 91DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at Corney’s Clos de Tart vertical. This has been a monumental Clos de Tart since the day it was born. Much deeper in colour that commensurate vintages, the 2003 retains that decadent, almost outrageous bouquet with blueberry, damson, black olive and an almost Barolo-like fruit profile. Well…they do say they are similar! The palate is full-bodied, surfeit with glycerine, rich and extravagant with luscious, lascivious dark berried fruit, Xmas cake and fresh fig. Cashmere tannins towards the finish. You cannot help but be smitten by this Clos de Tart. Burgundy with balls. Drink 2015-2030. Tasted April 2010. (NM)" (04/2010)

2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (3L)
Bid on this 3L-bottle of 2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (98RP, 96ST, 95CG, 95WE, 95WS, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Monte Bello ,72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot is simply magnificent. Layers of dark red fruit, flowers, spices and graphite are all woven together in this utterly impeccable wine. The 2009 is an especially huge, intense Monte Bello, yet a sexy, silky core of fruit lies within its imposing frame. Everything comes together in this glorious, radiant wine. Last year the 2009 had some pretty stiff competition from the 2010, but today it is simply firing on all cylinders. Eric Baugher describes 2009 as a year with cold weather early on, followed by heat in early June and July. The fruit was brought in on October 12, just before an intense downpour swept through the region. There is a purity and silkiness supported by structure in the 2009 that is impossible not to admire. Simply put, this

Deep and generous aromas of blackberries, fresh tobacco and minerals. It's full-bodied, with big velvety tannins and a superlong finish. 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. It is so good now, why wait? However, I’m sure that like most vintages of Caymus, it will last for 20-25 years. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

2008 Penfolds "Grange" Shiraz South Australia
Bid on this bottle of 2008 Penfolds "Grange" Shiraz South Australia (100RP, 100WS, 98JH, 98WE). Wine Spectator: "An utterly majestic Shiraz, sleek and seamless, brimming with ripeness on a framework that allows for grace and expressiveness in equal measure. The intensity of fresh blueberry and plum fruit holds attention until the nuances kick in, offering glints of exotic spice, coffee, cocoa, bay leaf and mint. Shows tremendous presence without a lot of weight, the tannins present but not even close to getting in the way. A great wine now, with plenty of room to grow. (HS)" (06/2013)

2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)

It is full-bodied, rich, intense, lifted, fresh and really well structured with a solid backbone, finishing long and sleek with some minerals. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard Schrader, which comes from clone 4 and clone 6, from two separate blocks, is another prodigious Cabernet. It boasts stunning concentration, a dense purple color, plenty of crushed rock, floral, black currant, pain grille, and spice box notes, and outstanding ripeness as well as richness. Forget it for 3-4 years, and enjoy it over the following 25+...the 2007s, universally acknowledged as a great vintage for Napa, are spectacular. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Shakti" California Grenache (100RP, 97JD, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Grenache Shakti is blended of 88% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Touriga Nacional, coming 51% from the Cumulus (Estate) Vineyard, 18% from The Third Twin (Estate) Vineyard, 9.5% from Bien Nacido Vineyard and 21.5% for the Eleven Confessions (Estate) Vineyard. It was produced using 42% whole cluster and aged for around 21 months in French oak, 6% new (bottled June 21, 2017). It offers up a deep garnet-purple color and notes of dried Mediterranean herbs, dusty earth, Chinese five spice and rose petals over a core of red currants, mulberries, red plums and black raspberries, plus a waft of chocolate covered cherries. Full-bodied, decadently concentrated and yet very, very pretty in the mouth, it delivers incredibly fine-grained, ripe tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing on a persistent--totally disarming--perfumed red fruit note. Jeb Dunnuck: "Considered the flagship vineyard of the estate, the 2016 Pinot Noir Summa Old Vines comes from vines planted in 1978 and was brought up in 50% new French oak. It is a vibrant, focused, exotic effort that reveals incredible notes of raspberries, plums, cedary spice, blood orange, and earth. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is fabulous. Dark raspberries, flowers, tobacco, mint and rose petals all meld together in a long, soulful wine loaded with personality. Today the tannins are a bit firm, but that should not be an issue in another few years, once the wine has come together a little more fully. Today the 2011 M. Etain is absolutely singing. 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 94WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The star of the show, the 2010 Isosceles Reserve (90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot aged 21 months in 100% new French oak) is a deep, rich and muscular effort that still has some oak and tannin to integrate. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish. The tannin quality here is exceptional, and while it has no shortage of fruit, it retains a sense of elegance and balance. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar and drink it through 2025. (JD)" (10/2014)

2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (95RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The more powerful side of the Santa Cruz Mountains comes through in the 2010 Pinot Noir Home Vineyard. Massive, incisive tannins frame black fruit, savory herbs and tar, in a sort of California version of Bonnes-Mares, with vertical tannins and great overall balance. I suppose the 2010 Home might lack just a touch of finesse, but it makes up for that with its compelling and deeply expressive personality. This is the first vintage that includes predominantly young vines from a recent replanting. It will be interesting to see how this site responds in future vintages, but I have to think the direction is pretty clear. (AG)" (08/2012)

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2006 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (OWC - 94RP, 94WE, 93ST, 92WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the property, the 2006 Château Pichon-Lalande has a voluminous bouquet with outgoing blackberry, cassis and violets scents, a touch of boysenberry jam tucked just underneath, although it does not quite have the delineation of the Lynch Bages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This feels very composed in the mouth, quite fresh with well-judged acidity, harmonious and tensile on the finish. This deserves a higher score than I awarded out of barrel and it continues to improve year by year. (NM)" (05/2016)

Composed of 55% Semillon and 45% Muscadelle aged nearly 30 months in French oak, it reveals a dark amber color along with a blockbuster bouquet of toffee, maple syrup, roasted hazelnuts, creme brulee, toasted pineapple and assorted honeyed citrus. The appellation blends can often surpass single vineyard releases and, in my experience, can age just as gracefully. The 2016 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is a beautiful wine well worth your time and money. Black raspberries, cassis, white pepper, white chocolate, and hints of bacon fat give way to a full-bodied, seamless, elegant wine that has terrific freshness and purity, ultra-fine tannin, and a huge finish. Not too dissimilar from the 2014s, which have the same supple, sexy, and approachable style, it should drink reasonably well right out of the gate and cruise for 15-20 years in cool cellars." Full-bodied, tight and focused — in part thanks to sensational tannin tension that is intense yet polished. Needs five to six years of bottle age to come together. Great second wine of Palmer." 2017 Carlisle "Montafi Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Carlisle "Montafi Ranch" Russian River Valley Zinfandel ((91-94VN)). Vinous: "The 2017 Zinfandel Montafi Ranch shows a darker side of Zinfandel. Then again, the 2017 includes 11% or so mixed blacks. Dark cherry, tobacco, cedar, menthol, chocolate, licorice and dried herbs all fill out the wine's ample frame. This is a decidedly potent, brooding wine that will require a few years in bottle to be at its very best. (AG)" (01/2019)

Of the 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon,Vinous writes: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from

2010 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS, 92CG, 91JS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve is built from completely different sources. Sixty-six percent came from the St. Helena Home Ranch, 18% from the Chabot Vineyard, and the rest from Beringer's estates in St. Helena, Rutherford and Coombsville. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that came in at 14.6% natural alcohol with a pH of 3.8. Perhaps the greatest Beringer Private Reserve since the 2007, 2005, 2002 and 2001, the 2010 offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, creme de cassis, subtle smoke, wet rocks and background oak. Full-bodied, rich and impressive, it can be drunk now or cellared for two decades. (RP)" (10/2013)

1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (100RP, 98JS, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 Hermitage La Chapelle lived up to its reputation on this occasion, and of the three titans (1990, 1978 and 1961), it was probably my favorite. Still inky colored and ruby at the rim, it offers an absolutely profound bouquet of sweet cassis, smoked meats, chocolate, licorice and spice. This is followed by a full-bodied, insanely textured, pure and hedonistic palate that has that perfect mix of still-vibrant fruit and ample secondary nuances. I suspect the '61 was even richer at this stage, but the overall purity and freshness here are incredible. It will continue to evolve for decades, but I'd happily open bottles today. 2012 Rudius "Knockmore" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Rudius "Knockmore" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill - Knockmore comes from a small parcel on Pritchard Hill directly across the street from Ovid and backed up to the well-known Colgin IX Estate Vineyard. As Jeff Ames says, this is 'a fantastic neighborhood.' The wine, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, was also bottled unfined and unfiltered after 18 months in about 70% new French oak. This is another small cuvée of only about 100 cases. Fabulous flavors of black raspberries, blackcurrants and spring flowers jump from the glass of this wine, which seems to be a characteristic of many of the same wines in the neighborhood. Deep ruby/purple in color, it's sexy, opulent, lush and much in keeping with the 2012 style. This multi-dimensional, layered, velvety textured wine is loaded. There's not a hard edge to it, and the impression is one of extravagance and lavish, rich fruit. It's

2010 Pierre Usseglio "Cuvée de Mon Aïeul" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Pierre Usseglio "Cuvée de Mon Aïeul" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 97JD, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Usseglio’s consider the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee de Mon Aieul to be their greatest to date. I’ve done numerous tastings with the 2010 and 2007 side by side, and more times than not, I think the 2007 is the better wine. Time will tell though, and both are sensational wines that readers should have in their cellars. The inky colored 2010 is 100% Grenache fermented with 30% stems and aged in a combination of older barrels and foudre. More focused and precise than the '07 (and even darker in color), yet still with massive concentration and depth, it offers deep, rich notes of blackberries, cassis, ground herbs, pepper and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, thick and layered on the palate, it never puts a foot wrong, has fabulous purity and a blockbuster finish. It needs 3-4 years of cellaring, but will have 20-25 years of longevity. 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Rosé Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Rosé Champagne (98RP, 97DC, 97VN, 95ST, 92CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Unfortunately there is only one new release from Dom Perignon on the market, but what a wine it is! The 2002 Brut Rose explodes from the glass with endless layers of huge, voluptuous fruit, A big, full-bodied wine, the 2002 is probably the most overly vinous, intense Rose ever made by long-time Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy. Layers of cool, insistent minerality balance the fruit beautifully on the crystalline, vivid finish. The 2002 will be nearly impossible to resist young, but take my word for it; the wine is extremely closed right now. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2032. (AG)" (10/2012)

Full-bodied and very sweet, with fantastic concentration of ripe and botrytized fruit, yet balanced and refined. Electric acidity. Lasts for minutes on the palate. This is absolutely mind-blowing. This is the greatest young Sauternes I have ever tasted. Best after 2010. *Wine of the Year 2004* (JS)" (09/2004)

1990 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1990 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac (96RP, 96ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Interestingly, a bottle of 1990 Lafite Rothschild I pulled from my cellar for a video blog on my web site was still buttoned down, tight, and even with extended decanting was not showing as much as I would have hoped. However, a bottle tasted, of all places, in Seoul, Korea in February, was only a few points short of perfection. That amazing performance motivated me to pull another bottle out of my cellar and follow it over the course of two days. Sure enough, by the second day the wine was roaring from the glass. The 1990 Lafite has turned out far better than my early assessment. While it still possesses some firmness, and performs like a late adolescent in terms of its evolution, it boasts gorgeous aromas of cedar, tobacco leaf, cassis, and lead pencil shavings. The explosive aromas are followed by a fleshy, full-bodied wine that should hit its peak in 5-8 years, and last

2004 Contino Gran Reserva Rioja (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2004 Contino Gran Reserva Rioja (1.5L) (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bottled only in 2,693 magnums, the 2004 Gran Reserva is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and 10% Garnacha from Rioja Alavesa, raised from three years in American and French oak with racking every six months. It has a very intense, scintillating bouquet of kirsch, crushed strawberry and a touch of eau-de-vie. It is very animated and vigorous. The palate is beautifully composed with luscious, red fruit interlaced with dark chocolate and mocha; underpinned by crisp acidity that maintains freshness and poise. It is brutally backward at the moment but should age effortlessly over the next 20-30 years. This is a purring Bentley of a wine! Drink 2014-2030+ " (08/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97JD, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from 21 different lots from 11 different vineyards, the 2016 The Bard is very deep purple-black in color and sashays out of the glass with strikingly beautiful violets, warm cassis, star anise and chocolate mint notes with hints of wood smoke, tobacco and kirsch, with blackberry compote at the core. Full, muscular and built like a brick house with layer upon layer of black, blue and red fruits, it finishes very long and savory (LPB)." (10/2018)

2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((96-100RP), 98JD, 95JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The yields were not off as much at Schrader as some other estates, the alcohol levels were relatively modest ranging between 14.3% and 14.5%. Characteristic of this vintage, there is magnificent fat, sucrosity and thickness on display in all of these wines. They are inky black/purple and seemingly low in acidity, but according to Thomas Rivers Brown the acids were quite sound and healthy. The tannins are present, but so well-disguised by the high levels of glycerin and sucrosity that they are not that noticeable. Several of these wines, including the Schrader, CCS, T6 and LPV have the potential for perfect scores. These will be thrilling to taste next year and will continue the incredible legacy that Schrader Cellars has developed over the years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay CIX Estate is beguiling in its complexity and singularity, offering up scents of smoked nuts, waxed lemons, crushed rocks and coriander seed with hints of crusty bread, honeysuckle, baked peaches and clover honey. Full-bodied, full-on creamy and densely laden with layers of citrus and savory flavors, it has just enough freshness and wonderful length. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Pavie, St-Emilion (100JD, 100RP, 97WS, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Just beginning to come around and strut its enormous potential, this wine at age 15 has been evolving like a glacier. The wine has an inky, opaque, plum/purple color and a stunningly rich nose of mulberries, bramble berries, blackberries, licorice and incense as well as touches of toast and graphite. Fabulously concentrated and full-bodied, with a multidimensional mouthfeel, this profound Pavie is in mid-adolescence. It should evolve and continue to drink well for at least another 30-40 years. A full-bodied wine of power and structure, it is crammed with black currants, blackberries, and spices. Its dense fruit is matched blow for blow with a muscular, firm structure.
